What Rank Will Kael Achieve?

"Kael is finally making his move! Has he run out of patience and decided to compete for the Void Ranking?" someone exclaimed, their eyes locked onto Kael as he stepped forward.

"I wonder where Kael will place on the Void Ranking…" The crowd buzzed with curiosity.

With both Kael and Einar appearing, Kael had now been thrust into the spotlight.

Yet, in the eyes of many, Kael was merely a sudden upstart. They had no real grasp of his strength—just how powerful he was, how terrifying his talent might be, remained a mystery. Some even suspected that his victory over Einar might have been a fluke. After all, throughout the continent's history, there had been countless geniuses who shone brightly for a moment, only to fade into mediocrity, never again displaying their former brilliance.

And Kael… might very well follow the same path.

Kael coldly observed their expressions, a faint, indifferent smile playing on his lips. He could roughly guess their thoughts, but he paid them no mind.

Strength would prove everything.

With a whoosh, Kael's figure blurred as he vanished into the Void Tower.

Outside the tower, Sha Sha wrinkled her nose and huffed, **"Hmph! Who knows how high he'll rank? Definitely not higher than you, Senior Sister!"** Kael's earlier disregard had left her slightly miffed, and she couldn't help but mutter under her breath.

Solmer, however, shook her head, her gaze complex. **"No… I can't see through his strength. Kael is likely at least eleventh-tier. Among the geniuses of the three continents, few could surpass him. He's undoubtedly on the same level as Einar."**

Sha Sha pouted, still somewhat skeptical.

In the distance, the five Half-Step Legends also flickered with interest, their eyes sharpening as they took notice of Kael. Their vision far surpassed that of ordinary onlookers, and they immediately recognized his extraordinary nature.

"This young man's strength is remarkable. To reach the eleventh-tier at such a young age… If he continues growing, he might one day rival us," chuckled one of the five—an elderly man who appeared to be in his fifties, his eyes gleaming with intrigue. He was the eldest among them, known as Ross.

"Ross, don't jump to conclusions. He's just a youngster, and barely at the early eleventh-tier at that. Hardly worth concern," retorted another—a cold-faced middle-aged man whose tone dripped with arrogance. He held nothing but disdain for the younger generation, Kael included.

"We'll see soon enough..." The elderly man named Ross chuckled, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.

Inside the Void Tower

The moment Kael stepped into the Void Tower, his vision darkened abruptly. In an instant, he found himself in a strange, misty-gray space—devoid of any discernible aura, much like a pocket dimension created by a tenth-tier expert. Yet the rules governing this place were far more profound and unique.

"This must be some kind of mental realm..." Kael quickly assessed.

Suddenly, a faint silhouette materialized before him.

Clad in a striking white robe, the phantom was eye-catching, though its features remained indistinct—only the vague outline of a human figure. From its posture, Kael could barely discern that it was male.

Without warning, the white-robed mage's phantom moved. A surge of mana erupted from it like a tidal wave as it began chanting incantations, locking onto Kael with a spell.

"Overestimating yourself."

Behind Kael, the Wings of the Wind God burst forth, propelling him with ethereal swiftness. His body became as light as the breeze, darting away in an instant.

The white-robed mage's rapid spellcasting made Kael frown.

BOOM!

Flames erupted from the mage's body. With a flick of its staff, it unleashed a torrent of magical fire toward Kael.

"A fire mage, of all things?" A peculiar smile tugged at Kael's lips. This opponent actually specialized in fire magic?

But to use fire against him...

A cold glint flashed in Kael's eyes as he raised his own staff. The Crimson Moon Runeshimmered, and ice-blue flames coalesced, erupting from the ground in a devastating pillar.

The inferno roared, swallowing the white-robed mage's spells whole—then the mage itself.

The phantom flickered... and vanished without a trace.

With the mage gone, Kael had cleared the first trial. The scenery shifted subtly, and a staircase materialized before him, leading upward.

"So this is the first floor's test. Simple enough, but it'll only get harder from here."

Not that it mattered to him.

A confident smile curled on Kael's lips as he strode toward the next level of the Void Tower.

Upon entering the second floor, the scenery shifted once more.

Before him suddenly appeared a dozen stunning beauties—each one a peerless vision of allure.

Clad in translucent white gauze that clung to their curves, their exposed snow-white skin shimmered tantalizingly, with even their most intimate areas faintly visible. The flimsy fabric did nothing to conceal their charms, instead amplifying their seduction to maddening levels.

The women moved with ethereal grace, floating midair as they danced—their bodies undulating in hypnotic rhythm, their eyes smoldering with longing as they gazed at Kael. A single moment of carelessness, and any man would be ensnared by their spell.

One by one, they began shedding their already-scanty garments, peeling away layers with each twirl.

For ordinary men, such a sight would set hearts racing, mouths parched, and primal instincts aflame—reducing them to ravenous beasts desperate to pounce.

Yet Kael remained utterly unmoved.

"A test of mental fortitude, is it?" he murmured coolly.

Indeed, he had already discerned the trial's true nature.

These beauties were mere illusions, conjured by the mental realm. Though intoxicating, they were nothing but phantoms. Should Kael succumb to desire, he would plunge into the spiritual trap and face immediate elimination.

But Kael's will was ironclad, his mental strength peerless. Such paltry illusions couldn't hope to shake him.

A frosty smirk crept across his face as he raised his staff.

"Scorching Skyfire."

Ice-blue flames erupted in a cataclysmic wave, devouring the women from all sides.

Their lovely faces twisted in terror, their shrieks piercing the air—but before they could resist, the inferno reduced them to ashes.

As the last phantom dissipated, the space fractured, revealing a staircase to the third floor.

"I wonder what awaits next..." Kael mused, his confidence surging as he advanced.

The Void Tower was a rare trial for him—one that honed his power with each step. He could even feel his energy approaching the mid-eleventh-tier threshold.

The realization thrilled him. Without hesitation, he ascended the stairs.

While Kael continued his relentless ascent through the Void Tower, the crowd outside grew increasingly tense.

"Einar has been inside for so long without emerging... Could he have reached the higher floors already?" someone exclaimed in awe. Einar's prolonged absence was impossible to ignore.

"Senior Sister, where do you think Einar will rank?" Sha Sha asked Solmer beside her.

"Hard to predict," Solmer shook her head. **"I lasted until the seventh floor before failing at the eighth. Since Einar hasn't come out yet, he must have surpassed the eighth—possibly even breached the ninth."**

No sooner had Solmer spoken than a collective gasp rippled through the crowd—Einar had finally emerged from the Void Tower!

Simultaneously, the Void Ranking shimmered and updated, displaying in bold:

"Einar — 10th Place!"

Tenth on the Void Ranking!

Solmer's heart clenched in shock. Her thoughts immediately turned to Kael—Just how high would he rank?

Meanwhile, deep within the tower, Kael pressed onward, having already reached the sixth floor.
