1. The Weight of a Gun
Jinwoo sat alone in his apartment, staring at the gun on the table.
The city lights outside flickered against the rain-soaked window, but he didn't notice. His mind replayed Chairman Seo's words over and over.
"Fix your mistake."
Dae-jung was alive.
Seo wanted him dead.
Jinwoo clenched his fists. For years, he had obeyed without question. He had been a weapon, nothing more.
But this wasn't a simple job.
This was personal.
His phone vibrated. A message.
Dae-jung: Let's talk.
A location followed.
Jinwoo exhaled slowly.
This wasn't a trap.
If Dae-jung wanted him dead, he would've done it already.
Still, Jinwoo picked up his gun.
Just in case.

2. The Devil's Bargain
Jinwoo arrived at an abandoned boxing gym in Itaewon. The scent of sweat and dust lingered in the air.
Dae-jung stood in the center of the ring, hands in his pockets.
"You came," he said.
Jinwoo stepped forward. "You wanted to talk. Start talking."
Dae-jung chuckled. "Still impatient."
He pulled out a cigarette, lighting it with ease.
"You know by now, don't you?" he said, exhaling smoke. "Seo set us both up."
Jinwoo stayed silent.
Dae-jung smirked. "You were just a pawn. Same as me. The only difference? I didn't stay one."
Jinwoo's jaw tightened. "What do you want?"
Dae-jung flicked ash onto the floor.
"I want Seo dead."
Jinwoo froze.
Dae-jung's voice was calm, almost amused. "You're finally seeing the truth. Seo's not your ally. He never was. He raised you to be disposable."
Jinwoo didn't deny it.
But killing Seo?
That was suicide.
Dae-jung leaned forward. "You have a choice, Jinwoo. Stay his dog… or break the leash."

3. Blood on the Floor
A noise.
Jinwoo turned just in time—
A masked man burst in, gun raised.
Jinwoo reacted instantly. He knocked the gun aside, twisting the attacker's wrist until it snapped. The man screamed.
Dae-jung moved like a shadow, grabbing another intruder and slamming his head against the ropes.
More footsteps.
Gunfire erupted, bullets tearing through the gym.
Jinwoo dove for cover, firing back.
Dae-jung grabbed a steel pipe and crushed a man's skull with a single swing.
The last attacker tried to run.
Jinwoo didn't let him.
He shot him in the back.
Silence.
Blood pooled around their feet.
Dae-jung chuckled, wiping his blade. "Looks like Seo made your choice for you."
Jinwoo exhaled.
There was no going back now.
