Chapter 1

THE ORIGIN

I just got back from school, it was hot and sunny outside, sweat rolled slowly from my head down to my eye brow; almost got into my eyes then I picked up my face towel and wiped it out, took off my clothes and had a quick shower, rested a bit and had lunch. At the sound of the alarm clock up the wall I knew it was time for my siblings' arrival.

Raised by my mother's sister and so "my siblings" were her kids. They got in, had their bath and Annie - the eldest of her children said they would love to eat, she got into the kitchen got what was kept for them and walked to the dining table; the little ones followed her to the table.Excited because we were moving out of that house to our new home, for the first time Annie helped arrange the house; telling me about her class mate that got into a fight because of money and ended up being expelled, the laughter continued and before you know it the others had slept off. "Dora!" She called from inside screaming with excitement in her voice, "what!"-- with the same energy and excitement I asked then she said in anticipation mom would be back soon to pack all our stuffs and I'm so excited, I looked at her and said ready to breathe in a different air. About an hour later the door bell rang, we stood up and stormed to the door to see who it is, "its mom" Lucy yelled--- the last daughter of their family; mom was back from her store earlier than usual today to get the things ready to be moved, she got in they all hugged and greeted her, I greeted her too." I can't have my bath now because I'm still going to sweat more from all the packing, get all the boxes ready for me Dora" mom said, I got up and went to get the boxes; Annie, Lucy and Grace came along---- the second daughter of their house.

After much packing we were finally done, our voices echoed in the walls as we spoke that night because of the emptiness, the skies darkened up; it was late. Few hours later dad was home, we all had dinner and went to bed. It felt like there was a Ray of light pointed towards my eyes they were too lazy to open, given that I was tired from all the previous day's work but I just had to. "Finally!" It's the D-day said to myself, went to greet mom and dad then she asked me to wake everyone and get everyone to bath before the truck comes to move our stuff, after I did that I got into the shower turning the water on; a drop of it was as cold as ice on my body though I didn't really care because I was excited, I was done bathing in a jiffy rushed into the room with my dripping wet body and grabbed my towel to clean because I could already hear the sound of the truck. Done dressing up and getting ready I came out filled with euphoria and energy, they were already loading the truck with our stuffs. Mom asked us to get into the car with a few bags we packed and in no time we were on the road.

It was about an hour drive from our old house given that there was a little traffic jam but we arrived here.
