Lv8 Energy Absorption! Let's Go to Limbo!

When Thor woke up, he looked at Aaron with disbelief and fear in his eyes.

He had been confident when he arrived, but now he found that even drinking alcohol seemed beyond him in Aaron's presence.

He felt lost—completely defeated.

Thor casually greeted Aaron and quickly ran off.

He had made up his mind: he would never compete with Aaron again.

The opponent was his complete nemesis.

Aaron paid no attention to Thor's reaction.

He knew that he was finally rid of this trouble.

The next time Thor would come to him was probably after obtaining the Storm Axe.

Mjolnir wasn't exactly Thor's true weapon.

His exclusive weapon was the Storm Axe.

Although it didn't have some of Mjolnir's abilities, it had stronger attack power and was more suited to Thor's divine power.

At that time, Thor would be at his peak.

His strength would be at least on the level of a sub-Heavenly Father, or even a Heavenly Father.

The only gap between him and Odin would likely be in magic, but his pure physical strength would be on par.

Even if Thor awakened his powers or obtained the Storm Axe ahead of time, he still wouldn't be able to stop Hela.

The reason was simple: Hela could no longer be killed by pure physical damage.

She was near-immortal, had high resilience, and possessed powerful spellcasting abilities capable of destroying Uru Metal.

To defeat Hela, Thor would need to use magic.

And with the magic Thor had mastered, defeating Hela was impossible.

The same went for defeating Aaron.

Moreover, the Storm Axe was nowhere to be seen—it wasn't even in the drawing stage yet.

It might take years before it was fully realized.

So for now, Aaron didn't have to worry about Thor challenging him again.

However, after dealing with Thor, Aaron was left with another problem to face.

Sif!

The Valkyrie sat on the sofa, carefully wiping her sword with a handkerchief. The gleaming blade reflected her rigid face.

She wasn't happy.

Though she was focused on cleaning the blade, her thoughts had already drifted elsewhere.

Earlier, she had been training outside as usual when Amora had staggered over to her.

Rubbing her stomach with one hand, Amora had muttered nonsensical words like "so full" and "so powerful."

Sif also overheard Amora complaining about how she had become something "inhuman," crazier than any beast.

She had begged for mercy, but Amora hadn't shown any.

Sif didn't understand all the details, but she wasn't naive. Asgard wasn't exactly secretive about these things, even if she didn't often get involved with other women.

She knew enough to realize that Amora had left in a hurry. And just yesterday...

Sif's face darkened as she remembered. She glanced sideways at Aaron, her gaze a bit dangerous.

Aaron, however, pretended to be calm, deeply engrossed in his studies, as if he hadn't heard what was going on outside the window.

As long as he didn't look at her, he could pretend not to know.

Meanwhile, Jean cleaned up.

In the tense silence that followed, the arrival of Gwen finally broke the atmosphere.

To save time, Gwen had used her webs to swing around the city, stopping only to study magic for a while.

She skillfully entered through the window and greeted everyone.

Even Sif, who had been distracted, put down her sword and responded to Gwen's warm greeting.

Gwen, seeing Aaron with his physics book, immediately focused on it.

"Hey, nuclear energy physics? Isn't that the kind of advanced physics professors talk about? Can you even understand it?" Gwen asked, surprised.

She had been lucky enough to read this book from Dr. Otto, and it was extremely complex. Even at university, only exceptionally gifted students could grasp parts of it.

Even Gwen herself only understood a little.

Seeing Aaron reading it now, she was stunned. Just last night, he had struggled through high school-level physics, but now, after just one day, he was tackling something so profound?

Unbelievable.

Soon, Gwen had to accept it: Aaron's knowledge of physics had surpassed hers.

When she asked him a few difficult questions that even she didn't know the answers to, Aaron answered effortlessly, leaving her speechless.

Her expressions—shock, suspicion, disbelief—flashed one after another.

Gwen had always been proud of her academic prowess. She was a top student, a model child, and her learning ability was top-notch.

But seeing Aaron, she realized that her own abilities weren't as impressive as she had thought.

She began to spiral into self-doubt.

"Don't be so surprised. Get used to it. If you knew how he first started learning magic, you'd realize that this is nothing." Sif spoke up, half to comfort, half to challenge.

"You should know it only took him a year to reach his current magical level. Compared to that, catching up on earthly sciences is trivial."

Gwen's mouth hung open.

My God. Not only was Aaron's magic ability overwhelming, but even his ability to learn physics was beyond anything she had imagined.

"Ahem, come on. You can become an excellent witch in the future," Aaron said, attempting to comfort Gwen, who was still stunned.

Gwen's magical ability wasn't very strong, but it was much greater than the average person's. After just one night, she had learned to perceive magic energy, something she could hardly believe.

Nodding absently, Gwen's mind began to race. If one night could push her physics knowledge to new heights, how long would it take her to catch up in magic?

Was it even possible?

"Next, I'll be busy for a while. I don't have much time to teach you magic. So, I'll create an energy duplicate to explain magic for now, and Amora will teach you some basics."

As he spoke, Aaron created an unconscious duplicate, investing a small part of his consciousness into it to give it some basic abilities. This duplicate would handle the teaching while he focused on other matters.

