Imposing a Forced Marriage

Hotel Paradise (Imagenary Name), California, 08:00 PM,

California's most luxurious and grand seven-star hotel, Hotel Paradise, had one of its banquet halls beautifully decorated. The reason? Tonight, the well-known business Valentino family's youngest daughter Olivia Valentino—whom no one had ever seen before—was getting married to Stephan Fuller, the sole heir of the renowned Fuller business family.

It was a full moon night, and guests had started arriving at the banquet hall.

Meanwhile, in one of the hotel's most luxurious rooms, an extraordinarily beautiful 21-year-old girl sat on a chair in front of a mirror, dressed in a white bridal gown.

Her long, straight, silky blonde hair cascaded down to her waist. Her deep, lake-blue eyes were filled with innocence and framed by thick eyelashes.

Her skin was pale and fair as moon light, her small, sharp nose was delicate, and her heart-shaped, velvety-soft lips seemed tempting enough to taste.

She was having a delicate waist and perfect body shape and curves.

Overall, she was breathtakingly beautiful—like a fairy descended from heaven.

However, her face looked dull. Her eyes were swollen and red, as if she hadn't slept properly for days.

There were dried tear stains on her cheeks. She sat motionless, staring blankly at her own reflection in the mirror, expressionless—like a statue.

There was no sign of happiness on her face, no excitement for her wedding. From any angle, she did not look like a joyful bride.

At that moment, a very stylish and attitude-filled woman around 25 years of age, entered the room, wearing a red mermaid-style, highly revealing gown. She was beautiful too, but only because of the heavy makeup she had layered on her face.

In contrast, the girl in the bridal gown had only applied light makeup, yet she looked exceptionally stunning—like a piece of the moon itself.

Along with this stylish and arrogant woman, an older woman, around 50 years old, entered the room.

As soon as they saw the bride, both of them became irritated and jelous by her breathtaking beauty.

However, they quickly masked their emotions with fake smiles and approached her.

The stylish and arrogant woman, standing behind the bride, placed her hands on her shoulders and spoke in an overly sweet yet obviously fake tone,

"Why were you crying, Olivia? Look, your makeup is all ruined… If you keep crying like this, how will you look beautiful at your wedding?"

"Yes, Olivia… your elder sister is absolutely right. Look, you're getting married to Stephan Fuller... the sole heir of California's biggest business family… you should be happy!", the 50-year-old woman said in an overly sweet and obviously fake tone, just like the stylish and attitude-filled woman before her, while pressing Olivia's shoulder forcefully.

As soon as the woman pressed Olivia's shoulders, a cry of pain escaped her lips, and fresh tears streamed down her cheeks.

She was already terrified just by seeing their reflection in the mirror because, not long ago, this very older woman had mercilessly beaten her with a stick.

Due to this, Olivia had suffered a deep injury on her shoulder, along with bruises on other parts of her body, which were now hidden beneath the conservative bridal gown, she was wearing.

The older woman had been careful not to leave any visible wounds on Olivia's neck, face, or hands—ensuring that no one would suspect how brutally she had been beaten.

Now, this woman was deliberately pressing Olivia's injured shoulder, making her writhe in pain.

But out of fear of both of them, Olivia immediately placed a hand over her mouth, trying to suppress any sound from escaping.

Terrified, Olivia gathered all her courage and, in a trembling and barely audible voice, stammered as she spoke to the 50-year-old woman,

"M… MomII... do... don'twa... want toma... marryhim…"

Before Olivia could say another word, her mother—Mrs. Valentino—delivered a sharp, resounding slap across her face.

Seeing this, Olivia's elder sister was instantly shocked, although, she was not worried about Olivia but this can ruin their family's reputation.

When this thought strike her mind, she quickly grabbed their mother's hand and tried to reason with her,

"Mom… how could you hit Olivia like that on her face? Look, your fingers have left a mark on her face! If she goes outside like this, our family will be humiliated, and the media will get an opportunity to spread rumors that we're torturing her! As it is, because we've kept her hidden from everyone for so long, the media is already speculating all kinds of things about us!"

Mrs. Valentino realized that her daughter had a valid point. Composing herself, she took a deep breath and then said to her elder daughter,

"I think You're right, Myra… I need to control myself. But what can I possibly do? I don't understand why this girl is so rebellious… Why can't she be well-behaved and sensible like you? Anyway, forget it… Do one thing—call the makeup artist to fix her makeup. We can't take her to the wedding hall looking like this!"

