Chapters 3 The Cupids Mission

Wind stormed out of the headmaster's office, barely registering the amused whispers from students passing by. His jaw clenched as he stomped down the hallway. Behind him, Sea followed, equally frustrated.

"Great. Just great," Wind muttered under his breath. "First, I get into a fight with him, and now I have to be paired up with him for every damn assessment?"

Sea scoffed. "Oh, like I wanted this? You threw the first punch, genius."

Wind whirled around to snap at him, but the moment their eyes met, he hesitated. For the first time since their ridiculous fight, Wind really looked at Sea. His uniform was still slightly wrinkled from the scuffle, his lips faintly bruised.

And suddenly Wind's heart did something weird . A small, unfamiliar flutter.

What the hell?

Wind quickly tore his gaze away, scowling. "Whatever. Just stay out of my way."

"Gladly," Sea retorted, shoving past him.

As he walked off, Wind exhaled sharply, ignoring the way his chest felt tight.

Unbeknownst to Wind and Sea, their little incident had gone viral.

Autumn scrolled through her phone, eyes widening as she read the captions under multiple photos of their fight and accidental kiss.

"Did anyone else see that? 👀"

"Enemies to lovers arc, I'm telling you!!"

"Wind and Sea's chemistry is insane???"

Autumn gasped dramatically and slammed her phone onto the lunch table. "MAY! Have you seen this?!"

May leaned over, eyes scanning the screen. A slow grin spread across her face.

"Oh, this is gold."

Autumn leaned in, whispering excitedly. "People are eating this up. We can't waste this moment."

May smirked. "You're thinking what I'm thinking?"

Autumn nodded eagerly. "Operation Make Wind and Sea Fall in Love."

Autumn and May had been best friends since high school. Ever since they met Wind and Sea, they had noticed something.

Sure, the two claimed to hate each other. Sure, they fought like cats and dogs. But there was always something different about their rivalry.

The way Wind got extra riled up when Sea was around.

The way Sea always had a comeback ready for Wind.

The way they just couldn't ignore each other.

So Autumn and May had a theory.

Wind and Sea weren't just rivals.

They were soulmates in denial.

And this? This was their chance to prove it.

While Autumn and May plotted, Wind and Sea were having a crisis.

Wind thought way too much about what happened. His mind kept flashing back to the accidental kiss the warmth, the way Sea's eyes had widened in shock.

Every time he remembered it, his heart skipped a beat.

And Sea? He was no better.

Every time he saw Wind, his face heated up. Every time someone mentioned what happened, he felt a weird mix of embarrassment and... something else.

They weren't ready to admit it, but Something was changing.

And Autumn and May?

They were ready to make sure it changed even more.
