Hand of Glory! Thor for Glory!

Seeing Aaron and Sif, Odin subconsciously considered using Sif to win Aaron over.

As long as Aaron marries an Asgardian woman, I believe he will feel more at home in Asgard. Sif grew up watching him, and her loyalty to Asgard is unquestionable.

Aaron, the son of a hero, is originally the god of magic—more courageous and resourceful than Loki. It would be even more reassuring if Aaron and Sif were successful.

But then, Odin hesitated.

He had originally wanted to promote Sif and Thor, and now, in all of Asgard, only Sif was qualified to be Thor's wife, the future queen.

Yet, the two of them had grown up together for so long, yet neither had ever shown any romantic interest in each other.

Sif didn't have any feelings for Thor beyond friendship, which frustrated Odin's plans.

And then there was Aaron's appearance, which made him reconsider his strategy.

What are the chances of success here?

Odin didn't dwell on it for too long.

He looked at Aaron and began speaking according to his original thoughts: "You have handled the matter of Midgard very well. Although Asgard hasn't visited Midgard in a long time, those people shouldn't forget their Asgardian allies. We've guarded the Nine Realms for so long, yet they don't know how to be grateful and now they want to use weapons of mass destruction against Asgard's warriors. If we don't punish the Aesir, they'll become the laughingstock of the gods!"

"When the issue with Bifrost is resolved, I'll send Thor to Midgard with you to make those mortals come up with a reasonable explanation. Otherwise, the wrath of the gods will fall upon them!"

At that moment, Odin wasn't showing the benevolent side he once had. As a father, anyone who would point a weapon at his son was a direct threat.

"If Bifrost hadn't been damaged and couldn't easily descend upon Midgard, I would have shown those mortals the full force of a father's anger."

Even if that would put him at odds with Kamar-Taj, Odin would have no hesitation.

"You've maintained the majesty of Asgard and warned the people of Midgard. As a reward, I'll give you a powerful magic."

Odin's tone shifted suddenly. He raised a long spear and tossed it to Aaron. "Take it and strike me!"

Aaron steadied himself as he caught it, confused by the request.

Is Odin testing his strength? But shouldn't it be a different kind of test? After all, I'm a magician, not a warrior. Why would he want me to fight directly with him?

The others exchanged puzzled glances.

Heimdall stepped forward, "Father of Gods, this isn't right!"

"Why don't I fight Aaron instead?" Heimdall offered.

In Asgard, anyone who points a weapon at the king can be branded a traitor, often resulting in permanent exile from the divine realm.

"Yes, Father! Let Aaron stay and grow in Midgard," Thor added, eagerly glancing at Aaron.

Since Odin had mentioned that Aaron might take his title as the strongest warrior, Thor had wanted to find an opportunity to prove himself.

Furthermore, the destruction of Bifrost had prevented him from avenging Magneto, but if he defeated Aaron in a duel, it could be seen as avenging his previous loss.

It would also be a way to show he was still the strongest.

"Enough!" Odin interjected, cutting them off. "What I want to teach Aaron is a new magic that must be cast by me."

He silenced the others and encouraged Aaron: "Don't hesitate. Strike me! I allow it!"

"Understood."

Aaron didn't waste any time. He thrust the spear forward.

Though it was a simple attack, it was carried out with remarkable skill. Without thousands of repetitions, it would have been impossible to execute the strike with such precision and power.

Odin, seeing this, couldn't help but admire Aaron. Frigga was right. Aaron not only possesses amazing magical abilities but also martial prowess that surpasses ordinary people.

Odin's reaction wasn't slow. With a quick motion, he firmly gripped the tip of the spear. Immediately, Aaron sensed a powerful magical aura radiating from Odin's hand.

The next second, the Uru metal spearhead shattered into pieces!

"This is..."

"Just like Hela's technique!" Aaron thought, recognizing the move.

He had seen Hela use this technique to crush Mjolnir, and now, he was experiencing the same treatment.

Odin had used The Hand of Glory—a powerful magic that allowed the user to concentrate and direct energy to concentrate on a single point, making it a potent force beyond physical limitations.

