CHAPTER 7:AWAKENING THE POWER WITHIN

Chapter 7: Awakening the Power Within

The morning sun cast a golden glow over the city as Akira sat at the dining table, savoring his breakfast. His mother watched him with pride, her eyes filled with warmth.

"Akira, you've been given an incredible gift," she said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Use it to protect people. Never let anyone die if you can help it."

Akira swallowed his last bite and nodded with determination. "I promise, Mom. I'll become strong enough to save everyone."

With those words, he grabbed his bag and rushed out the door, heading to Ryo's house, where the others had already gathered for training.

As he arrived, Yuuma smirked. "Oh, look who finally showed up. The scaredy-cat."

Akira's face turned red. "Stop calling me that!" he snapped, puffing up his chest in defiance.

The group laughed before turning serious. The tournament was only a few days away, and they needed to push themselves beyond their limits.

Ren had already mastered his Body Ring, increasing his physical strength to incredible levels. Akira, remembering his mother's words, clenched his fists. I have to get stronger.

He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and focused. He imagined the flow of energy surging through his veins, channeling it into his Water Ring.

Boom!

A surge of water erupted around him, wrapping his body in a powerful current. "I did it!" he exclaimed, his eyes wide with excitement.

Ren grinned. "Nice! Now keep that up!"

Meanwhile, Ryo struggled to control his energy. He had tried multiple times, but nothing worked. Watching his friends improve only made his frustration grow.

Hajime noticed and stepped in. "Ryo, power isn't just about strength. It starts from within. Close your eyes and listen to your body. Feel the energy flowing through you—your brain, your blood, everything."

Ryo obeyed, shutting his eyes. He concentrated harder than ever, recalling everything that had led him to this point. The moment he found the ring. The battles they fought. The responsibility he now carried.

I have to do this... I have to!

BAM!

A brilliant light exploded from Ryo's body, illuminating the entire area. His aura felt overwhelming, unlike anything they had ever sensed before.

Hajime stepped back. "Whoa… this energy… it's completely different!"

Ren's eyes widened. "That's insane! What is this power?!"

Ryo opened his glowing eyes, clenching his fists as energy surged through him. A confident smile formed on his face. "This… this feels incredible!"

Excited, Akira charged forward and threw a punch at Ryo, but Ryo effortlessly dodged. "Not this time!"

Akira groaned. "Ugh! Come on!"

One by one, they tested their powers against each other. Akira formed Water Fists, Hajime unleashed a Fire Tornado, Ren turned himself into a massive Bowling Ball, and Ryo swung his arm, releasing a Light Slash.

Their techniques became more refined, their abilities sharper. They trained relentlessly—day and night—pushing themselves beyond their limits.

The tournament was drawing closer, and soon, they would have to face other Ringborns.

But for now, they trained, preparing for the battles that awaited them.
