Chapter 8: New Jutsu
Naido-Sensei observed my reaction to the chakra paper, his eyes narrowing thoughtfully. He seemed to be considering something, then nodded, as if coming to a decision.
"These are both C-rank jutsu, they should help your new Elements Chakra Manipulation"
He reached into his pouch and pulled out two scrolls, each marked with the respective elemental symbol. He handed them to me one at a time.
"First," Naido-Sensei explained, "this one is an Earth-style jutsu, called Earth Release: Muddy Capture. It's a C-rank Earth technique that allows you to create a sudden area of mud right below your feet, enabling you to sink and trap your opponent."
I opened the scroll, scanning the seals and hand signs that would allow me to perform the jutsu.
"Next," Naido-Sensei continued, "is a Water-style jutsu, Water Release: Piercing Torrent. This technique is a sharp, concentrated stream of water shot from your mouth that can pierce through most materials. It's ideal for taking down distant opponents, or even cutting through defenses with its power."
I opened the second scroll, finding a series of hand seals and descriptions of how to concentrate chakra in my throat before releasing a powerful water attack.
Naido-Sensei gave me a look of expectation. "These two jutsu will be useful in different situations. Muddy Escape will allow you to trap your opponents feet in close range, while Piercing Torrent will give you an offensive option for long-range attacks."

"Thank you Sensei." I bowed a little to show my respect to the Bald Man.
"Your welcome…now I have something to ask of in return." Naido sensei said in a serious voice.
I stayed still wondering what he wanted.
He then took out a couple of Monk beads, similar to what he had on his neck and asked, "Do you want to learn the way of the Buddash?"

After a full week of rigorous training, I could feel the improvements in my body, chakra, and technique.
My chakra control was nearly at the Proficient rank, but I knew that to push past the barrier, I needed to attempt Water Walking—the next step after tree walking.
Each night, I made sure to train near Rock Lee, who was always at the training grounds.
He never said much, but whenever he noticed me, he'd flash me his usual thumbs-up and an encouraging smile.
During the day, I occasionally ran into Kazuto and Ayumi, but they seemed uninterested in bonding as teammates.
Maybe they saw this as just another game, where solo grinding was the most efficient method. Or maybe they just didn't see the point of forming bonds until the missions actually began.
I had expected our sensei, Naido, to push us into group training, but he seemed hands-off, only stepping in when we actively sought his guidance.
Maybe this NPC just had opinions on group training sessions.
After all, every strong person in this world had a...Unique personality to say the least.
The past week was definitely useful for me, since my status Page did have a couple of changes. While about a week had passed in the game, only about 2 days had passed in the real world.
During these 2 days nothing big had happened among the player base.
There were plenty of Orochimaru sightings, as it seemed like some players behaved too suspiciously and got captured by the mad pedo.
It was very clear to the observant people that we as players had 'roles' to fulfil.
We could NOT, act as non ninja. We had to follow the principles of the assignment we had.
For example, if I simply decided to walk out and leave the Village Hidden in the Leaves, I would immediately be branded as a Missing Nin.
I could not return to this village.
Other villages would also be less likely to take me in since they might think me abandoning Konoha was a part of my plans to infiltrate their ranks.
There's also the fact that Jutsu was not spread easily to the common populace. To train in Jutsu one usually needed instructors.
And obviously players as Vassal villagers weren't as blessed as me.
So I definitely planned to abuse this Bald monk.

My biggest changes were my base statistics and my new Jutsu.
As I had expected, my progress simply could not be compared to my 2 teammates.
Ayumi seemed to frequently log out, and Kazuto was usually nowhere to be seen.
I also knew I was just a tiny bit away from becoming Chunin rank in strength. I guess I should say this is expected.
We usually did a mission once every other day. Coupled with the fact I had been training my Body and Chakra, it shot up drastically.
I felt a dramatic difference from being Chunin rank in Chakra. It was to the point where I could now more easily use my Jutsu as well.
Being Senju was definitely a hack…I mean, players having to keep up with me with my titles halving my level requirements is insane.
That being said, I knew I wasn't using my true hack to its true potential.
I had to think of a way to use Wood-Style.
Gotte use these Woods and shove it up Ma-
Okay Mathew, should probably not think about the gay shit of shoving something up Madaras ass.
If I was not wrong I had about 2 weeks to the Land of Waves mission.
After that, I should have about a month before the Chunin exams.
I also managed to beg Naido sensei for another Jutsu, being the Body Flicker Jutsu.
I mean, the man was reluctant to provide me with another one before I had mastered the initial two he had given me.
Dude you're a Jounin and I am your Genin. Why are you so stingy?
[Ninjutsu: Body Flicker Jutsu

Description: By using the Body Flicker Technique, a ninja can move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and the intended destination. This technique can be level up upon mastery.

Right now an entire week had passed, and I was in front of Naido-Sensei again.
"No!" The Bald bastard said as he hung upside down from the same tree which he seemed to never move from.
I had been trying to beg this man for the Shadow Clone Jutsu for the past 30 minutes.
If possible, I wanted to just learn it from Naruto. I am sure he wouldn't really mind. That being said I didn't want it to seem like I was using him or something like that.
I also thought this would be a good opportunity for me to bond with my sensei.
I mean, any interaction to talk to a high ranking Ninja, as a Genin I should realistically take it.
But this man did not seem to want to provide his Jutsu at all!
"Sensei how about this," I said, slightly hardening my will for what I was about to say.
The Bald man seemed to be interested as he raised an eyebrow and looked towards me.
"How about I become a Buddha Disciple? On a trial basis! If I like Buddhism, I can convert to it later."
However I soon regretted my decision since he had a crazy maniacal grin on his face.
But hey, I was able to acquire one more Jutsu.

[Ninjutsu: Shadow Clone Jutsu

Description: This Jutsu allows the user to create one or more copies of themselves. The user's chakra is evenly divided between themselves and their clones: creating one clone will give it half the user's chakra, creating two clones will give each a third of the user's chakra, and so on. Depending on how much chakra the user has and how many clones they make, this rapid depletion of their reserves can be dangerous. Because of this, usually only those of at least jōnin-level can safely use the standard Shadow Clone Technique. The Multiple Shadow Clone Technique – which creates hundreds of clones to the standard version's dozens – is unsafe to the point of being forbidden. Naruto Uzumaki is an exception to this rule; because he has access to the chakra of the Nine-Tails, he can create hundreds of clones without worry.
