Thor stood his ground, gripping Mjolnir tightly. "I will not die by your hands!"
Malekith sneered. "Your universe should not exist. Your people, your family—everything will be wiped out."
His anger flared, and with a wave of his hand, the Aether surged forward, striking Thor and sending him crashing backward. Loki barely dodged to the side.
From a distance, Kai and the others saw what was happening. Without hesitation, they sprang into action, engaging Malekith's forces. They knew that Malekith himself would have to be dealt with by Thor and Kai, so they focused on eliminating his soldiers.
Before Malekith could react, Thor and Kai had already closed in on him. He could only watch as his army fell one by one.
Fury twisted his expression. With a roar, he unleashed a blast of Aether energy, sending Kai and the others flying.

From her vantage point on a rooftop, Jane saw the battle unfold. She turned to Selvig. "We need to speed up! We're running out of time!"
Selvig hesitated, watching her work. "Are you sure this will even work? My equipment is designed to detect anomalies, not create them."
Jane didn't stop. Adjusting the controls, she called out, "Daisy, hurry up! Just a few more to go!"
---
Thor summoned lightning, clashing with Malekith. But even with Mjolnir, he was struggling to keep up.
Kai interfered using magic, firing energy blasts to disrupt Malekith's movements. He hadn't yet revealed his ability to replicate weapons, and he knew he couldn't manipulate Aether energy barehanded—at least not yet. So, he used precise magical attacks to throw Malekith off balance.
Watching Thor get knocked back again and again, Kai realized they needed a new approach. He smirked and taunted, "I thought wielding the Aether would make you stronger. This is disappointing."
Thor, still catching his breath, glanced at Kai in disbelief. His expression said it all—*Brother, I'm the one getting beaten here, and you're out here provoking him?*
But Malekith took the bait, shifting his focus away from Thor as he prepared a massive attack.
Kai caught Thor's eye and gave a quick nod. Understanding the signal, Thor hurled Mjolnir at the swirling Aether energy while Kai fired three consecutive energy blasts.
The combined attack sent Malekith flying, slamming through several cars before he finally came to a stop. He was injured.
Kai and Thor wasted no time. While Malekith was vulnerable, they pressed their attack, striking in perfect coordination.

Meanwhile, Daisy plugged in the last piece of equipment. Jane immediately activated the system.
All around the battlefield, dark elf soldiers suddenly vanished—teleported away.
Daisy's eyes widened. "Whoa! That's awesome! How did you do that?"
Jane kept working. "The gravitational fields interact with the weak points of convergence between realms. It allows us to manipulate space."
Glancing at the timer, she noted they had **eight minutes** until the peak of the celestial alignment. If they could hold out, she had a way to stop Malekith.
---
Outside, the battle raged on.
Just as Malekith was beginning to recover, SHIELD fighter jets and British Air Force planes arrived. They locked onto the dark elf warship and launched a barrage of missiles.
But as the missiles neared their target, something strange happened—their trajectories suddenly shifted, veering upward and disappearing into the sky above Greenwich.
As the Convergence neared its peak, massive shadows of other realms appeared in the sky. Space itself bent, forming portals that connected to different worlds.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Malekith broke away from his fight with Thor and Kai. He moved to the center of the square, raising his arms as the Aether began to surge through the portals, linking the Nine Realms.
Jane rushed forward, backpack in hand. Thor turned to her. "Will this work?"
Jane shook her head. "Not unless we get close enough."
Kai stepped in. "That's not a problem. I'll handle that."
Taking the device, Kai teleported directly into the heart of the storm.
---
Malekith spotted him, frowning. "You're not an Asgardian… just a mortal from Earth?"
Kai didn't respond. Instead, he tossed the device at Malekith. Instinctively, Malekith caught it.
Jane activated it.
A surge of energy erupted, and in an instant, Malekith's right arm was teleported away—to the Dark World.
Roaring in pain, he stumbled. But before he could react, Kai teleported another device to his left arm—removing it as well.
Malekith glared at him. "Do you think this will stop me? The Aether cannot be destroyed!"
As he spoke, the Aether surged around him, reforming his lost limbs.
Kai smirked. "Oh, really?"
He reached into the air and pulled something from a pocket dimension—another Aether particle.
Malekith's eyes widened. "H-how…?!"
Kai stepped closer. "Don't worry about it. Worry about yourself."
With a flick of his hand, he activated the space-folding energy. Malekith tried to dodge, but Kai was already one step ahead. He fired an energy cannon—hitting Malekith dead center.
Malekith barely had time to scream before Kai unleashed a final, concentrated blast. The power of space twisted around him, Killing him on the spot.
