Jason Carter had never been the kind of guy who took things easy. His life was a collection of fast punches and reckless decisions. A street brawler at heart, he had always been searching for something more than just fighting. He had a fire in him, something that couldn't be extinguished. Unfortunately, that fire led him to an untimely death
There's a lot about this story that makes me both like and dislike it. I don't even know how I feel about it. Basically, the writing is great, the idea, despite not being the most original, is welcome and the love interest is none other than Alex Dunphy, so no complaints here. Now, there's a lot of drama. Like drama and then more drama. The guy has a thirst for violence. A lot of it. On the first day of school, he beats up a kid just because he wanted to. And there was a lot of identity crisis. He and other people think they're monsters and blah, blah, blah. He wanted a supportive family, but there's barely any footage of them interacting as such. There are several little things that I like and also don't like, but that's up to the reader.
This is not a Modern Family fanfiction, its just there are people with the same names as Modern Family. from the very first chapter the expectation for the story was lowered because of MC's wasted first two wishes. then every chapter where there was a Dunphy mentioned it was absolute Cringe-fest. i don't know how but somehow the author was able to make already existing characters lifeless. (also MC is an edge-lord who can't control his urges, who always seek violence and obsessed about Alex not in a good way)
This is the one of the best modern family novel ever. Thank you for writing this.
Great work.............................................................................................................................................
I really hope you will also continue this story, they way he fights and has to control him self I really like it. Looking forward to new chapters if possible.
