As I walked away 13 distantly said "I was finished anyways."
"Go back to the MTV then, I'll see you there." I shouted back.
Approaching the cursed wolves' den I turned off my motion sense and eventually saw the indent in the earth which made a miniature cave. It had no odour which seemed strange considering how horribly those things smelled.
mana core sitting on the ground right in the middle, it looked like a glass globe filled with constantly shifting smoke.
Picking the mana up I noticed unlike how I expected instead of it feeling like glass it felt more like a firm water balloon. It was able to jiggle a little and deformed when pressed but seemed pretty hard to actually break. The surface was rough but in a regular pattern which made it seem unnatural.
Before I left I looked around the cave for a moment to notice how each wolf seemingly had their own pile of leaves to sleep on which had an indent form where they laid. What caught my attention was the fact there was four of these piles.
Turning my motion sense on in an instant I tried to filter the information before I was even able to adjust to activating it, I searched around far and saw... nothing.
My immediate panic of the chance of there being another wolf disappeared quickly when I noticed the forth bed was a lot smaller then the others and nearly attached to one of the other wolf's pile of leaves
'A baby.'
Baby cursed were rarely seen and didn't last long. They normally are never aggressive but they all die quickly.
'Its actually really sad, we don't know where they come from nor how they got here. While they might be insane and evil creatures they are still cursed to die painfully.'
My walk back to the MTV was quite mellow, I was trapped in my own head thinking. 'Why are they here? Why do they always kill everything around them?' Along with countless other questions about these aptly named cursed.
Arriving at the MTV I changed my facial expression so not to worry the others.
I pulled on the handle to the side door only to realise it was locked, then went to the side door just to find it was also locked.
'These cunts.'
They were clearly just having a laugh at me, there is no way they forgot I was outside so that meant they were sitting by the screen giggling at me.
I turned on motion sense to see if I was right and as the world faded to black and the briefly indecipherable knowledge came rushing into my mind I realised something and begun climbing onto the roof.
I grabbed the latch and swung it open just in time to hear 49 say. "You forgot to close the top latch didn't you."
"Yes he did." I announced as I jumped in.
I looked over to 7 and 13 to find out who the guilty party was, only to see 13 relaxing and 7 flush red.
Walking over to him I cracked my knuckle before saying. "I'm going to enjoy this.'

The MTV was on the move again, we had been tasked with am emergency mission. Apparently a squad was having issues with one of their tasks and we were to forget our targets and go help them.
13 who was driving turned back to say "How long is this going to take?"
49 who was charting the map this time replied "It will take about three hours to get there."
"Great so we are working through the night, that sounds safe." 13 commented, a sigh escaping his lips before muttering under his breath. "I fucking hate driving."
"When do you think 7 will be back up?" I asked 49.
"Maybe you shouldn't have beat him up so hard not least because your shoulder was still dislocated." 49 replied as if I was the one in the wrong.
"Hey, at least he learnt to never lock me outside the MTV again. If I hadn't taught him that I could have gotten killed in the future. Yeah, it was a precaution." I explained, trying to justify myself.

The journey was long and boring, I spent most of it within the realm of my motion sense but every now and again I spent time outside the latch on the roof just observing the mountains and hills slowly pass by.
Earth was as much a conundrum as ever, I had usually forced myself to only think practically in an effort to survive but I always found my thoughts wondering elsewhere, wanting to know more.
Too many questions always filled my head, none of which I could answer.
A few hundred metres ahead I noticed a cursed right in front of us, I ducked down into the cabin then said. "Cursed ahead of us, change course a bit."
49 replied. "On it, alright 13 go to-"
I didn't hear the rest as I stood back up through the latch causing the wind to fill my ears with a loud whistling sound again.
Again I watched the hills and mountains roll by slowly. I enjoyed the cold feeling of the wind and even the ever so slight sensation of the radiation hitting the second skin of my elemental resistance.
Eventually I begrudgingly came back into the cabin and locked the latch. Not wanting the others to be forced to use their own elemental resistance inside the MTV just for the reason that I wanted to have a look outside the latch.
Observing the world through my motion sense again was always a weird experience but it would likely always be like that. The sense was just so different to sight it was hard to explain, it was encompassing. In a way similar to the way you can feel all throughout your body and even exact spots within it, but the motion sense extended far further and had a truly mind numbing amount of information had I been focusing on it all at once.
Slowly I was learning how to better filter the sense but at an even greater speed was my improvement in the usage of the ability. Which increased the range of it, making filtering and understand just as hard no matter how much better I got.
Warning the others about another cursed ahead which seemed like second nature now I simply decided to observe while relaxing in my bed. I even realised I could take off the elemental resistance ability now that the air in the cabin was fully filtered which took a massive weight off of my mind.
It was hard to keep two abilities on at once, some abilities even more so. I had already categorised the elemental resistance and the appetite lessening abilities to 'passive' and the motion sense and acceleration abilities to 'active'.
These basically just were about how hard the ability was to use.
I could only use one active and one passive abilities at once, or two passive abilities at once. doing either was hard and doing any more seemed impossible no matter how hard I tried. My brain just didn't have enough power to sustain it.
We eventually fell into the rhythm of me sensing one of the cursed, 49 plotting a way around and 13 driving us there.
I was doing my job on autopilot, by all means I looked like I was sleeping until I called out a cursed creature.
Sometimes 13 could see further since sight didn't have a range but it was mostly still me speaking because of the terrain often blocking the view.
The sky had eventually turned black to which I had taken the wheel, since turning the lights on would be far too risky and in the dark I was the only one who could 'see' with my motion sense.
"Making the blind man drive, how the turns have tabled." I said jokingly.
"Its 'tables have turned', you idiot." 13 basically shouted from the top bunk of the bunkbed.
"Who cares, but this is going to be a lot harder to navigate when no one can see the land marks." I commented
"The compass, speedometer and occasional GPS will have to do. I should be able to make it work as long as you stay a fairly consistent speed." 49 said while in thought.
"Why would our speed matter?" I asked her, genuinely confused.
"Well its the only way I can figure out how far we have gotten, otherwise we might go further or shorter then we expect."
"Why not just look the odometer up front here." I questioned.
She sat there stunned for a second then said. "That would work."
13 lazily said "How is she supposed to see the damn thing in the dark."
"Ah, you're right. Is there no way to get the information on the computer back there?" I said, saying the idea as it popped into my mind.
"We will have to check, just keep driving anyway. We need to get there as soon as possible, Speaking of which get 7 to wake up. I'm running low on roh." 49 said while organising everything out.
'How is everything moving so slow and fast at the same time? I just want to rest in bed.'
Despite how tired I felt I had to be the one driving in the night, it was the only way we could be safe after all.
