Lucy took Noah to the magical hospital with his help and it is treated pretty quickly.

Returning to their hotel room. Both of them returned to their beds, None of them spoke as various thoughts ran through their mind.

'I severely underestimated the strength of magical creatures, they are superior to animals. As of now, I need more firepower, even then, I can only engage them in long distance. Encountering anything magical within short distance is a suicide'

The silver bullets did nothing to the Wendigo. It merely got caught in surprise and Lucy understood it very well. If not for Noah's magic, she would have succumbed to the curse. She acknowledges her strength but she still have so many weaknesses.

The next day morning, Both of them are having breakfast and Noah started the conversation.

"Thanks for saving me, it's my fault that we encountered it in the first place"

"Strange things happen, It's not really your fault"

"Let's drop the hunt. The monster I wanted to kill is stronger than a Wendigo."

"Are you really giving up that easily? I agree yesterday was a scary experience but with enough preparation, we can kill it"

"No need, I can't put your life in danger."

"Oh, stop acting like you care. You literally stalked me and blackmailed me into this and you already fulfilled your part"

"You don't understand, Trolls are really durable, and it even has Hags magical ability of causing Nightmares. One wrong move and we will be done for. I thought we can do it somehow but I don't think so anymore"

"Look, I don't like owing to others. You paid your part. So, I don't want to owe you any-"

Yesterday's events are still running through both of their heads, especially Noah who's a normal Teen who just graduated from magic school compared to Lucy who was an adult and have gone through a lot of unique situations. Noah is still processing the whole near death situation.

He expressed his emotions in this state.

Lucy listening to the confession is taken aback, she can feel that Noah is not lying. He's telling the truth but it's been so long since someone showed emotional support she couldn't understand how to react.

On one hand she's extremely happy, her heart is racing feeling love for the first time after more than a decade.

However, feeling disconnected and being lonely for so long gave her an impeccable rational mind devoid of emotions which is not accepting the notion, thinking with cold logic of how Noah who only met her for a week fell in love with her.

"If you really love me, then tell me the truth about you. Why did you lie about going for an interview yesterday?"

Noah's expression turned into confusion. He didn't understand what his confession got to do with his interview.

"when did I lie? Even if I did, how did you know?"

"It's just an intuition. You are a spy from the American magical government, right?"

Her words further confused Noah, who has no idea what she was talking about.

"Huh? What are you talking about? government and spies? If I was working for the government, I would have brought you to a luxury suite. Not this cheap stake hotel. I don't know about Britain but the Magical American government gives the highest pay checks even to it's workers. That's why I went early yesterday. I failed but that's beside the point. Wait-"

As if realizing something, Noah said

"Did you really think, just because you are from potter's family. The government will be spying on you? Ha..Haha..."

Noah began laughing hysterically, the atmosphere changed as Lucy also felt embarrassed.

"Seriously? Do you think this is some fantasy novel? Where you are from some secret top tier family. I'm sorry if I sound rude but the potters are not that big of a deal"

As if adding insult to the injury.

"Your brother's story is famous but even that is just a fairy tail, nothing much. In Britain he may be special but to the outside world, it's merely a story published by the Brits to keep their powerful magic that can suppress Voldemort, a secret. "

Lucy really hated how she could distinguish the truth from the lie. Noah is not lying at all, and she understood she just over thought everything about Noah, especially about her own worth.

But this also gave a wake up call to her about her own overthinking.

Noah calmed down after a while seeing a pouting Lucy who has a blush on her face.

"Okay, Okay. I'm sorry but you are right about one thing. I lied about my family, I don't have one. I am just an orphan"

" I'm sorry "

"Don't be so formal. So, Are we officially a couple?"

"I can't say no to such a pretty face, Can I?" Lucy kissed Noah, who melted in it but it was short one.

"So, Mr. Spy~. Now that, you don't want to attack that Monster, what should we do now? Why don't we go on a date to a hill station? "

Noah gave a nervous laugh "To be honest, I am not that rich. Can we go to somewhere cheaper like another date at a restaurant?"

"Is that so? Well, I have a lot of cash that I barely spend. I will pay for the trip"

Lucy decided to spend more time with Noah as her mind needs some time to adapt to the new emotion after a long time.

With a location in mind, she booked tickets. Noah and Lucy travelled to New Orleans.

