Chapter 26: Revealing His Identity

"Hey, if you call me out to deal with trash like this again, I'm going back," Kalpas grumbled, clearly annoyed. Every time Yun Fan summoned him, it was to deal with small fry. Couldn't he find a decent opponent?

"Yeah, yeah, I promise next time," Yun Fan agreed readily. But looking across Teyvat, how many people could actually match Kalpas? If Kalpas went all out, Yun Fan was pretty sure he could solo the entire continent.

Of course, that was assuming Yun Fan's energy supply could keep up. At his current level, he couldn't sustain Kalpas in a full-power battle.

"Tch!" Seeing Yun Fan's perfunctory attitude, Kalpas scoffed and turned back into a mask.

Putting the mask away, Yun Fan surveyed the fallen Fatui agents. Kalpas had been considerate, avoiding bloodshed and keeping the office clean.

"Why is everyone so quiet?" Yun Fan broke the silence, seeing the Knights of Favonius staring at him in shock.

"Mr. Yun Fan..." Amber started to say, as she was the most familiar with him.

"Amber, just call me Yun Fan. I didn't reveal my strength earlier because I didn't want to create distance between us," Yun Fan sighed, realizing the unintended consequence of his secrecy.

"Alright, Yun Fan," Amber agreed, though her eyes still held a hint of wariness.

"Honestly," Yun Fan reached out and tugged on Amber's bunny ear headband, pulling until her cheeks puffed up in annoyance.

"Hahaha, that's the Amber I know!" Yun Fan laughed.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Yun Fan, for dragging you into this," Jean apologized. In her eyes, Yun Fan was a guest from Liyue, caught up in the Knights' weakness.

"The Fatui have always been unreasonable across the seven nations. This time, they just kicked an iron plate. Right, little cutie~" Lisa smiled, her eyes scanning Yun Fan from head to toe.

"Such powerful Electro energy... I've never seen anything like it. Little cutie, can you tell me who you really are?"

"Well, you can call me the Divine Lord, but I'd prefer you call me Yun Fan," Yun Fan decided to stop hiding. After all, he had plans to make his name known. Otherwise, he wouldn't have used the title "Divine Lord" when making the contract with the Tsaritsa.

"The Divine Lord?!" xN

"Bard, is something happening over there?" Paimon asked, watching as Knights of Favonius rushed out of the Cathedral toward the headquarters, looking confused.

Venti was speechless. The explosion had probably been heard across half of Mondstadt. Was Paimon deaf?

Lumine and Paimon, having been convinced by Venti to join the effort to save Dvalin, were now discussing how to obtain the Holy Lyre der Himmel.

Earlier, Venti and Lumine had tried to negotiate for the lyre, but failed. Venti had even revealed his identity as the Anemo Archon, but it was useless—he was nearly arrested for blasphemy.

As the brains of the operation—maybe?—Venti proposed a brilliant plan: since conventional methods didn't work, they would "borrow" the lyre after the Cathedral guards went off duty.

"Even if we don't know what's happening, now might be the perfect time to get the lyre," Venti exchanged a glance with Lumine. As in the original story, Venti kept watch while Lumine sneaked into the lyre's chamber.

However, the Knights weren't foolish enough to leave the Cathedral completely unguarded. A few guards remained, but they were no match for Lumine's "expert" stealth skills.

Just as Lumine was about to grab the lyre, a Cicin Mage appeared, forcing her back with a barrage of Electro attacks and snatching the lyre.

"Who's there?!" The commotion attracted the guards, and Lumine quickly retreated, leaving the Knights to chase after the intruder.

"Let's go, we've been spotted!"

"Huh?" Before Venti could react, Lumine grabbed his hand and dragged him away.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa—!!"

Nearby, a red-haired nobleman frowned as he watched the scene. He had rushed to the Knights' headquarters after hearing the explosion, only to witness this.

"What are those two up to?" After a moment of thought, Diluc decided to ignore them for now. The situation at the headquarters was more pressing. I'll have someone investigate them later.

"To think you're the Divine Lord," Jean said with a bitter smile. Three years ago, the title of Divine Lord had appeared out of nowhere, causing a stir across Teyvat.

Morax, the Geo Archon, was arguably the strongest and oldest of the Seven. For him to acknowledge someone as the Divine Lord—what kind of being could that be?

And now, the elusive Divine Lord had revealed himself in Mondstadt.

"Acting Grand Master Jean, are you alright?" A golden-haired girl in a white deaconess dress burst into the room, her face filled with concern.

"Barbara, why are you here?" Jean was surprised, then noticed a red-haired man entering behind Barbara.

"With such a commotion outside, no one stepped up to handle it. Has the Knights of Favonius decayed to this extent?"

"I'm sorry, Master Diluc. I'll handle it immediately," Jean started to rise, but Diluc interrupted her.

"Let Kaeya handle it. I trust his abilities."

"Haha, what an honor..." Kaya muttered, clearly reluctant but forced to comply under everyone's expectant gazes.

"Acting Grand Master Jean, can you explain what's going on?" Diluc scanned the room, noticing that everyone seemed to be focused on the merchant from Liyue.

A year ago, when Yun Fan had arrived in Mondstadt and acquired the Good Hunter, Diluc had investigated him but found little of value. Now, it was clear Yun Fan was no ordinary merchant.

Jean looked to Yun Fan for permission before speaking.

"It's fine," Yun Fan nodded.

With his approval, Jean began to explain.

"What happened was..."
