Chen Yunran blinked. The system really liked throwing him into dangerous situations. He was an intern, not a corporate spy.

At least, he wasn't supposed to be.

Across the office, Zhang Wei sat at his desk, seemingly unaware that he was under suspicion. He laughed with his coworkers, his body language relaxed. A man with nothing to hide—or a man who was too good at hiding things.

Chen Yunran narrowed his eyes. He needed more than just a login record.

Catching the Mole

That night, he stayed late, pretending to review reports. When Zhang Wei finally left, Chen Yunran subtly followed.

Sure enough, the guy wasn't heading home. Instead, he took a detour to the archives room—a place where confidential documents were kept.

Before Zhang Wei could notice, Chen Yunran backed away, pulled out his phone, and sent an anonymous tip—straight to Xu Meilin.

The next morning, security escorted Zhang Wei out in handcuffs.

Xu Meilin stood by her desk, arms crossed as she watched him struggle. When she turned to Chen Yunran, her sharp gaze softened slightly.

"You were right," she said. "We found enough evidence to confirm it."

"Of course," he said, smirking. "I am an intern, after all. Solving corporate espionage is part of my job description."

She rolled her eyes, but he caught the faintest hint of a smile before she turned away.
