Chapter 5: The Dragons secret

*Chapter 5: The Dragon's Secret*

Aria couldn't take her eyes off Thunder. The dragon's scales glistened in the moonlight, and its eyes seemed to hold a deep wisdom.

Professor Orion smiled, noticing Aria's fascination. "Thunder is a special dragon," they said. "He has the ability to communicate with humans telepathically."

Aria's eyes widened in amazement. "Really?" she asked, looking at Thunder with newfound wonder.

Thunder nodded its great head, and Aria felt a sudden surge of thoughts and emotions flood her mind.

"Whoa," she said, stumbling backward. "That's intense."

Professor Orion chuckled. "It takes some getting used to," they said. "But Thunder is a gentle soul. He means no harm."

Aria took a deep breath, focusing on the thoughts and emotions flooding her mind. She began to make out words and phrases, and suddenly, she was having a conversation with Thunder.

"Why did you save us?" Aria asked, her mind linked with Thunder's.

"I have been watching you, Aria," Thunder replied, its voice echoing in her mind. "I sense that you have a crucial role to play in the fate of our world."

Aria's eyes widened in surprise. "What do you mean?" she asked.

But Thunder's response was cut off by a loud rumbling noise. The ground began to shake, and the trees trembled.

"What's happening?" Aria asked, looking around in alarm.

Professor Orion's face was grim. "It's the Shadow Syndicate," they said. "They're launching a magical attack on the school."

Thunder spread its wings, ready to take flight. "We must go," it said, its voice urgent. "We have to protect the school."

Aria nodded, feeling a surge of determination. She was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
