Chapter132-Under the Blood-Red Moon

Cecilia stepped out gracefully, wrapped in a blush-pink cashmere dress and soft white cloak. Her white boots clicked softly against the pavement. She smiled gently, her tone light as air.

"First?" she asked.

Waldo nodded. "They just received a shipment of top-grade foie gras. I had them set some aside for you."

As he spoke, he carefully guided her hand into the crook of his arm. He could feel the slight tension in her fingers, and his voice softened.

"I'll walk you in. Just follow my lead, alright?"

Cecilia hesitated, her lashes trembling. Then she gave the faintest nod.

The restaurant manager appeared swiftly, bowing slightly as he approached.

"Mr. Waldo, Miss Cecilia. Welcome. Your usual table is ready."

He gestured courteously. "Shall I begin serving the courses you ordered?"

"Yes," Waldo replied curtly, then added without looking up, "Bring the bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon I left here."

"Of course. Right away."