"This technique... It comes from a warrior with exceptional ability. I can see her shadow in you," Odin explained.

The magic was remarkably similar to Hela's, but Aaron's skill appeared to be stronger. Despite being an ordinary Aesir, Aaron's ability had surpassed even that of his own bloodline.

Odin continued, "The Hand of Glory is a high-level magic that focuses energy to a specific point. When concentrated in the palm, it releases a powerful force capable of destroying even Uru metal.

Additionally, if you direct the energy to other parts of your body, it grants unparalleled defense, as long as you can see the incoming attack."

Aaron's ability mirrored Hela's, but with even greater power. It was no surprise Odin could use this technique as well. As the Allfather, he was beyond ordinary limitations.

But Odin added, "When performing this magic, the caster must synchronize their reaction speed and energy flow.

It takes vast energy to achieve both offensive and defensive power. If the caster cannot respond in time, the defense collapses."

Aaron had witnessed this flaw firsthand in Hela, who had been pierced multiple times during battle despite the formidable defense of the Hand of Glory.

Her resilience allowed her to survive, but without it, she would have perished.

"Aaron, now, use energy materialization to create a weapon and attack me again!"

Aaron nodded, gathering energy and forming a spear of the same type. As he charged forward again, Odin's eyes widened in surprise.

It really is... just like a real spear!

Odin was impressed, realizing Aaron's magical abilities had far exceeded his expectations. The energy emanating from Aaron's body rivaled his own.

It wasn't hard to see why Aaron had been able to overpower a Phoenix.

Odin raised his hand and demonstrated the technique once again, showing how to create materialized weapons with magic.

Outside, everyone else was left in awe. Not everyone could learn the Hand of Glory.

Heimdall would never attempt it. Thor had no interest in magic.

Aaron, however, paid close attention, studying every word Odin spoke and feeling the subtle magic fluctuations. He began to replicate the Hand of Glory with precision.

After a while, he conjured a long sword of Uru metal and slashed it toward his left hand!

Clang!!

The sword that should have easily cut through was instead blocked effortlessly by Aaron's hand. His fingers squeezed the blade as magical power surged through his body, destroying the sword in an instant.

The Hand of Glory was truly powerful!

Aaron wondered if he could improve it further—perhaps even remove its weaknesses in strength and defense.

If he could apply magic to his whole body at all times, he could potentially become invincible—like a magical Superman!

Though the idea seemed far-fetched, Aaron believed it was possible to surpass even Superman with time and consistent development. His ultimate goal was to challenge the almighty beings who stood above everyone else.

"Excellent!" Odin said with a satisfied smile. "Now that you've learned, go with Thor to solve the problems of the Nine Realms. The future belongs to you."

Odin's peace had long since left him, but at least now he felt some relief.

"Wait! I want to fight too!" Thor suddenly exclaimed, standing up.

He was eager to prove himself under Odin's watch.

"Thor! Don't be foolish!" Odin warned, though a part of him admired Thor's enthusiasm. It was the perfect opportunity to motivate him.

The question now was whether Aaron would agree to the duel.

Aaron thought for a moment before nodding slightly.

He understood Odin's intentions. Odin hadn't tested him further earlier because he wanted Thor to have the opportunity to challenge him.

Aaron didn't mind. How much power would he need to use against Thor? Thor wasn't even fully awakened yet—he wasn't a true match for Aaron.

Perhaps once Thor obtained the Storm Axe, he could force Aaron to take the fight seriously.

But for now, Thor's lightning was the perfect test for Aaron's magical resistance.

Seeing Aaron agree, Thor turned to Odin. No further approval was needed.

Odin nodded, signaling his consent.

"Hahaha! Aaron, let's see who the strongest fighter in Asgard truly is!" Thor boomed, excited for the challenge.

Thor had always believed himself to be the strongest, and nothing had changed. Even now, with Aaron's rise, Thor still thought of himself as the top contender.

"I suggest you go all out, Thor," Aaron said, a playful smirk on his face.

Thor raised an eyebrow, thinking Aaron doubted his strength.

"Don't worry, Aaron, I'm Thor the Mighty!" he said confidently, patting his chest.
