Chapter 179: This Would Be the Greatest Performance of Your Life

[Chapter 179: This Would Be the Greatest Performance of Your Life]

After leaving backstage, Ian didn't return to the lobby but headed straight outside.

He casually settled onto a sofa, lit a cigar, and lost himself in thought about how to solve the issues ahead.

A lovely voice broke through his reverie, "Need a cold beer, Mr. Carr?"

Ian turned to see a tall, attractive woman standing behind him.

"Megan Fox?" Ian's eyes lit up.

The woman in front of him was none other than Megan Fox, the leading lady from Transformers.

However, at that moment, she hadn't starred in the film yet; she was just starting out.

She was here not as an actress but dressed in a server's outfit.

Megan's eyes sparkled with excitement. "You know me? Mr. Carr?"

Ian nodded, "I've seen your movie, Holiday in the Sun."

Megan's face brightened.

Holiday in the Sun was her first film, not very well-known, which is why she was still working to make ends meet. At just 17, she was in the prime of her youth.

Megan gasped in delight, "This is such an honor!"

Ian smiled and pointed to the empty seat next to him, "Have a seat."

Megan immediately shook her head, "I can't sit with guests while I'm working. You know how hard I worked to get this job."

The chance to work here and interact with celebrities was highly coveted.

Ian chuckled, "If your boss fires you for sitting down, I'll congratulate you."

Megan's eyes brightened at the implication.

She quickly took a seat next to Ian, placing a beer in front of him, "Let's celebrate, it's on me."

"Thanks!" Ian took the beer.

Not far away, someone at the bar shouted, "Megan, you can't sit with guests!"

Megan glanced over at Ian, who nodded with a smile.

Megan then ripped off her server uniform and flashed a middle finger at the bar, "Screw this job!"

She leaned close to Ian and murmured, "Ian Carr is not someone who goes back on his word, right?"

Ian laughed, "You just quit your job."

Megan grabbed Ian's arm playfully, "And that's because of you. I'm counting on you now!"

Ian laughed even harder.

For someone in a position of influence, what was most important?

Time!

Time is money!

A minute could mean millions, who had time for dating?

So being proactive was the best choice!

He looked up at the ceiling and let out a long sigh.

He had reached a point where he no longer needed skills; beautiful women approached him on their own -- unless they were like Ivanka Trump.

Ivanka had recently left LA to deal with family matters.

...

Ian turned to the bar and called out, "Get me a bottle of Romanee-Conti!"

The bartender was taken aback, "Mr. Ian Carr?"

Ian waved his hand lightly, "You don't need to shout. I don't want to make news today."

Holding his drink, he and Megan chatted and sipped as the distant sounds of cheers and applause drifted from the main hall.

Someone was winning an award and delivering the usual excited acceptance speech, filled with cliched thank-yous.

Megan took a sip of her drink, looking at Ian excitedly, "Why don't you go in and sit? Mr. Carr."

"Just call me Ian," he replied casually. "As a media person, I'm interested in explosive events and stories worth discussing, not those that are just mundane tales based on celebrity personas... too uninspired."

Megan looked at him excitedly, "Is that why you always land big stories? I know Jessica Alba, she got famous because of you, and the same with Shawna and Amanda!"

"That's still up for debate; they need more work and time," Ian replied.

"But you have a knack for making people famous, and once they are, they get chances to star in blockbusters!"

Ian smiled mischievously at her, "Do you want that?"

Megan nodded eagerly, "Of course!"

"Are you willing to take risks?" Ian asked.

Megan understood, "The Wife decapitation murder case?"

Ian nodded, "Yes. It's the quickest and most effective way! Good methods don't shy from repetition! I can position Kate Beckinsale, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba, and Shawna as heroines, and adding one more won't be an issue."

Megan grabbed Ian's arm, her voice soft, "You'll protect me, right? I know you're a very powerful person, taking down the Bloods Gang by yourself! Even if you won't admit it."

"You know me well," Ian replied with a slight smile. "Thanks for your trust, how about we take a walk?"

Megan understand the invitation: "Are you planning to take on LA's nightlife?"

Ian savored his drink, smiling, "The nights in LA never disappoint."

It was a risky choice, and Megan clearly was someone who loved adventure, especially when there were significant benefits involved!

"Absolutely, Ian Carr!" Megan licked her lips gently. "I'm eager to see how you create news!"

