Chapter 12: Another one

After about a minute of repeating the same strategy, it became clear to me that this wasn't going to work.

Naruto had near-unlimited chakra, and his clones didn't seem to drain him as much as I had hoped. Compared to him, my chakra reserves were at Chunin level.

It was time for a new approach.

I gathered my clones, and we positioned ourselves back-to-back

With synchronized movements, we began to rotate rapidly using Body Flicker. The motion intensified, forming what looked like a mini tornado.

At the same time, we all unleashed Water Release: Piercing Torrent, but this time we added extra chakra to make the attack even more powerful. 

Instead of a single sharp shot, we turned the technique into a continuous, sharp line of water that tore through anything in its path.

The battlefield was flooded with multiple lines of water, cutting through Naruto's clones with ease. Naido-sensei quickly created makeshift earth walls to shield the Genins from the destruction.

I watched as Naruto's clones were swept away in an instant, unable to react in time. However, I noticed one Naruto didn't disperse.

Reacting swiftly, I body flickered to Naruto's position, using Muddy Capture to trap its feet in place, then pressed a kunai to its throat.

"You lose."

"How did Naruto lose when he had at least a hundred more clones!" Sakura asked out loud.

"He was able to use the Jutsu he had to an advantage to create a sort of Area of Effect Jutsu by combining other Jutsu." Kakashi said out loud.

"But he was not even known in the Academy. He doesn't look that smart at all!" Sakura shot back.

"Sakura, I really need to teach you to not judge a book by its cover."

"Well then Kakashi." Naido spoke with a smile on his face. He was still sitting in his Budha like posture and didn't turn to Kakshi.

Kakashi then sighed. He walked towards Naido and put his hand out.

"A deals a deal. I won't go back on it." Kakashi said.

Naido smiled and passed him something similar to the beads he wore.

"Welcome to the wonderful religion!" Naido said with a smile.

"Remember it's only for a week." Kakashi remindied.

"Ya but you know the saying,once a buddhist, always a buddhist."

"…"

"I swear it did not work that way." Kakashi sighed, putting the beads on. He glanced at the side to see Sasuke staring at Shikomu and smiled inside of his mask a little.

"Shikomu has won the fight." Kakashi announced as he tapped my shoulder.

I released the Shadow clone jutsu and the second I did, I felt intense fatigue and a minute amount of Chakra and information returned to me.

I watched as Naruto also released the Jutsu and had no change in his facial expression.

"I will win next time for sure, Shikomu!" Naruto voiced out as he looked at me.

"Sure you will." I said. But in my mind, I knew I stood no chance whatsoever if Kurama decided to pull anything.

"Tch." I heard Sasuke scoff, and at that I turned towards the Uchiha.

We both stared at each other for a moment before I eventually asked, "Naido-Sensei, can I also spar with Sasuke."

Naido and Kakashi looked at each other, and eventually Sakura was the one who spoke up.

"Are you sure you want to fight Sasuke-kun? You seem tired." She commented to which I agreed.

I was spent.

Under normal circumstances I wouldn't be able to fight him at all in my current situation.

But this wasn't normal circumstances.

I was a major fan of the Naruto anime, on more than one occasion you can actually say it saved my life.

But because of that I definitely had my own opinions on what I wanted to do.

And one of them was definitely humbling this arrogant Uchiha.

"I am tired." I said, as I moved my body around, stretching slightly.

"But I am more than confident I can defeat Sasuke in 3 moves."

At those words, I could see a visible frown appear on Sasuke's face. I was able to successfully anger him.

"Kakashi-Sensei, let me do it." Sasuke said as he walked towards me with his hands in his pocket. "I will defeat this nobody."

Kakashi sensei sighed for a moment before he eventually said, "Well, I guess since both of you are willing to do this."

As Sasuke appeared in front of me, I pointed at another side of the training area and said, "Why don't we move over there. Quite a bit of this area is already swamp or damp which makes it easier for me to use my Jutsu. I don't want you to think I have an unfair advantage."

Before Sasuke could even say anything, I body flickered to another side of the training field.

I needed him to come over here, after all, I had spent most of my time laying down traps here.

It seemed as if the Jounin knew what I was doing, since they looked around at specific areas related to my traps.

Well, it doesn't matter as long as they didn't warn Sasuke.

And I had a rough idea as to why they didn't warn him.

A Ninja had to be wary of his surroundings, casing in an environment before a fight.
