Spiderwoman Gwen, New York Is About to Explode?

"What to do?"

"If Aaron really wants to take the Space Gem, what's next?"

Loki spun around anxiously, unable to settle his nerves.

He had subtly manipulated Eric's development to align with his plans. Once the test succeeded, Loki could cross into Midgard through the portal, collect materials, and build a massive interstellar portal capable of transporting an entire army. However, with Asgard's attention elsewhere, Heimdall wouldn't be able to prevent their invasion.

But now, an unforeseen issue had emerged—Lun was here and intended to take the Space Gem.

If it was taken, any hopes of building the portal would vanish.

Loki understood that, to secure Asgard's restoration, Bifrost would need to be rebuilt, and that would cause a massive shift.

Loki was desperate to prevent Aaron from arriving, but he knew neither he nor Eric could face Aaron directly.

Convincing Aaron? Unlikely.

Unless he could first conquer Midgard and then possibly entice Aaron to join him.

But even Loki, the master tactician, knew that when it came to raw power, his strategies were useless.

Strength—he needed strength!

He realized why Aaron had once told him that he was unfit to be King of Asgard. Despite his allies and his army, when facing Aaron, Loki could think of no solution.

Even if he were King of Asgard, what could he do if he exiled everyone hostile to him?

Loki now understood that power was paramount.

He had to combine strength with strategy to become invincible.

Magic... he still had magic!

Aaron had mastered magic to an incredible degree. If Loki put in the time, he too could reach such heights.

Looking at Eric testing the Space Gem, Loki sighed and canceled his astral projection.

In the distant universe, a colossal spaceship floated silently in the void.

It was Thanos' ship, the Holy Place.

"Loki, you've returned. Any good news?"

"My troops are growing impatient. They're eager to fight!"

A humanoid figure, entirely different from humans, approached. He was the leader of the Chitauri, Thanos' subordinate.

"The plan has changed. We need to renegotiate. Tell your men to control themselves," Loki replied dismissively, his distaste evident.

If it weren't for the Chitauri's strength, Loki wouldn't have bothered with them.

"An accident? What do you mean?" The Chitauri leader raised his voice. "The master values this mission! Our army is the strongest in the universe, and we're responsible for taking down Earth. Do not waste time delaying!"

"Be patient. Even if it's a small issue, it's no big deal," Loki responded, glancing at the Chitauri leader.

"But the Earth is filled with backward, barbarian planets. It won't be a real battle. Your army is invincible, after all, right?"

Loki narrowed his eyes.

"Are you questioning us?" the Chitauri leader sneered. "Do you know how famous we are in the universe?"

"We bring destruction! Entire civilizations tremble under our rule!" he boasted.

Loki raised a hand, impatient. "I know. We've heard all this before. But for now, the Tesseract isn't in your hands. So, stop talking about it and prepare to move. We leave for Earth immediately."

Loki was careful not to mention that the Universe Rubik's Cube was about to fall into Asgard's hands.

He planned to confront Aaron and force him to surrender the Tesseract after they took control of Earth.

"Didn't the master teach you ancient knowledge?" the Chitauri leader asked. "Why not teleport us with the Tesseract?"

"The Tesseract is in the hands of a powerful individual. I cannot retrieve it from him alone," Loki explained, his tone condescending.

Loki knew that if he could defeat Aaron, the Chitauri would be unnecessary. He, like Aaron, could easily crush Earth's defenses on his own.

"But even with the scepter, why can't you control him?" the Chitauri leader asked, puzzled. The scepter was inlaid with the Mind Gem, capable of controlling anyone's mind.

Loki scowled. "He's a magician. The greatest magician in the Nine Realms—the God of Magic."

"Do you understand what that means?" Loki didn't wait for a reply, growing irritated. "Even after learning mind magic for just an hour, he resisted Amora, the most powerful mind charmer in Asgard!"

"Think the scepter will control him? Forget it."

Loki had briefly entertained the idea of using the scepter, but he wasn't sure it would work against Aaron's magic.

Aaron's power was now beyond comprehension. He could defeat entire cities, and Loki wasn't sure if the psychic scepter could affect him.

"You think your gods are special?" the Chitauri leader laughed. "You're a son of Odin, but compared to my master, you're nothing."

Loki shot him a cold glare.

He'd be happy to send the Chitauri leader into battle as a distraction if it meant securing his own plans.

For now, however, he needed to focus on how to hide everything from Heimdall. Perhaps there was a way…

An idea formed, and he looked at the Chitauri leader with a knowing gaze.

New York City:

As the God of Magic approached, chaos began to ripple through the city.

Though the news was being kept under wraps, a few people knew that danger was imminent.

George, the chief of the New York City Police Department, was among the informed.

He had just received an urgent task while on vacation at home.

He was ordered to lead the police force to a secret base for a high-stakes operation. The details were vague, but it was clear the situation was serious.

The operation could involve saving lives, and the worst-case scenario was a disaster like the one in Washington.

George felt uneasy, instinctively turning to the TV, still broadcasting reports from Washington, where thousands were missing or dead due to an unknown event.

New York was affected too, and George's intuition told him this operation was more dangerous than expected.

Though his sense of duty kept him calm, his instincts screamed that something terrible was about to unfold.

After saying goodbye to his wife and daughter, he donned his uniform and prepared to leave.

"Dad, where are you going?" his daughter, Gwen, asked.

"Gwen, don't worry. I'll be back soon. I just have some urgent business to take care of," George reassured her.

His wife, Helen, also expressed concern. "What's going on? This sounds serious."

George smiled. "It's nothing, just a small matter. I'll be back before you know it."

Helen nodded, but Gwen wasn't convinced. She had overheard her father's conversation and knew the operation was related to the Washington incident.

Her senses tingled with a sense of danger—the kind of pressure she hadn't felt since gaining her powers.

She was worried about her father's involvement in such a major crisis, especially when she could feel that a terrorist threat was heading straight for New York.

The tension was suffocating.

Suddenly, Gwen decided she couldn't just sit by. She ran upstairs to change into her Spiderwoman suit, ready to take action.

S.H.I.E.L.D Accelerator Test Center:

As Aaron arrived at the center, local agents and police were already in position.

Though they knew their efforts were futile against the gods, they did their duty nonetheless.

Upon landing, Nick Fury and Aaron entered the base, but there was an issue.

The person in charge of the experiment hurried over, panic evident on his face.

"The Tesseract test—it can't be shut down," the man reported.

"What's going on?" Nick Fury demanded.

"The Tesseract released a burst of energy during the test. It's out of control. We can't stop it," the man stammered. "We need to evacuate. The energy levels have exceeded human capacity, and the entire base might collapse!"

Fear gripped the room as the situation worsened. The energy was escalating, and it was clear that New York could be affected.

Aaron felt the intense energy surge through the base—it was unlike anything he had ever encountered. It was nothing like a nuclear bomb, but its destructive potential was off the charts.

The group quickly realized something was terribly wrong. The base was shaking, and cracks had begun to appear in the walls.

The energy was violently spilling out, growing stronger by the second.

"Let's go!" Aaron ordered, rushing toward the epicenter of the chaos with Sif and the others.

"Sir, should we retreat?" the person in charge asked, clearly terrified.

Nick Fury's gaze flicked to Aaron before he responded with determination. "No, stay in position."

They had no time to waste. Aaron's actions would decide the fate of New York.

Far away, Gwen felt the oppressive energy coming from the base. It was the feeling of imminent destruction.

As she watched her father heading toward the danger, she couldn't just stay behind. She followed, determined to help.