---

After leaving the theater and moving away from the peaceful areas, the car headed toward the secluded outskirts of Los Angeles.

Inside an underpass, Ian stopped the car.

He opened his camera and pointed it at the tunnel.

Then he took Megan's hand, standing together under the bridge.

He embraced her, slipping his hands inside her clothing, and Megan leaned against the wall, closing her eyes and softly murmuring, "Are you sure you want to do it this way?"

"Don't you think this is exciting?" Ian greedily teased Megan.

Megan began to feel a fire igniting inside her; she bit her lip, struggling to suppress her moans, whispering, "Don't undress, it's not shot-worthy... I just hope those guys won't disturb us. I mean... oh!"

Megan playfully swatted Ian, clearly startled by his boldness.

Ian chuckled, "They will come, but until they do, we can enjoy ourselves."

"Did you bring a gun?"

"Of course, it's always with me... always!" Ian said, softly licking her earlobe and chuckling.

Megan closed her eyes, savoring Ian's strength.

Beneath that underpass, in the depths of night,

she couldn't contain her mounting excitement, spilling into breathy gasps felt through Ian.

Soon she lost control, exclaiming loudly, "Oh, fuck! Fuck!"

She writhed and twisted in pleasure.

Ian's hands roamed under her clothing; the night was long...

...

In that passionate moment, laughter from some young people echoed nearby. "Look, there's a good show happening over there."

Hearing this, Megan, still pressed against the tunnel wall, gasped, "People are coming; what will you do now?"

Her anxiousness heightened, which only excited Ian further.

After all, when people are anxious, their instinct is to tighten up.

Ian wrapped his arms around Megan, refusing to stop, chuckling, "What storyline do you want? A damsel in distress, with Ian Carr as her hero? Or a heroine saving the day?"

Megan was getting more excited, her body quivering, "You're a madman, Ian, but the scary part is believing you. I'm a bit crazy too; no one has given me an experience like this before."

Ian shook his body, "Time is short; we need to finish the script quickly before we can put on the show."

Megan giggled, "I'd rather be a damsel in distress... the endless hero trope is getting old!"

"Then it's settled," Ian said, slowly pulling away from Megan.

He adjusted his clothes.

Then he turned to face the approaching figures.

...

The burly men approached with sneering smiles, "Mind if we join in?"

In the dark, they couldn't see Ian and Megan's faces, but it didn't matter.

Ian smiled at Megan; she had dropped her dress and stood confidently.

Ian chuckled, "You'd better scream a little."

Megan was still anxious and scared, especially with a knife in one of their hands, but Ian's confident gaze and playful tone gave her courage.

She nodded, "Of course!"

Then she began to dramatically yell, "No! No! Help!"

At first, it was an act, but as the men moved closer and Ian remained unfazed, Megan did feel a bit scared.

She quickly shifted into character, shouting, "No! No! Ian, help me!"

The men lunged for her, and seeing Ian's calm demeanor, Megan screamed hysterically, "Hurry, save me!"

Ian glanced at one approaching man, smiling, "This will be the greatest performance of your life, Megan, too bad the time is short."

As he spoke, he threw a punch.

...

A minute later, the fight was over.

Megan looked around in surprise; the attackers were on the ground, unable to get up, finally realizing who had taken them down.

Megan stared at Ian, "You didn't use a gun?"

Her eyes sparkled with excitement.

So strong!

So fierce!

Women admired strong men, appreciating rugged masculinity rather than something delicate.

Ian Carr's bold style captivated Megan Fox; in that moment, she felt that even without any celebrity status, Ian would still win her over.

"Used it already, baby," Ian said with a smile.

He approached her, pushing Megan against the wall, her back to him, slowly lifting her skirt.

Megan gasped, "You want more?"

Ian held her slim waist and playfully spanked her bottom, "The previous act isn't over yet. Besides, compared to a typical news story about Megan Fox being saved by Ian Carr, don't you think an Oscar night where Megan Fox is saved by Ian Carr, and returned the favor on the spot would catch more headlines?"

Megan was thrilled all over.

Is that how it's done?

Ian Carr, you're a born director and writer!

You can always turn ordinary news into extraordinary tales!

She shouted, "Fuck me! Ian Carr! Fuck me! All the women in the world will envy me for being saved by Ian Carr! Right in front of those thugs... oh, MY GOD!"

She tilted her head back, releasing loud moans and gasps that left the thugs lying on the ground utterly despaired.
