Super handsome man

Nimbs Technology had been working closely with Caldwell Innovations for the past eight months, with review meetings held every two months. Throughout this time, Victor made sure to clear his busy schedule whenever Giselle came to visit, giving her his full attention during the reviews, even stealing a few glances in between. As the project came to an end, Caldwell Innovations was thrilled with the results. It was set to bring global recognition to the company, thanks to the invaluable contributions from Nimbs Technology. The project had even earned a nomination for the upcoming Global Tech Connect event next week. Victor, representing Caldwell Innovations, and Giselle, as a partner representing Nimbs Technology, would both be attending the prestigious event.

Tonight was meant to be a celebration of the project's successful completion. However, Victor had prior commitments with his grandfather and couldn't make it to the dinner. "Thank you every one here for your efforts especially Giselle and her team along with our IT folks who made this a successful collaboration. Tonight lets raise our glasses and celebrate" said the Manger of the project. The room was filled with laughter and fun games.

"I'll step out for a moment to get some fresh air," Giselle said, her voice slightly slurred as the alcohol had started to take its toll. She swayed slightly on her feet, her tipsy state evident. Victor, who had arrived just as the dinner was winding down, had pleaded with his grandfather to leave early so he could catch a glimpse of Giselle.

Seeing her standing alone in the cold night air, Victor couldn't help but worry. "Hey, what are you doing out here all alone? And seems like you're drunk. Go back inside and stay with your friends," he said, his voice laced with concern.

"Mr. Victor… my so-called boyfriend ," Giselle mumbled, swaying slightly as she spoke. Victor's eyes widened, caught off guard by her words, even though he knew it was probably the alcohol talking.

"Giselle... stop talking nonsense and get inside," he said, his tone firm but gentle, his concern for her clear.

"Nope," she replied defiantly. "I wanna go sit by the ocean."

With a resigned sigh, Victor walked to his car. "Fine. Let me take you to the ocean," he said, shaking his head. Giselle hopped in without hesitation. On the way, Victor called his manager to let him know he wouldn't be attending the rest of the dinner and that Giselle was heading home by cab. Giselle had only brought her phone to the dinner table, making it easier for Victor to cover for her.

As the car screeched down the empty roads by the ocean, Giselle let out a loud, tipsy squeal. "Wooooaahhh!" she yelled, her voice full of excitement. Victor smiled at her carefree attitude, finding amusement in her childlike wonder.

"Thank you, super handsome man," she said dramatically, once they'd parked and she got out of the car, facing Victor with a playful grin. Without waiting for a response, she ran toward the ocean, her laughter echoing in the night air.

Victor chuckled, watching her run off. Despite the chaos of the evening, seeing her so carefree brought a small smile to his face.
