Chapter 12: The Fierce Battle*
Darkness and cold waves spread around the monastery. Black clouds swirled rapidly in the sky, and a strange odor filled the air. This was the arrival of the Dark Lord.
Lukman quickly flipped through the pages of the scripture. His fingers trembled with energy. Every page pointed to a new lesson. "Lukman, hurry up! The Dark Lord's energy is growing stronger here. He's coming for us," Rahmat said anxiously. "It says here — the way to control the Will Energy is to connect it with the depths of your heart. Its true source is your intention and faith," Lukman read aloud. "Can you fully control it now?" Rahmat asked hopefully. "I'll try. If I fail, he'll destroy us," Lukman said resolutely.
Suddenly, a thunderous roar echoed. The monastery walls shook, and a massive figure emerged from the black clouds. The Dark Lord revealed his true form. "So you thought you could escape me, Lukman?" the Dark Lord's deep, ominous voice boomed. "I'm not running from you. I'm ready to fight," Lukman said confidently. "Your power will destroy you. You're too inexperienced to control it," the Dark Lord sneered, unleashing a wave of dark energy. Lukman focused his energy and attempted to use the techniques he learned from the scripture. His eyes glowed, and his body was enveloped in a golden light. "Come, Dark Lord! Today I'll show you what the Will Energy can do," Lukman challenged. The Dark Lord summoned a storm of dark arrows, each carrying destructive power. Lukman created a shield with his hands, trying to deflect the arrows. Some bounced off, but others wounded him. "Your power is still incomplete, Lukman!" the Dark Lord laughed, his dark energy intensifying. Lukman ignored his wounds and concentrated his power further. He clasped his hands together, unleashing a brilliant beam of light. The beam clashed with the Dark Lord's energy, but it was far more powerful. "How... how is this possible?" the Dark Lord groaned in pain. "Because this power is not just for me, but for all those who want to use it correctly," Lukman said firmly. The Dark Lord's dark form began to dissipate, and he eventually vanished. His voice faded away. Lukman and Rahmat took deep breaths. The air around the monastery was now clear and calm. "Is... is it really over?" Rahmat asked incredulously. "Yes. But this is just the beginning," Lukman said gravely. "We've defeated the Dark Lord, but there's still much to learn about this energy. And maybe... there are more enemies who'll try to claim it." Lukman carefully preserved the scripture and vowed to understand the booklet better. His goal was no longer just survival, but to comprehend the true meaning of the Will Energy and use it for the right purpose.
