The classroom was as lively as any first day of school. Students were busy greeting each other, forming cliques, and catching up with old friends. The air buzzed with excitement, ambition, and the occasional burst of laughter. It was everything a proper school introduction should be.
I wanted nothing to do with it.
Without a word, I made my way to the back seat, away from the noise and unnecessary socializing. Sitting there felt… refreshing, like a quiet whisper welcoming me home.
From my spot, I glanced around, scanning for any familiar faces. Fortunately, I saw none. Some people I used to know had a nasty habit of attracting trouble like a cursed magnet. Not seeing them was a relief.
As I was lost in my thoughts, the classroom door creaked open, and our teacher strolled in. That wasn't surprising—what was surprising was how fast the students composed themselves. The room went from a loud 10 to a near-silent 1 in half a second.
Yet, judging by his bored expression, the teacher didn't care in the slightest or simply put it he wasn't payed enough to care.
"Good morning, class," he said in a sluggish tone, his eyes lazily scanning the room. "I'll be your homeroom teacher and practical instructor. I am Mr Nicolas roswell but you all can call me mr roy, now with that out of the way "
The moment his introduction ended, his attitude did a complete 180.
"As you all know, this is Class 1F—the lowest-ranked class in the academy. I've been assigned to get you into shape, and I don't have time for slackers. So, in short—you do as I say, or you're expelled."
"Huh?"
The class was collectively stunned.
Even I was thrown off. If I got expelled, I'd have nowhere to go. Would I have to live on the streets? Would I be forced into some tragic 'wandering swordsman' arc? I am not cut out for life on the road ?
Before I could spiral any further, a brave—or maybe just stupid—npc (student) spoke up.
"Sir, how can we be expelled just like that? That sounds like a threat and I'm pretty sure it against the rules and you would be fired if we were to report. "
The rest of the class murmured in agreement.
Mr roy sighed, looking utterly unbothered. "please go ahead i will be more than happy to be reported, but sadly for Stellar Academy refrains from interfering in a teacher's affairs. As long as I have a good reason, I can expel anyone. No questions asked."
The same student, apparently not knowing when to shut up, kept arguing. "But that seems way too far! We worked hard to get here!"
"you worked hard to get here so what in the dungeon A hunter who can't follow orders is nothing but a liability, and a risk to his party" mr roy said, his voice calm but carrying an underlying menace.
That was enough to shut everyone up.

The rest of the day continued like any normal school day… except I understood absolutely nothing.
It was like trying to decipher an alien language. I couldn't even ask questions—this was supposed to be common knowledge. And to make things worse, a certain holographic system AI hovered around me, occasionally throwing sarcastic remarks.
Thanks for the moral support, Emily.
Since my brain had given up on actual learning, I switched tactics. I started scanning my classmates, evaluating their strength. Out of 34 students, only six stood out—former villains from the game.
They weren't exactly top-tier bosses, but they weren't weak either. I didn't remember their names (because let's be honest, the game never bothered mentioning them), but their faces were familiar.
If I can recruit them, I might have a decent team.
Of course, I couldn't just walk up to them. That'd be suspicious. Especially since, thanks to Lucy, I already had a reputation as ' a wannabe hunter with out a sigil '.
That meant I was a social outcast, isolated and ignored.
…Honestly? I didn't hate it, it just my style.
If anything, being alone meant no one would suspect me of being a transmigrator. Whoever started this 'Railey is a weakling' rumor unknowingly did me a favor(thanks lucy).
Still, if I wanted to graduate and live the good life, I had to start improving. My stats were garbage. Emily had already shown me the stats of a 13-year-old, and I was only barely stronger.
I didn't know why but i feel Somewhere out there, Loki was probably laughing at my suffering.
Before I knew it, the class was already leaving. Since I had zoned out half the time, I simply followed.
---
We arrived at a massive training room filled with weapons.
Not replicas. Not training dummies.
Real weapons.
The air smelled of steel, and an unspoken excitement filled the room.
I may act mature, but let's be real—I'm still a 16-year-old who just got access to an actual armory.
"Alright," mr roy said lazily. "Pick a weapon. You only get one, and you won't be allowed to change it for free. So hurry up—I've got places to be."
Students rushed forward, choosing weapons that suited their fighting style.
Swords, spears, daggers, bows—everyone carefully selected their best match.
And then there was me.
As I stepped forward, I could feel the class watching. They probably expected me to pick something weak, something befitting my 'loser' reputation.
So when I grabbed that, the entire class went silent.
Their expressions ranged from disbelief to barely concealed laughter.
Even Mr roy raised an eyebrow.
Emily, who had been floating around without a care in the world, watching me like an eagle
Standing in front of the class, weapon in hand, I sighed.
as i hear mumurs from the student
"What is he thinking"
"What those he intended to do with that"
"If this is a joke no one is laughing"
"Is he just seeking attention disgusting"
Welp… might as well own it.
