The cursed warrior hurled a black hole bomb at Loki and Tony. Loki immediately recognized it—it was a dark elf black hole bomb, capable of generating a small black hole that would consume everything around it before vanishing.
"Run!" Loki shouted, turning to flee.
But the bomb's gravitational pull was immense. Loki was lifted off the ground, drawn toward the forming singularity. Just as he was about to be pulled in, Tony rocketed in from the side, tackling Loki out of the black hole's range.
Meanwhile, Kai and Thor were locked in battle with Malekith when the cursed warrior, having temporarily driven off Loki and Tony, turned back to aid Malekith.
Seeing the new threat, Kai and Thor had no choice but to deal with the cursed warrior first.
Taking advantage of the distraction, Malekith retreated to his ship, which then cloaked itself and departed, leaving the cursed warrior behind to cover his escape.
Thor engaged the cursed warrior in close combat, exchanging powerful blows. Kai, enhancing his strength with spatial energy, joined Thor in the fight. Working together, they managed to knock the cursed warrior to the ground. Kai then opened a spatial portal, slicing the cursed warrior clean in half.
Thor, staring at the bisected foe, turned to Kai and gave him a thumbs-up. "Wow, Kai, that move was insane! Hard to defend against!"
Kai chuckled. "I should've used it earlier."
On the other side of the battlefield, Tony had just saved Loki, and the two of them were now fending off waves of dark elf soldiers. As Tony prepared to fire his repulsors at an incoming group, a sudden energy beam struck the elves first, eliminating them instantly.
Startled, Tony hesitated—he hadn't fired that shot. Turning to see where it came from, he spotted Kai lowering his hand.
"Hey! That was my target! You stole my kill!" Tony shouted.
Kai simply shrugged and gestured for Tony to continue.
Realizing Kai was just helping, Tony let it slide and refocused on the battle. With the enemies rapidly dwindling, the group soon wiped out the remaining dark elves and regrouped to find Jane, who had fled earlier.
Although they had successfully removed the Aether from Jane, they had failed to destroy it, allowing Malekith to reclaim it and escape.
As they discussed their next move, the environment of the Dark World became increasingly unstable and hostile. With no other options, they found a cave to take shelter in.
Once inside, Jane spoke first. "Malekith will unleash the Aether. He's not just trying to destroy Asgard or a single planet—he wants to wipe out everything."
After a moment of thought, she continued, "I saw it in my memory. He's taking the Aether to Earth."
"Why Earth?" Jane asked.
"Because of the Convergence," Thor answered grimly.
Jane's face fell. "Oh my god... If only I hadn't found the Aether!" She buried her face in her hands, overwhelmed with guilt.
Thor stepped forward to reassure her. "Even if you hadn't, it would've only delayed Malekith. He still would've found it."
Jane looked up at him. "I found the Aether while searching for you. And now we're trapped here."
Kai shook his head. "I wouldn't say we're trapped. To be precise, we're not trapped at all."
Tony blinked. "Wait, Kai, you mean… from this distance?"
Kai nodded. Seeing his confirmation, Tony broke into a grin. "Well, that makes things easier."
Thor and the others glanced between the two, clearly confused.
Kai noticed their puzzled expressions and explained, "What I mean is, I can use my abilities to get us out of here. Now you all just need to decide—do we stay, or do we leave?"
Thor looked at him seriously. "You're certain?"
Kai nodded.
Thor turned to Jane, who immediately said, "Then let's go. Take us back to Earth."
"Alright," Kai agreed, opening a portal that led directly to London. Without hesitation, they all stepped through.
As they passed through the portal, Loki observed the familiar energy and couldn't help but wonder—why did an Earthling like Kai possess such a power, and why was he so proficient with it? However, now wasn't the time for questions, so he kept his thoughts to himself.
On the other side, Jane immediately recognized the location—it was where Thor had first taken her to Asgard. Finding a nearby car, she drove the group to her laboratory to find Darcy.
Upon arrival, Jane spotted Darcy inside, analyzing data. Without hesitation, she ran up and hugged her.
Darcy, startled, glanced at Jane's Asgardian attire and raised an eyebrow. "Jane… did you go to a costume party? And also, you kinda disappeared. Oh, and the world is going nuts—like, crazy stuff happening all over the place!"
Jane turned to see Selvig nearby. "Hi, Erik. Long time no see!"
Selvig looked up, surprised. "Jane! Thank goodness you're alright!" He rushed over and hugged her.
Then, noticing her Asgardian outfit, he asked, "Wait… did you go to Asgard?"
Jane was about to answer when she noticed something odd—Selvig wasn't wearing any pants.
"Uh… where are your pants?" she asked.
Her intern chimed in, "He said it helps him think."
Jane shook her head but refocused. "Okay, I need all of your research—everything on the gravitational anomalies and the Convergence."
