Gwen Wants To Learn Magic? Thor Is Scared!

The mothership of Thanos, the Holy Place, is a symbol of unparalleled combat power.

As one of the greatest warlords in the Milky Way, even many cosmic empires are hesitant to challenge it. The Holy Place is even more formidable than the Kree Empire's Dark Star. Its firepower is so intense that it can devastate an area's surface in a matter of moments.

When the Holy Place fired, everything was reduced to flames—whether it was the Chitauri army or the buildings on the surface of New York. Countless soldiers and civilians were slaughtered.

To win, the Chitauri leader was willing to sacrifice tens of thousands of his own troops.

Along with the Holy Place, the Leviathan biological battleship also unleashed its destructive laser cannons, intent on eradicating everything in sight.

The fiercest resistance—those with the most powerful abilities—were the primary targets.

"My God! If this continues, New York will be completely destroyed! We need to find a way to stop this; it's a massacre!" Gwen exclaimed, watching in horror as destruction unfolded before her eyes. The sounds of screams and the voices of Yuan Hao echoed through the chaos.

Unable to bear the sight, Gwen, whether as a hero or as an ordinary person, desperately wanted to help. But in the face of such a massive battlefield, her power felt insignificant. She could save one or two people, maybe even dozens, but that was far from enough.

The earlier joy of gaining power faded quickly, replaced by the crushing realization of how weak she still was.

In the face of overwhelming power, there was little she could do.

"Would you like to gain power, Miss Gwen?" a voice whispered.

Amora, the ancient sorceress, appeared next to her. Her voice was like a tempting whisper, echoing in Gwen's ears.

In her desperation, Gwen turned to face Amora. "What do you mean?"

"If you want power, you could learn magic. And standing before you is the greatest magician in all the Nine Realms," Amora said with a knowing glance, looking up at the sky.

Gwen followed her gaze and saw Aaron, his figure glowing with an aura of invincibility as he fought fiercely. His power captivated her.

"If I had his power, could I save more people?" Gwen murmured to herself.

Amora smiled triumphantly.

"Enchantress, what are you doing?" Sif's voice came from beside them, her gaze flicking to Gwen.

"It's nothing," Amora replied, her voice sweet with mischief. "I'm simply guiding a lost soul back to the right path."

Sif raised an eyebrow. "The Enchantress guiding someone? I highly doubt that. You have a history of... mischief."

Amora just smiled, unbothered by the accusation.

Meanwhile, Sif, ever the warrior, observed the battlefield with growing concern. Her attention shifted to Jean Grey, whose eyes glowed with an eerie red light.

"What a terrifying human from Midgard," Sif muttered, a deep unease settling in her chest. "Even Magneto is no match for her. The level of power she exudes... it's unlike anything I've felt before."

She had faced Magneto before and knew how strong he was. But Jean's power felt different—vast and overwhelming.

"If it weren't for the Phoenix Force, we'd all be in a far worse situation," Sif thought grimly.

In the spaceship's video conference room, Nick Fury was under fire from the politicians.

"Nick Fury, didn't you promise us that the Avengers would maintain peace on Earth?" one of them demanded. "How did this happen? Do you know how many people have died? At least half a million, and the numbers are rising fast!"

"The aliens have attacked every major human settlement. Who will take responsibility for this? You, or us?"

Despite their accusations, Nick Fury remained stoic. "I've already warned you. Aside from the Avengers, we need better surveillance of space. We must expand the Triskelion program!"

"The Avengers are already assembled and fighting valiantly in New York. Thousands of Chitauri have been killed. If you provide me with more resources, I can form an even stronger force."

"That's impossible," one politician snapped, shutting him down immediately. "The budget for S.H.I.E.L.D. is already stretched. After the Pierce incident, we can't afford to keep investing in these projects."

The room was tense, with no one willing to compromise.

A different representative then suggested, "We need to use nuclear weapons. Only by destroying the alien warships in the sky can we solve this issue once and for all."

"No!" the U.S. representatives immediately rejected the idea. "We cannot allow nuclear weapons to be used on American soil. That's a violation of human rights!"

The absurdity of their words hit Nick Fury like a slap in the face. The United States, now on the verge of collapse, still cared more about public perception than their own survival.

The meeting descended into chaos. As the U.S. representatives argued about their image, others remained silent, more concerned with their own countries' interests.

One U.S. representative repeated, "Our forces are already assembling. The Avengers are fighting alongside two Asgardian gods. Soon, we will destroy these invaders."

With that, he ended the meeting, eager to leave before the situation worsened. As far as he was concerned, the survival of his position mattered more than saving lives.

The room quieted as the representatives left, and Fury sat brooding, realizing that the Earth's security was now in the hands of beings far beyond human control.

"We must have a way to fight back," Fury muttered to himself. "Thor and the Asgardians might not actively become our enemies, but we need the means to confront them if necessary."

With the Chitauri invasion, the Earth had attracted the attention of aliens. There would likely be more threats to come. Perhaps even sooner than they realized.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, Aaron's magical powers proved decisive. The magical Superman form he adopted gave him immense strength and defense, but when facing the Chitauri, it still wasn't enough.

Aaron had to rely on other methods—like atomic recombination. With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed a golden shockwave of energy that spread out, disassembling everything in its path, including the Leviathan warships and Chitauri soldiers.

The Chitauri, stunned by the overwhelming power, began to flee, but the energy followed them relentlessly.

The Chitauri leader, realizing the scale of the threat, barked orders to fire everything they had at Aaron.

But the Holy Place's firepower couldn't even scratch Aaron.

"Keep firing! Kill him!" the Chitauri leader shouted, but Aaron remained unscathed, his energy field absorbing the barrage effortlessly.

Desperate, the leader gave up, commanding a retreat. He needed to report this nightmare to his master.

"Humans aren't weak," he muttered to himself in fear. "They're gods in disguise."

But even as he attempted to escape, Aaron made his move. With a burst of golden light, he crashed into the mothership, reducing it to rubble in seconds.

Thor, watching from above, flew to Aaron, eyes full of frustration. "How many tricks are you hiding? Have you been holding back?"

Aaron, looking genuinely innocent, replied, "Oh, I may have hidden about a hundred million tricks... but don't worry about it."

Thor's eyes narrowed. "Did you just say 'billion' and not 'million'?"

"Maybe," Aaron said with a grin.

Thor hesitated, then sighed. "Alright, how about a duel? No magic, just pure combat."

Aaron raised an eyebrow. "You sure?"

Thor nodded. "I am... wait, let me think about it."

Aaron's smirk grew. "Last time, I beat you badly. Are you sure you want to do this?"

Thor immediately turned to leave. "Never mind. I've got to catch Loki. We'll fight another time."

"See you later, Thor," Aaron called after him, amused.

Thor was learning quickly: fighting Aaron without knowing his full capabilities was like inviting embarrassment.

Back at their residence, Gwen approached Aaron, her eyes wide with awe. She stared at him, speechless for a long time.