However, since it was only a fragment of his consciousness, it couldn't explain all the finer details of magic, so Amora would still step in as a teacher.

Gwen poked the duplicate, curious.

"Don't touch it," Aaron said, patting her head. "It's fake—just a bunch of energy with no real body."

Gwen shrank back, rubbing the spot where he had patted her.

Aaron then headed upstairs.

The search for Loki had intensified, but both Asgard and S.H.I.E.L.D. had found no trace of him. Holding the psychic scepter, Loki had seemingly vanished from Earth.

Everyone agreed that Loki was still hiding somewhere, plotting in secret.

But no one could pinpoint his location, so they eventually gave up.

Aaron, however, didn't care.

Loki's disappearance wasn't his problem.

He was focused on advancing his magic for his future plans.

The first area he focused on was pocket space magic. His energy storage space had become insufficient as he absorbed more and more energy.

Aaron didn't want to turn into an energy entity or risk getting trapped in a dimension.

The only way to increase his energy reserves was to upgrade his pocket space.

The upgrade from LV7 to LV8 had taken just over two months, during which Aaron had used Dormammu's energy, irritating the latter to no end.

Dormammu, furious at Aaron's constant abuse of his energy, had promised revenge. Still, Aaron had used this opportunity to advance his pocket space.

Next, he focused on Energy Absorption.

The synergy between Energy Absorption and pocket space magic was perfect.

By practicing pocket space magic, Aaron also boosted his Energy Absorption ability.

At LV8, his Energy Absorption magic made him more confident in dealing with lords of various dimensions.

Energy Absorption had many benefits. It not only absorbed and purified energy but also boosted Aaron's magical strength, making his spells more efficient.

With higher energy intensity, Aaron had an advantage in confrontations. His magic, especially when modeled after phoenix flames, became more powerful and realistic.

The improvement in Energy Absorption had a positive effect on his overall magical abilities.

Aaron also focused on studying energy-related subjects like physics and electrical engineering, improving his intelligence in the process. His intelligence had risen to 5, a result of balancing his magical studies with knowledge improvement.

Despite this, his strength remained at the Heavenly Father level, highlighting the enormous gap between that level and higher powers.

However, Aaron was confident that, given time, he would eventually break through to the next level.

"Next, it's time to accumulate," he muttered to himself.

Once he gathered enough energy, he could break through other magical barriers.

Aaron knew his magic power was already greater than Odin's and Ancient One's, but his need for magic far exceeded theirs.

His advanced magic required a terrifying amount of energy, and increasing his magical strength would be a massive undertaking.

Aaron was sure of one thing: his current energy wouldn't be enough to push his remaining magic to LV8.

For now, he would continue on his path to gather more energy, steadily progressing toward his goal.

Before all that, though, he had one last stop to make.

Aaron said his goodbyes to Jean and the others before heading to Kamar-Taj.

To take on the challenge of the lords in other dimensions, he would need Kamar-Taj's magical assistance to travel between worlds.

But Aaron had already considered upgrading his dimensional teleportation to bypass their magic circles in the future.

He entered Kamar-Taj, greeted with awe, and went straight to Ancient One.

"God of Magic, what brings you here?" Ancient One asked, looking at him.

"I need to go to the border of Hell," Aaron replied without hesitation.

"That's Velasco's territory. He's a dark necromancer with deep ties to the old gods. Are you sure you want to go after him?"

Ancient One confirmed.

Aaron nodded.

This was the goal he had set after much thought.

Velasco had once studied dark magic and had agreed to help the evil gods return to Earth in exchange for immense power and near-immortality.

In return, the old gods had transformed him into a special type of demon, giving him control over Limbo.

He was one of many pawns the old gods had placed in the world.

By confronting Velasco, Aaron would be confronting the old gods.

But Aaron had already offended them by killing the dark witch Agatha and taking the dark book, so he no longer felt any hesitation.

He wasn't just aiming to absorb energy; he also wanted to place a pawn in the dimensions, preparing for future encounters with the dimensional lords.

Seeing Aaron's determination, Ancient One didn't ask more questions.

She knew that Aaron wouldn't turn to darkness for power. His magic was strong enough without resorting to such measures.

"If you encounter trouble, contact me immediately, and I will pull you back," she warned.

"The soul body is vulnerable in the dimensional world. It can easily be eroded by negative energy, and those demons are adept at harming the soul."

With her help, Aaron's soul body was able to pass through the dimensional barrier.

He arrived in Limbo—a scorched wasteland, with lava flowing freely beside him.

Before he could take a good look at the place, a group of hideous demons surrounded him.

"This scent... A human necromancer!"

"He reeks of white magic!"

"He's an intruder! A white magician from the real universe!"

The demons quickly identified Aaron's aura and closed in.

Aaron didn't even bother to speak. He summoned the sacred sword of Emperor Weishan—a golden energy sword wrapped in mysterious runes and magical flames that burned with intensity.

It had additional damage against magical creatures, making it a perfect weapon against the demons.

Aaron dispatched them with ease, moving forward without pausing.

His sword cleaved through countless demons along the way.

Until he met someone who would change everything...
