Wald chuckled.
"My money's on my ship. If you want, you can come with me to collect it."
The clerk's smile faltered.
"Sir… you're not planning to pay, are you?"
Before he could react—
SHING!!!
One of Byrnndi Wald's men slashed the clerk in half.
Blood splattered across the floor.
Wald laughed.
"Looks like you won't be seeing my ship after all. What a shame."
His crew quickly began gathering the auctioned items.
It was clear now—Byrnndi Wald was going to take everything by force.
But before he could leave—
"Wait."
Two voices rang out at the same time.
Ayr turned his head slightly, surprised.
Beside him, Kaido had also stood up.
Ayr hadn't expected the future Beast King to make a move.
However, he didn't dwell on it.
He simply locked eyes with Byrnndi Wald and spoke calmly:
"You can take anything else.
But the Supreme Grade Blade and the Devil Fruits… those stay with me."
