Hinata laughed and chatted with Naruto, feeling carefree and happy in his company.
As the afternoon sun began to wane, Naruto suggested:
"Hey Hinata, want some ramen? Ichiraku Ramen is just ahead - best in town!"
Hinata's face lit up: "I love ramen - let's go!"
Inside the cozy ramen shop, Naruto invited Hinata to share a table:
"Teuchi-san, bring us two cups of your famous miso ramen!"
They slurped the steaming hot noodles together - Hinata closed her eyes in delight:
"Mmmmm, this is amazing!"
Noticing Hinata was still hungry after finishing her cup, Naruto called out:
"Teuchi-san, bring another round - and another if needed - till we're both full!"
Teuchi chuckled and obliged - Naruto and Hinata enjoyed multiple cups of ramen together
As night fell over Konoha, Naruto walked beside Hinata and said:
"Hey Hinata, I'll walk you home - make sure you get back safely."
Hinata hesitated slightly, worrying about her father's potential scolding, but accepted:
"Thanks, Naruto... I'd appreciate that."
They arrived at the Hyuga compound gates - Hinata's heart sank anticipating her father's anger.
Hiashi Hyuga stepped out of the shadows, eyes narrowing at Hinata's late return:
"Hinata, again... explaining is overdue-"
But his gaze shifted to Naruto standing behind Hinata, and his expression changed to surprise.
Naruto stepped forward, a friendly smile on his face:
"Hiashi-san, evening - I invited Hinata to Ichiraku Ramen earlier. We both got pretty hungry!"
Hiashi's frown deepened, eyes still fixed on Naruto:
"What business did you have roaming around with my daughter at night, Naruto?"
Naruto bid Hinata goodbye with a nod:
"Later, Hinata - thanks for ramen time!"
As Hinata entered the house, Naruto turned back to Hiashi:
"Actually, Hiashi-san - do you know about Hinata's huge appetite? She was still hungry after two bowls of ramen..."
Hiashi's eyes widened in shock - Naruto sneered slightly:
"Maybe take better care of her meals - she was starving despite dinner time being hours before ramen."
Hiashi looked stunned, then offended, but Naruto just chuckled and walked away into the night:
