Exams were over.

Aurora Moonray always smiled, helped Giselle feel better, and offered the uplifting words that, more often than not, she herself longed to hear. During the day, she immersed herself in books, and at night, she silently cried beneath her bedsheets, not wanting her parents to feel bad.

At the end of the school year, Giselle introduced Ivy Goldenshield, her classmate, to Aurora. The three of them exchanged test results and discussed answers. Their conversation mostly revolved around academics. All three of them worked hard, striving for better results and to make their parents proud.

Before long, the final exams were over. Ivy ranked 3rd, while the other two made it to the top 15 list. However, Giselle and Aurora's parents weren't pleased with the results. Despite all three being accepted into the same high school, their interactions remained limited.

Aurora had always dreamed of wearing a white coat, being respected, and being called "Dr. Aurora." However, her grades weren't good enough to get into medical school after high school. Although her parents were willing to pay for her education and support her pursuit of medicine, she feared it would become a financial burden on them. So, she pretended that her ambition had never been to become a doctor. Instead, she convinced her parents to help her pursue engineering. Ivy ended up in medicine, while Giselle also chose engineering.

The three of them ended up at different colleges, each following their own path. Though they were farther apart than ever before, it was a silent cry for mental help and understanding whenever they reached out. Aurora made a few friends, but she rarely spoke about herself. She cheered on those around her, all while being aware that some talked behind her back. Just like in school, she chose to ignore them.