In a hotel room, Lucy freshed up and stared at the ceiling. At least that's what Noah thought.

'This lively city New Orleans is home or dark creatures? These dark creatures have a taste.'

Seeing the mission, Lucy thought deeply 'There is still 2 weeks before I can leave. With my body temperature, it's already great that I can travel however I like but as the winter ends, I can't conceal my heat. I should deal with this as soon as possible'

From the information she recieved from Noah as part of the deal and from various books she studied about Dark creatures, she confirmed that New Orleans is indeed the hub of dark creatures.

Dark creatures necessarily doesn't mean vampires or werewolves. There are even zombies, Laliorona , Rograou , Gargoyles , voodoo spirits and devil babies.

However, for now, she can only deal damage to Zombies , Gargoyles , vampires and Werewolves with her silver bullets. Gargoyles can even be destroyed by physical strength alone, although only giants can do it as humans do not have such strength. Silver can be used.

In the first week, nothing crazy happened, Lucy and Noah enjoyed exploring various places, Noah is new to this rich lifestyle so, he enjoyed more than Lucy.

But, Lucy's main focus is also not on enjoyment, rather she gathered intel from all the words spoken around her about dark creatures and pin pointed out the possible locations of all dark creatures in New Orleans.

Lucy suddenly sensed her stalker vanish as if he never existed.

'Did he teleport? Good, This is a good opportunity to use'

Seeing the Sleeping Noah on Bed, she sighed 'Lets wait for a while to confirm if that stalker really left'

Not sensing the stalker anymore even after half and hour, Lucy realised her golden chance is here.

She wrote a note to Noah that she needs tampons suddenly and will return soon.

'Luckily, Gargoyles are near this hotel.'

Due to winter vacation and petrification incident, many students are home.

In headmaster's room, Dumbledore waited patiently then, a pop sound appeared. Few Figures in cloaks appeared.

One of them removed his hood, if Lucy is here she would immediately recognise that the 'stalker' is a well known character called

" Kingsley, tell me everything " Dumbledore said calmly with a hint of tiredness. Due to the petrification incident, he's a little busy and now, he can finally get the report he's been wanting to hear.

"yes, Ms. Potter is indeed unique. As in, she can lift a thousand pounds. Ms. Potter also shot me while she was hunting, although it was accidental "

Dumbledore searched the family tree of potters in his memories.

"Strength of the giants? But.. there was no giant married into Potter's lineage, unless someone I don't know with that lineage is married into the family"

It's normal for human wizards to have characteristics of other races like Giant's strength, Veela's charm due to genetics. It is still possible for a squib to have them. So, it's not that suprising.

"Why did she shot you, though? I don't think it is easy for anyone, magical or not to discover someone inside invisibility cloak"

Shacklebolt answered " Ms. Potter's behaviour is concerning. She hunted Wolves in the jungle, during that process, she might have shot me thinking I'm a wolf."

"wolf hunting?"

Seeing the puzzled Dumbledore, Shacklebolt continued "Yes, Although I never found the corpses of Wolves, I saw blood stains in the bath of Ms. Potter. I can 100% confirm she bathe in the blood of Wolves like some form of ritual. "

Everyone in the room gasped. A person removed his cloak and barked

"Dark ritual?! She should be imprisoned or atleast Interrogated"

Dumbledore sighed tiredly "Moody, She's a squib..No, she's a normal person, even squibs can see magic phenomenon but Ms. Potter can't. I have confirmed that she's indeed a normal human without magic. Now that she's emancipated, Ms. Potter probably tried some muggle written Ritual out of desperation to meet her family"

Most of the cloaked person's frowned out of dislike for dark magic related matters. They are important members of order of phoenix, a group who fought bravely against dark lord and dark wizards. So, they disliked hearing the positive outlook of Dumbledore on this issue.

"Dumbledore, are you supporting a person practicing dark ritual, even if it is Ms. Potter?" Moody screeched out of irritation.

"No, this behaviour is indeed disturbing. I wish Ms. Potter didn't choose the dark and welcome the light"

Seeing the serious Dumbledore, everyone in the room are little puzzled. Even if Ms. Potter didn't dark ritual, she's still a squib and can't perform magic.

"Why are you so worried about her, Dumbledore?. No matter what, she's not a threat at all" Mad eyed Moody blurted out the question everyone have on their minds.