Agreeing with her mother, Myra nodded and walked out of the room to make a call to makeup artists.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Valentino turned back to Olivia, who was trembling in fear, tears continuously streaming down her cheeks.

Gripping Olivia's jaw tightly, Mrs. Valentino, leaned in and, with a cold and menacing tone, warned her, emphasizing every word,

"If you try to create any fuss again… you have no idea what I will do to you. And now, stop this crying! If you do anything to bring even the slightest shame to your father or our Valentino family's reputation… you will regret it!"

Saying this, Mrs. Valentino jerked Olivia's jaw forcefully, making her face turn to one side, which gave Olivia, an imense pain again.

Fresh tears welled up in Olivia's eyes again, but this time, she held them back after hearing Mrs. Valentino's threat.

Just then, Myra entered the room again, but this time, she was accompanied by a team of makeup artists.

Seeing the team of makeup artists, Mrs. Valentino immediately put on her fake elegant facade.

With a forced smile and an air of false sophistication, she spoke to the makeup artists, maintaining her reputation,

"Everyone... please fix her makeup... my dear daughter is getting quite emotional at the thought of leaving her family!"

Mrs. Valentino's words didn't seem strange to the makeup artists, and they simply gave a slight smile.

After that, Mrs. Valentino, with false love in her eyes, gently caressed Olivia's head with fake affection and said,

"My dearno more crying, okay? Otherwise, you won't look beautiful on your wedding day!!!"

After that, warning Olivia with just her eyes, Mrs. Valentino left the room with Myra.

Poor Olivia was terrified after seeing the dangerous look in Mrs. Valentino's eyes, and she immediately calmed herself down. However, the fear in her eyes was still clearly visible.

The makeup artists then got back to their work.

Meanwhile, outside the room, a man around 55 years old arrived—Mr. Valentino. Seeing his wife and daughter, he looked at them and asked,

"Is Olivia ready? Make sure there are no mistakes today… This wedding should go smoothly... It's very impotant for our plan to succeed and this plan of ours... must succeed at any cost!!!"

"Don't worry, Dad... Mom has explained things to Olivia very well. She won't even dare to go against us now... Right, Mom??" Myra said in a devilish tone, with a wicked smile, as she looked at Mr. Valentino, and then turned to her mother for confirmation.

Hearing Myra's words, Mrs. Valentino also smirked devilishly, which made Mr. Valentino feel satisfied.

A While Later, in the Wedding Hall

Olivia stood on the stage in her wedding gown, holding a bouquet of flowers, with a faint, forced smile on her face.

In front of her stood Stephen Fuller, her groom, who looked decent at best but was eyeing Olivia with a disgusting, lustful gaze.

This made Olivia extremely uncomfortable and filled her with fear deep inside. However, she couldn't do anything—if she tried, her family would make her life a living hell.

At this moment, Olivia was cursing her fate and silently praying for some miracle to save her. She was terrified of Stephen and desperately wished for a way to escape marrying a monstrous man like him.

Meanwhile, all the guests sat in their chairs below the stage, witnessing the wedding.

Suddenly, the Priest stepped onto the stage, standing slightly behind Olivia and Stephen. Holding the microphone, he first turned to Olivia and asked,

"Olivia Valentino... Do you take Stephan Fuller... to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do you part???"

Hearing the Priest's question, Olivia panicked, unable to utter a single word.

Seeing this, the color drained from the faces of Mrs. Valentino, Mr. Valentino, and Myra. The rest of the guests also started whispering among themselves.

Noticing the situation, Mr. and Mrs. Fuller shot sharp, angry glares at the Valentino family, as this whole mess was tarnishing their reputation as well.

Without wasting any time, Mrs. Valentino quickly stepped onto the stage.

Plastering a forced smile on her face, she loudly announced for everyone to hear, "She's just nervous!!!"

Then, leaning in close to Olivia's ears, she whispered in a dangerously low tone, "If you don't go through with this wedding… just wait and see what happens!!!"

Hearing this, Olivia became even more terrified.

Trembling, she tried to speak, stammering, "I... I..."

But before she could say anything further, the wedding hall was suddenly surrounded by heavily armed black commandos, military personnel, and police officers.

They spread out across the hall, their presence shocking and terrifying all the guests and the everyone else including Valentino and Fuller family.
