A rag-tag group of newly freed slaves finds themselves in the continent's largest and most dangerous forest after the oldest of them made a deal with some of chorts living in it . Watch them trying to navigate the warzone of a society ruled by racism , homophobia , violence , sexism and the whims of the gods while trying to keep themselves and those around them sane and safe . All the while facing their own trauma and prejudice and being forced to grow into better people .
