Chapter 36- Regret

Regina's tears flowed even more violently. She wanted to escape, her hands flailing wildly. When her fingers brushed against an ashtray, she acted on instinct—grabbing it and swinging it toward Waldo's head without hesitation… 

But who was Waldo? Even in such a situation, not a single one of Regina's actions escaped his heightened senses. With a swift motion, his large hand seized her wrist, effortlessly stopping her attack. At the same time, his lips withdrew from hers—yet a trace of blood now stained both their mouths. In that moment, it was impossible to tell whose lips had been torn open in that kiss that was never meant to be a kiss. 

As Waldo held her wrist, his wolf-like eyes darkened, and his grip tightened. A dreadful pressure radiated from him, making Regina feel as if he could crush the delicate bones in her wrist with ease…
