Adrian's Masterplan

As the sun began to set, the peaceful atmosphere of the palace was about to come to an abrupt halt. The baby princesses had arrived—Liliana, Celeste, and Evelyn—all dressed up and looking adorably regal, their outfits very carefully chosen just like mine.

And just like that, the peaceful playtime that I had been enjoying with my new friend Thorin came to a crashing halt.

I had been basking in the silence of the moment, enjoying the brief respite from the chaos of the day. My outfit, carefully selected by Mother, had made me look even cuter than I already was, causing everyone who laid eyes on me to smile when they saw me .

But when my three princess cousins entered the room, I knew my peace would not last for long.

Before I could even react, they jumped on me, their baby hands reaching out to grab me. But what happened next was even more amusing.

As soon as the three princesses saw Thorin, they practically ignored him—which, I'll admit, made me burst out laughing on the inside. Thorin's eyes sparkled when he saw the cute princesses enter, and he immediately crawled toward them, eager to greet them. But as if they hadn't even noticed him, they just passed by and focused solely on me. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself, my inner amusement barely contained.

"System, do you see this? Thorin's clearly not their favorite, huh?" I thought to myself, laughing my ass off.

"Ha! I told you," the system's voice echoed in my mind with the sound of him munching on something, . "You're the cutest bro , divine charm Gift is not a joke , of course they'd ignore him. Poor guy , I feel my man."

I looked over at Thorin, who was now sitting at the side, his eyes wide with confusion as he watched the three princesses fawn over me. I could see a hint of embarrassment in his baby face, but he didn't seem upset at all rather he was happy when he saw them talking happily with me. I guess babies are really very simple minded.

I silently cursed the system for not warning me about the chaos these girls would bring, but at the same time, a part of me couldn't help but feel a bit proud. It was still me they focused on. I was definitely winning this battle.

But as the princesses hovered around me, I quickly realized that this could be a great opportunity to turn this situation to my advantage.

Despite my inner grumbling about my misfortune, I came up with a solution.

I opened my arms wide and gave each of the three princesses a big hug, making sure to look as adorable as possible while I did. They paused, momentarily stunned by the unexpected affection from me. Their eyes lit up, and a few moments later, they were grinning from ear to ear.

They couldn't resist. I had successfully turned the tide—again. I babbled in my cutest baby voice, speaking words that barely made sense, but to the princesses, it was as though I had just spoken the most magical words.

"We pway… pway?" I said, my voice rising in pitch, hoping to distract them from their previous irritation.

Without even thinking, they nodded eagerly, completely charmed by my baby-like innocence. It was official. They had agreed to play—something I had very cleverly manipulated them into doing without them even realizing it.I also called Thaurin to play and he happily crawled over.

"Hehehehe, I laughed seeing my masterplan working"

System: Sweatdropping on the side thinking " Is it just me or is my host becoming more childish , I guess it must be due to the baby body"

And just like that, we were in the middle of a game. What were we playing, exactly? I had no clue. But the fact that the three princesses and Thaurin were chasing after me while I tried to escape felt oddly satisfying. They were all slightly older than me, meaning they were faster, but with my adult mind working behind these baby eyes, I easily dodged their attempts to catch me at the last second. No effort required.

As the game went on, I could hear the laughter and giggles filling the room, with Thorin joining in on the fun as well, though he seemed to be content simply following my lead.

Meanwhile, my Aunts—Lilith, Sylvia, and Elaris (Mother's best friend, and also the Elf Empress)—were all gathered together, chatting while watching us play. They exchanged stories about how their daughters had spent hours getting ready for the banquet, only to be even more impatient than expected.

"Well, someone took forever to get dressed," Sylvia said with a teasing smile, glancing over at Lilith, who rolled her eyes.

"Don't even get me started," Lilith responded with a sigh. "Celeste threw a tantrum because she couldn't decide which tiara to wear. It was like trying to dress a hurricane."

Elaris chimed in, "At least Evelyn was the easiest to manage today. I had her dressed in five minutes flat."

"Evelyn? Please," Sylvia laughed. "She kept slapping the holographic screen, trying to turn it on, just to see Adrian. Talk about priorities."

Seraphina, watching from the side, smiled warmly, enjoying the carefree chatter. "Sounds like you girls have had a long day already," she said, her tone light but with a hint of amusement. "But hey, looks like Adrian has already won them over."

I don't know but the way she looks at me dotingly feels very familiar.

As I continued to dodge the princesses' attempts to catch me, I couldn't help but feel a little giddy. They might have been causing chaos, but I had managed to bring them under control. At least for now.

The next few hours would surely be filled with more running and banter, but for now, I was content. Thorin, my new friend, and the princesses were all part of my new plan. And I had plenty of time to reshape things as I saw fit. After all, I was going to make sure this time that things went according to my plan after all—I was the one in control of everything.
