Days passed, and one evening, the girls decided to meet up on a whim. They strolled through the park, chatting about everything under the sun - random topics, people they knew, and teasing each other relentlessly. The park was quieter than usual, with fewer people around. It was the perfect moment for Aurora to finally explain what had happened on New Year's Eve.
"WHAT?? I did what?!" Giselle mouth dropped open, eyes wide in disbelief, as she turned to Aurora.
Giselle's memory was blurry, but a few flashes started to come back. "Wait, now that you mention it, I think I remember seeing that guy in the car... Vicky... or whatever his name was."
"Victor," Aurora corrected with a raised brow.
"Yeah, Victor," Giselle continued, her tone a little more certain. "I think I followed his car down the road. Then he stopped, rolled down the window, and asked, 'Ma'am, is there anything I can help you with? You seem to be chasing our car.'"
Ivy and Aurora exchanged a look, both curious about what happened next. "Okay… and then what?" Ivy asked.
Giselle grinned mischievously. "Well, I told him, 'Yeah! I just wanted to let you know that you're an idiot!'"
Aurora and Ivy stared at her in stunned silence, their mouths hanging open.
"You really said that?" Ivy blinked, her voice dripping with disbelief and amusement.
Giselle shrugged casually, completely unfazed. "What? He asked, so I answered. I wasn't in the mood for pleasantries."
Ivy burst out laughing, while Aurora was more unamused than anything, knowing exactly what followed next.
"That's not even the worst part," Aurora muttered, crossing her arms.
Ivy's laughter died down as she raised an eyebrow. "Oh? What happened next?"
Aurora glared at Ivy. "You don't remember what you did, troublemaker?"
