The mole

*Chapter 22: The Mole*

Aria's eyes locked onto the figure in the shadows. She couldn't make out their features, but she could sense their eyes on her.

Ryker followed her gaze and nodded. "I see them," he whispered. "Let's take care of the mercenaries first."

Aria nodded, her heart racing. She knew that they had to take down the mercenaries before they could deal with the mysterious figure.

As they fought their way through the mercenaries, Aria couldn't help but feel like they were being watched. She glanced over at the figure, but they hadn't moved.

Finally, they took down the last mercenary and turned to face the figure. As they stepped forward, the figure emerged from the shadows.

It was a woman with long, curly hair and a familiar face. Aria's eyes widened in shock as she realized who it was.

"Lena?" she whispered.

Lena nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "I've been working undercover for months," she said. "I've been feeding Vraxxis false information and gathering intel for you."

Aria's eyes narrowed. "Why should we trust you?" she asked.

Lena's smile grew wider. "Because I have proof," she said. "Proof that Vraxxis is planning something big. Something that could destroy the entire city."

Ryker's eyes locked onto Lena's. "What is it?" he asked.

Lena hesitated, glancing around nervously. "I'll tell you," she said. "But we need to get out of here. Now."
