The Massacre of Innocence

Chapter 7:

Darius walked in alone, his eyes void of mercy. Any who stood in his way fell, his dark power ripping through them like paper.

The Palace's elite S-rank warriors, sensing an existential threat, assembled against him.

"Darius, you've lost your mind! You're killing innocents!"

"Innocents?" he growled. "Where was that mercy when my sons bled?"

The battle began.

Flames clashed against darkness, light struck against void. The sheer force of the fight tore through buildings, shaking the very foundation of Eldoria.

Darius tore through them—until the healers intervened. Five barriers enclosed him, restricting his powers. At that moment, twenty of the strongest S-rankers released their combined magic upon him.

His body bled. His breath faltered.

But he stood.

He raised his hands, unleashing the full power of the black mist. The very essence of their magic crumbled before him, nullified into nothingness.

"This is your end."

Then—

A single beam of divine light pierced through him.

Darius staggered. His body collapsed.

The world fell silent.

Epilogue: The Legend Lives On

As the dust settled, the warriors stood over Darius's lifeless body.

But deep in the heart of the magical forest, two young boys watched the skies, their fists clenched.

This was not the end.

The legend of the Forsaken Warrior had only begun.
