Level 1 Basic Ability Card

The man wearing the mask of King Gou nodded, stood up and began to summon the G1 Treasure Book.

Ethan Brooks also imitated him and summoned the G1 Treasure Book. Ten seconds later, the G1 Treasure Book appeared. Ethan Brooks opened the interface of the bank card and pointed his finger at the bank card, saying, "Bank card, use!"

With a "bang", a cloud of smoke appeared in front of Ethan Brooks, and a cash register materialized.

Ethan Brooks took a look and saw that there were ten buttons from 0 to 9 on the cash register. He pressed the 3 and then five zeros.

"Clang!" A money box popped out. Ethan Brooks took a look and found a dozen 10,000 euro banknotes inside.

Taking out the banknotes, he handed them to the man in the mask of King Gou. Ethan Brooks placed the basic ability card on the blank page of his G1 Treasure Book. With a "puff", the card was absorbed into the G1 Treasure Book.

"BIN!" The masked man of King Gou also put away the money and sat there again.

Ethan Brooks stood up, ready to leave.

"Wait." The man in the Gou Wang mask called out to Ethan Brooks.

"Is there anything?" Ethan Brooks asked, turning his head.

Ethan Brooks of the Gouwang Mask Men's Team said, "Behind you, there's a row of street vendors. There's a guy in armor. He's my friend. He has a high-level ability card. After you learn the basic ability cards, it's best to buy the one he has."

Ethan Brooks was taken aback for a moment. He didn't expect that this masked man who called himself the King of Hooks, who seemed so reclusive, would actually offer him advice.

"Got it. Thanks." Ethan Brooks nodded to the masked man and turned to leave.

Long Feng walked to the row of stalls where the masked man had pointed out and began to search carefully. Sure enough, a man dressed in a full suit of green European medieval armor was extremely conspicuous among the stalls. He was sitting there in a very casual manner, explaining his goods to people.

Ethan Brooks walked over and observed for a while. He found that many people were paying attention to his stall, but few were making transactions.

Gradually, Ethan Brooks also caught on to something. This armored man's items were clearly a notch above those of the people around him, but their prices were two levels higher, making them a bit overpriced.

So many people who wanted to buy paid much attention to his stall, but few actually made a purchase.

Seeing this, Ethan Brooks also walked over to his stall and squatted down.

After looking back and forth a few times, most of the items on the stall of the armored man were treasures and weapons. I didn't see the advanced ability cards that the man with the Gouwang mask mentioned.

"Friend, I heard from a friend that you have advanced ability cards here?" Ethan Brooks said to the armored man. His armor had a mask, covering his face completely.

There are a few. I wasn't sure whether to sell them or keep them for myself. Since you asked, I'll show them to you. The armored man said. Ethan Brooks recognized from his voice that this person was a young boy.

Saying that, the armored man took out five cards from the bag beside him and handed them to Ethan Brooks.

I took them and saw that the five cards were "Bone Strike, Martial Arts, Level 2 Martial Arts Ability Card, said to have been created by a martial artist born with hard limbs, aiming to attack the enemy's bones. Those hit will suffer broken bones and torn tendons, suitable for one-on-one combat. It increases the strength of one's own bones and slightly boosts strength. It can be learned at a card shop."

"Flowing Cloud Force, a secondary martial arts auxiliary ability card, can release three consecutive hidden forces, each stronger than the previous one. When attached to an attack, it can injure the opponent. It is suitable for one-on-one combat and slightly increases strength. It can be learned at the card training store."

"Specialization in Combat Skills, a level one martial arts ability card, is an advanced card for basic combat skills. Learning this card allows you to further improve your basic combat skills and provides a slight power boost when using all unarmed combat techniques. It can be used at the card repair shop."

"Gun Technique Mastery, a level one martial arts ability card, is an advanced application of basic weapons. It is an entry-level advancement card for gun techniques. Learning this card allows you to further improve your basic gun skills and provides a slight power boost to all gun attacks. It can be learned at a card repair shop."

"Vacuum-Piercing Spear Technique, a level two martial arts ability card, was created by a martial arts master in the early days. This spear technique is as swift as lightning. When practiced to a high level, it can generate a one-foot-long vacuum wave at the tip of the spear, piercing through the air to wound the opponent. It can be learned at a card training store."

Ethan Brooks took a look at the five cards and found that they were all abilities from the martial arts system. Could it be that the alien system also had martial arts?

Noticing Ethan Brooks' confusion, the elf Tina whispered to him, "Ethan, this universe has many planes. Although your planet isn't part of the Great Cosmic Federation, perhaps in another plane, there's a projection of your galaxy that has joined the Great Cosmic Plane Federation, which is why this information was collected."

Ethan Brooks felt relieved upon hearing that.

The armored man saw Ethan Brooks looking at the several cards with a puzzled expression in his eyes and said to him, "These cards are what I got from doing a mission. They are definitely worth it."

Ethan Brooks came to his senses and said to him, "I'll take all five cards. How much do they cost in total?"

The armored man, seeing a big deal coming his way, perked up at once: "One hundred thousand for each one."

