Hospital Visit

-------

Just as Happy was trying hard to grab the dog tags, Savin next to him was also unable to escape the range of the explosion and was injured.

But after he recovered, he was able to stand up and walk unsteadily.

Under Happy's gaze, Savin walked step by step, his movements becoming steadier until all his injuries were healed. Then, as if nothing had happened, he left the scene.

Happy failed to grab the dog tag and fainted on the spot.

The next day, the Mandarin hijacked the TV signal again, taking responsibility for the explosion and saying, "I know it's frustrating, but this season of terror is coming to an end. But don't worry, the best is yet to come!"

After watching the Mandarin's speech on TV, Kai received a call from Tony and rushed to the hospital.

Pushing open the door, he saw Happy wrapped in bandages and Tony sitting at the back, watching TV. Kai asked softly, "Hey, Tony, how is Happy?"

Tony raised his head, his eyes bloodshot. Seeing this, Kai knew Tony was taking this hard—Happy had been by his side for a long time.

"Oh, Kai, you're here. Happy's stable. The doctor said his life isn't in danger."

Kai walked to the foot of Happy's bed, observing him closely. Tony continued, "I called you here because I need your help. Can you treat Happy, Kai? Please."

It had been a long time since Tony had asked for help like this. "Tony, don't worry. Leave it to me."

Kai took out his magic wand and cast several healing spells, mending Happy's external and internal injuries as well as his fractured bones.

Under Tony's gaze, Happy's complexion regained color.

Lowering his wand, Kai said, "I've healed most of his injuries. He should wake up soon."

"Oh, Kai, thank you so much!"

Tony invited Kai to sit down. The seat faced the TV, where a show was playing.

Seeing Kai glance at it, Tony explained, "It's Downton Abbey—Happy's favorite. He thinks it's very elegant."

Kai knew Happy's injury had completely enraged Tony. After asking for more details, he found that Tony didn't have much information—only Happy could fill in the blanks once he woke up.

After waiting a while, though Happy still hadn't woken, his vitals had stabilized. Tony left the hospital, feeling more at ease.

Outside, a reporter approached, eager to interview him. "Mr. Stark, sources say the attack was orchestrated by the Mandarin. What do you have to say?"

Kai wanted to pull Tony away, but Tony insisted on responding. So Kai stood by and watched the interview unfold.

"I want to send a little holiday greeting to the Mandarin," Tony said. "I just thought of the wording. I am Tony Stark. I am not afraid of you. I know you're a coward, so I've decided to destroy you. Buddy, I will personally come to collect your body."

"None of this is political. It's just good old-fashioned revenge—just you and me. If you're still a man, remember my address: Malibu. My door is always open."

After finishing, Tony smashed the reporter's phone, promised to compensate him, and left with Kai.

Back at the villa, Tony asked Jarvis to compile all available information on the Mandarin. "Sir, the sorted data comes from SHIELD, the FBI, and the CIA. Now recreating the virtual crime scene."

Jarvis projected a simulation, analyzing the explosion. "The heat generated at the scene exceeded 3000 degrees Celsius. Objects within 12.5 yards were instantly vaporized."

As Jarvis played out the scene, Tony asked, "No bomb fragments within a three-mile radius?"

"None, sir."

Kai then pointed at the virtual Happy. "Tony, look at where he was focusing in his final moments. What was he looking at?"

Tony followed the trajectory of Happy's gaze. Jarvis extended the projection along that line until it intersected with an object: a dog tag.

Zooming in, Tony read the name: "Jack Taggart." A soldier.

"Jarvis, were there any recorded military casualties at the scene?"

"No public record, sir."

That was the clue Tony needed. "Overlay the heat source image from the incident and add the 3000-degree marker."

Using cloud computing, Jarvis displayed heat signature data for the past year, highlighting another similar event labeled as a bombing attack.

Tony turned to Kai. "Ever been to Tennessee?"

Seeing Kai shake his head, Jarvis responded, "Sir, a flight to Tennessee has been arranged."

Just then, the villa's doorbell rang. Tony groaned. "Are you serious? We still have visitors? Shouldn't we be on high alert? I just threatened a terrorist!"

Tony turned to Jarvis. "Who is it?"

"There's nothing I can do, sir. You gave your address to reporters worldwide."

Outside, helicopters circled, trying to capture photos of the interior.

Tony looked at Kai, who simply shrugged. It was Tony's mess to deal with.

Sighing, Tony donned his suit and answered the door. But he didn't let the visitor wander—he kept the meeting strictly in the living room.
