**Marvel: Let Me Touch Your Weapon**

"Then you should think about it. When an unexpected enemy appears one day and threatens the safety of the entire world, what will you do?"

"Hey, Jarvis, order me a large pizza. I'm starving."

Tony ignored Nick Fury completely and asked Jarvis to order takeout instead.

Seeing Tony like this, Nick Fury asked again, "What would you do...?"

"Oh, haven't you already asked that once?"

Before Fury could finish, Tony interrupted him, looking at him like he was an idiot.

This time, Fury didn't say anything. He just waited silently for Tony to speak first.

After a few seconds, Tony finally opened his mouth.

"Oh, by the way, Jarvis, don't forget to add two cheeseburgers and drinks."

Still no answer to Fury's question. Only after giving his order did Tony finally turn back to Fury.

"What were you asking again?"

He rubbed his chin, pretending to think.

"Oh, right — what to do if an enemy shows up? Easy. Find their tracks and take them down. What else is there to do?"

Fury stared at Tony carefully before replying.

"And what if you can't beat them?"

"Then I'll find someone who can."

Fury leaned in closer.

"And what if none of you can defeat them?"

Tony paused, unsure whether Fury's words actually made him think or if it was just Fury's presence pressing down on him. After a moment, Tony muttered, his voice quieter:

"I have the most powerful weapon in the world… and I can build new ones based on their weaknesses..."

"See?" Fury cut in. "You're not so confident anymore. Looks like you're already thinking about what happens if you can't win. That's exactly why the Avengers Initiative exists."

Tony stayed silent, watching Fury.

"That's what I mean," Fury continued. "When we're beaten down, we still won't give up. We'll stand together and fight. If we fail… well, that's why we'd be called Avengers."

Tony didn't respond right away, lost in thought.

Finally, Jarvis spoke up:

"Sir, your takeout has arrived."

Fury stood up, gave Tony a small nod, and left.

Moments later, Pepper walked in holding the takeout bag. She raised it with a questioning look.

"Tony, you're awake. Did you order this?"

Hearing her voice, Tony snapped out of his thoughts.

"Oh… yeah, that's right. I ordered it. Where've you been?"

"I went to the company to handle some things this afternoon," Pepper explained. "I just got back."

Tony opened the package, offered Pepper a slice of pizza, and took one for himself.

After a few bites, Pepper suddenly remembered something.

"Tony, did you call Yinsen?"

Tony froze mid-bite. Clearly, he hadn't.

"Jarvis, tell Yinsen to come down for pizza."

"Understood, sir," Jarvis replied.

Once they'd finished eating, Pepper and Yinsen headed to bed, leaving Tony alone in the dimly lit living room. He sat silently in front of the large window, still thinking about Fury's words.

As Tony brooded, a glowing blue portal appeared behind him, and Kai stepped out.

Seeing Tony's troubled expression, Kai immediately knew Nick Fury must have visited him too.

Tony heard the noise behind him and turned around. When he saw Kai, he asked:

"Kai, what are you doing here so late?"

Kai grabbed a bottle of wine, poured Tony a glass, and sat down beside him.

"Look at you. If I hadn't come over, would you really be sitting here brooding over what that one-eyed guy said?"

Tony smirked.

"What, you mean Fury? He showed up to talk to you too? What'd he say?"

Kai gestured for Tony to calm down.

"Yeah, he came to see me. But what he told me was probably different from what he told you. After all, I'm just some regular guy who happened to get abilities. He wanted me to join S.H.I.E.L.D. — work for him, basically."

Tony raised an eyebrow, surprised.

"You? Working for S.H.I.E.L.D.? Yeah, I can't see that happening."

Kai chuckled.

"Of course not. I tossed him and his agents out the door and warned him not to bother me again unless he wanted trouble."

"Ha! Knew you'd turn him down." Tony laughed, but then asked, "But why did you tell me not to believe what he said? Honestly… what he said kind of made sense."

Kai leaned back.

"You think it makes sense because he's assuming the enemy is unbeatable. But tell me… is there really such a thing as an unbeatable enemy?"

Tony didn't have an answer for that.

"My point is," Kai continued, "don't waste too much time worrying about enemies that haven't even appeared yet."

Kai knew how things would unfold in this world — the threats would come one by one, and somehow, they'd always find a way through. But he couldn't exactly tell Tony that.

"You can't guard against everything 24/7. Just focus on improving your own abilities. That way, when trouble comes, you'll be ready. Fury's mistake is thinking we'll definitely lose, so he's already preparing for revenge."

Kai's words were firm, filled with confidence — after all, he had the system on his side. But he wasn't sure how much that confidence would rub off on Tony.

After thinking for a moment, Kai decided to share something more personal.

"Tony, listen… you know my abilities. So tell me… do I look like someone with weaknesses right now?"