Ethan Brooks remained silent. At this moment, the elf Tina whispered to Ethan Brooks, "The average value of these five cards is around 80,000. His asking price is a bit high, but the Combat Specialization and Gun Specialization are relatively rare."

Ethan Brooks pondered for a moment. He didn't lack money in the game. "I'll buy all your cards," he said, then summoned the G1 Treasure Book, clicked out the money and handed it to the armored man.

Ethan Brooks put all five cards into the G1 Treasure Book and turned to leave.

After walking around the marketplace, Ethan Brooks found that there were no other decent items or skills left to sell, so he turned around and was about to leave.

But, just as he was about to leave, a street stall caught Ethan Brooks' attention.

Near the staircase of the neighboring market, there was a street stall that had already attracted quite a crowd.

It seems that all these people are attracted by something on that street stall, but not many actually make a purchase.

Seeing this, Ethan Brooks pushed his way through the crowd and squeezed in.

Here, setting up a stall was a white girl who seemed to be around eleven or twelve years old. Her golden hair was styled like that of a Sailor Moon character, reaching down to her waist. She wore a black dress suit and had big blue eyes. Her hands were covered with gauze gloves. She was quietly reading a book there.

Ethan Brooks took a look. Her stall was filled with all kinds of jewelry, rings, brooches, necklaces, hairpins and other treasures. And the people in front of her were looking at a very large ring.

Ethan Brooks squeezed in and looked at the treasure card introduction of that ring:

The Precise Ring significantly enhances the wearer's accuracy and precision attributes. It offers a +21 bonus to accuracy and is a level two treasure. It is priced at 400,000 Ocaras. Alternatively, it can be exchanged for a diamond that boosts strength or a sapphire that enhances mental power. Serious offers for exchange or purchase are welcome. No bargaining, please.

Ethan Brooks read the description of the ring and asked the elf Tina in his heart, "Tina, is it very rare that her ring is sold so expensively?"

Tina's voice rang in Ethan Brooks' mind: "Ethan, this ring adds quite a lot of accuracy attributes. Do you know that a normal person's accuracy attribute is only between three and five? An accuracy attribute of six or above is already the attribute of a skilled worker or someone in other precision occupations. This ring adds twenty-one accuracy attributes at once. It can be said to be extremely powerful."

"Well, then why do those people just look but not buy? Is it that this ring isn't worth that much, or do they not have enough money?" Ethan Brooks asked in puzzlement.

"Hehe, this brings us to the role of the Accuracy attribute. Although this ring's attributes are extremely powerful, it's somewhat of a dud. Generally speaking, an Accuracy attribute of nine to ten already meets the needs of most skills or tasks that require accuracy. This ring's Accuracy attribute is twenty-one, which is about double that. Although it looks intimidating, most of the time, such a high Accuracy attribute is not necessary. That's why many people look at it but no one buys it," explained the elf Tina to Ethan Brooks.

Ethan Brooks was suddenly enlightened, but he asked again, "Then why would such an overpowered attribute ring appear in the game?"

"Perhaps it's because this ring is particularly needed for some mission. Otherwise, it wouldn't have such attributes that are so much higher than the normal value," Tina guessed.

Ethan Brooks nodded, but he was prepared to buy the ring.

Others might think that this ring is too expensive and that it's not appropriate to buy a ring with such high attributes, but Ethan Brooks is the last person to be short of money. As for the attributes, of course, the higher the better.

Ethan Brooks pushed his way through the crowd, reached the ring and picked it up. He said to the girl, "I'll take this ring."

The onlookers around them made a commotion. The girl closed her book and said to Ethan Brooks, "Well, it's a total of four hundred thousand oka."

Ethan Brooks summoned his G1 card book and presented a cheque for 400,000 euros to the girl.

The girl handed the ring to Ethan Brooks. This ring did not have the card function. Ethan Brooks put the ring on his hand directly.

This ring has a golden base and a white metal block on the top, with several inscriptions that no one can understand. It looks quite like an NBA championship ring.

The moment Ethan Brooks slipped the ring onto his finger, he suddenly felt as if something had been added to his soul and his control over the world around him had become much stronger.

Ethan Brooks just felt that he had a firm grasp of the environment around him. For instance, he could now accurately estimate the distance between himself and each person in front of him. It was a very mysterious feeling, as if a ruler had measured it.

Ethan Brooks could even sense how far the staircase on the second floor was from him and how many steps it would take to get there. His precise control over his body was as accurate as a machine. Ethan Brooks felt that even if he were to do micro-carving on a grain of rice now, it wouldn't be the least bit difficult. Every part of his body moved accurately as he wished. This feeling was truly wonderful!

Nodding at the little girl in front of him, Ethan Brooks said to her, "I'm Ethan Brooks. If there's anything good, please keep it for me. I'll pay 120 percent of the regular price. Price is no issue for me."

The little girl looked at Ethan Brooks, nodded, and then sat down by the roadside stall again to read her book.

Ethan Brooks stood up and walked out.

Stepping out of the Adventurer's Bazaar, Ethan Brooks stood on the street below.

"Tina, where is the card shop?"
