Chapter 60: First Love

[Chapter 60: First Love]

Twenty minutes later.

Inside a plush hotel room.

Scarlett nestled in Ian's embrace. She wrapped her arms around Ian and kissed him passionately, releasing all the fervor of a young woman. Feeling her youthful fragrance and warmth, Ian slid his hand slowly to her waist. Scarlett pressed her delicate hand onto Ian's chest.

"No, just this is enough for now. I'm not ready for more..."

"Really?" Ian replied, holding Scarlett's waist and gazing at her rosy lips. He leaned in and kissed her softly again.

Tender, comfortable, and simply blissful! Scarlett felt a slight shiver. This was such a wonderful sensation!

She gently bit her lip and insisted, "That was my reward for you, but don't expect anything more."

Ian smiled at her beautiful face. Should he try a little hypnosis? But wasn't that a bit excessive? Trying to charm her with such tactics felt beneath him!

When had he ever been one to play dirty? Besides, if she didn't like him, she wouldn't be here.

"No, she's just being coy, and I'm merely speeding things up, testing her feelings for me," Ian convinced himself blissfully as he looked into Scarlett's eyes.

"Look at me, darling, you really don't want to just leave like this, do you?"

Scarlett stared into Ian's eyes, mesmerized. What a handsome, perfect man he was! In that moment, she felt completely lost, softly whispering, "Oh Ian, I can't resist you... I want you, Ian!"

She suddenly lunged forward, wrapping her arms tightly around Ian again.

"Me too," Ian laughed.

His eyes showed no signs of pain, meaning this girl had to be 99% on board! So he embraced Scarlett and kissed her deeply. Their clothes quietly slipped off during their intimacy, a wine glass fell to the floor, spilling a crimson liquid.

As the couple passionately embraced, they released the most beautiful parts of their lives together...

...

An hour later.

Scarlett curled up in Ian's embrace, the slight discomfort from a new experience could not overshadow the joy and excitement of being with him. She felt utterly enchanted by Ian. Her gaze was filled with thoughts of him as she playfully nibbled on his arm, leaving a trail of tiny bite marks.

Ian kissed her lovely lips and chuckled as he glanced at the bite marks, saying, "Not too even."

He was joking, but Scarlett blushed intensely, saying, "I need to get braces!"

"Hey, I was just kidding, sweetheart; you don't need to take it so seriously," Ian consoled, holding her shapely waist.

"But women strive for perfection, and I'm an actress! I can't let those guys mock my teeth," Scarlett insisted seriously.

Ian knew better than to argue further with Scarlett about this; she was determined. He played with her a bit and replied, "Alright, as long as you like it, however you want it."

Scarlett wrapped her arms around him, rubbing herself against him, sending Ian's mind racing with desire again. He quickly said, "No, no, not now."

Scarlett sparkled her big, bright eyes at him, saying, "What? I didn't even say no!"

Ian gently kissed her adorable face, explaining, "I have to check in at the office to manage some work; what just happened needs my immediate attention."

Scarlett's expression turned slightly sour.

She sat up, displaying her curvy figure and frowned at Ian, "Do you not know that for a girl, just after a moment like that, running away is a huge no-no? I can't allow you to treat me this way!"

Ian chuckled as he pressed her lightly down, teasing, "Don't talk nonsense; how could I bear to leave you?"

As he spoke, he kissed his way down Scarlett's forehead, nose, lips, and neck, trailing down her thighs and finally kissing her delicate foot, leaving her out of breath. Her sultry eyes gazed at Ian as she pulled him closer, not wanting to let go.

Ian wandered his hands all over her, taking his time, before finally whispering, "I'd hate to leave you, but work is work. Or you could come with me? It might get a bit boring at the office, would you be okay with that?"

"Sure! That won't be boring at all," Scarlett eagerly bounced up.

The girl freshly experiencing love couldn't bear to part with her beloved for even a second. Besides, she didn't feel like Ian's work was at all dull. The way Ian had threatened Harvey Weinstein over the phone earlier was totally cool, even when rescuing that suicidal teen!

In Scarlett's eyes, Ian was always cool, exuding different kinds of charm with every moment. His calmness and confidence during work only added to that charismatic aura that girls found so attractive!

Excited, she jumped up, raising her hands in the air, "I love watching you in business! Putting those guys in their place, so commanding!"

Ian wrapped his arms around her, playfully smacking her soft backside, chuckling, "You've never seen that, and I don't like doing it like that either. It's not wise to flaunt your power with subordinates; one must use it wisely."

Scarlett passionately kissed Ian's neck, leaving a vibrant lip mark behind, proclaiming, "I don't care; anything you do is great. This mark shows you belong to me!"

"Like a lion marking his territory?" Ian laughed.

Scarlett pouted adorably, "Not quite!"

As she snuggled in closer, Ian inhaled sharply. He quickly pulled her close, saying, "Don't rush, sweetheart; if we take too long, I really will mess up my work. Hurry, get dressed, and once I handle this, I'll spend proper time with you."

After a flurry of playful teasing, they both finally dressed, checked out of their room, and headed to the Los Angeles Herald newsroom.

...

The moment they stepped into the hall, they heard a cheering crowd shouting "Yay!!!"

Everyone in the newsroom stood up, applauding wildly for Ian.

Ron Lloyd strolled over, laughing heartily, and embraced Ian warmly, "Great interview, perfect report! Though it was a bit risky!"

Don't tell me you're still not used to this?

Ian grinned, saying, "This is what every righteous young person should do."

One editor quipped, "We don't have any cameras rolling here, boss; you don't need to sound so virtuous."

Laughter erupted throughout the room.

Ian adjusted his collar and said, "It's all about good habits; successful people must have them."

Then he called out, "Remember the key points we need to highlight regarding this incident. First, the LAPD attempted to execute an innocent teenager. Second, Ian Carr and Scarlett Johansson rescued that boy. Make sure to promote Scarlett prominently -- arrange for a follow-up interview with her later."

The torch incident had dimmed Ian's reputation somewhat; this event could certainly help restore his image.

One editor asked, "How do we explain him shooting at the negotiator?"

Ian's expression turned serious, responding, "That was not his intention; the negotiator was too arrogant, attempting to persuade the opposition under the guise of his authority. He's not fit for the position because he lacks the necessary skills. We need to emphasize Bill's innocence and the plight he endured, covering his efforts, loneliness, and bullying during school."

An editor, puzzled, asked, "Was he bullied?"

Ian smiled slightly, stating, "It could definitely be?"

The group quickly understood.

Deciding such things was really up to the pen of the writer, after all!
