Before the man knew, Aurora's foot collided with his cheek. The impact was so brutal that his head slammed into the door with a sickening thud. Aurora didn't hesitate; she grabbed the small girl's hand, pulling her close as the man began to shake off the daze.
"Help! Help!" Aurora screamed, her voice high and frantic as she hoped to draw attention. She wasn't sure how much longer she could keep this up alone. Without a second thought, she launched herself into another flying kick, sending the man sprawling back to the floor.
The little girl, her wide eyes sparkling, couldn't help but giggle at the sight of the man on his back. It was almost as if she were amused by the entire scene.
Aurora turned back to the girl, her protective instincts kicking in, but as she did, the man was already charging toward her, his fist raised, intent on landing a crushing blow.
Aurora barely had time to react.
Bang!
A deafening noise split the air, and everything seemed to freeze for a split second. The man stumbled, his punch missing its mark by inches. Aurora's eyes widened in confusion, but before she could process what had just happened, the source of the sound revealed itself.
A tall figure, dressed in all black, stepped in front of her. With an almost effortless motion, he had grabbed the man's raised fist mid-air. He twisted the man's arm, locking it in place with an iron grip. The bad man howled in pain, his voice cracking as he screamed, "Ah! AH! AHHH!!!"
The tall figure remained calm, his expression unreadable. With his other hand, he dialed a number on his phone, his voice cold and authoritative. "Send my bodyguards to the 5th floor, right corner, now!"
"Sir!" came the sharp reply from his phone.
Within seconds, the man's bodyguards rushed to the corner of the room, taking position.
The tall man's voice grew even more commanding as he addressed the struggling figure on the floor, "Give this man a good lesson and hand him over to the police."
The bad man groaned, trying to break free, but the grip only tightened. It was clear that any attempt to escape would be futile.
Turning his attention to Aurora, the man's demeanor shifted, his voice softer now as he bent down to face the little girl who had been caught in the middle of the chaos. "Where are your parents?" he asked gently, his voice carrying an air of concern.
The girl looked up at him, her eyes wide, though not fearful. "I don't know, either. i was caught playing with doll and ended up getting on the lift and got down in this floor... "
The man nodded, his face hardening once more. "Take her to the reception. Have them make an announcement. Safely return her to her parents."
One of the bodyguards, a large man with a stern expression, stepped forward and gently took the girl's hand. "Come with me, sweetheart," he said in a soothing voice. The girl nodded, her hand slipping into his, and together they walked toward the reception as instructed. The man, still holding the bad guy in place, straightened up and gave a nod to his bodyguards.
