Eren's childhood —The path before Awakening

The world greeted Eren with nothing but the soft warmth of his mother's arm.

He was born to a kind yet struggling couple in a small isolated village surrounded by mountains and dense forest.

Life here was simple farming and haunting give the people going but Eren's life though normal on the surface was never mean to be ordinary.

[1:The First year:The unseen struggles]

From the very beginning strange thing happen around him His cries where softer than other newborns, almost as if he understand that making noise was unnecessary.

He never got sick like other children and his wound healed at an unnatural speed. His parents David and Lina notice but ignore it all the time.

But not all was easy. his family was among the poorest in the village.They barely had enough food,and Eren often went to sleep with an empty stomach.

As he grew,he started noticing his father's tired hands and his mother's forced smiles, hiding their struggles from him.

At the age of three Eren was already thinking beyond other children. He didn't cry for food when hungry, nor did he complain when cold.

Something deep inside him whispered that he had endured worse before, though he couldn't remember when or where.

[2:The First Dream–A Throne In The Void]

On his fourth birthday,Eren had his first strange dream.

He stood in a vast endless void, surrounded by stars, galaxies,and swirling nebulae.In front of him was a giant throne,carved from something older than time itself.

It was neither metal nor stone,but something beyond comprehension.

Then he heard a strange voice talking to him:

"He has returned."

"Does he remember."

"No....but he will."

Suddenly a colossal dragon,its scales shimmering like billions stars, emerged from the darkness.It bowed before him,it's voice trembling,"my creator you have returned..."

Eren woke up drenched in sweet, heart pounding.The dream felt so real,so terrifying familiar but he didn't understand why.

[3:A World That Feared Him]

By the time Eren turned five,the villagers started noticing something different about him.

One evening he was playing with a group of children when a bully,Gregor,pushed him into the dirt.

"You're weird!"Gregor glared at Eren."Even the grown-ups say you're cursed!"

Eren,still covered in dirt,looked up.For a moment his left hand's tattoo (the eye)glowed faintly.Gregor suddenly froze in terror,his eyes widening as if he had seen something horrifying.

Then he ran away screaming telling other villagers what happened then even more people think is cursed, instead of punishing Gregor for his behaviour.

The other children followed,leaving Eren alone.The village glared at Eren and start talking to themselves like"he is some kind of monster in human form.Did you see how Gregor froze when he looked at him."

Later that night,Eren asked his mother about his mark.Then she gently touched his hand and whispered," they were on your dorsal when you were born. No one knows why."

From that day Eren didn't ask again.His mother and father always try to cheer him up when he is feeling sad by the words of villages.

His mother always said to him," listen Eren you don't have to hear what other say to you.People always says thing like this to others. Don't let it get to you."

"You are far more powerful than those words.No matter what people say to you,always do what you want, follow your heart."

Your father and I will always support you."after hearing this word and always feel safe and happy knowing that is parents love him and care about him.

[4:A Glimpse of power–the wolf attack]

Eren was a kind boy who always wants to help others despite how other treats him.

At the age of 6,Eren went into the Forrest alone.His mother tells him not to go but he wanted to prove himself that he can help his father in hunting.

He carried a small wodden knife, gripping it tightly as he walked deeper into the trees.But he doesn't know that he was been watched.

Suddenly a black–furred wolf emerged from the bushes, its red eyes locked onto Eren.Its body was twice his size, muscles ripping beneath its fur and it's has very sharp fangs.

Eren's instincts tells him to run, but his feet didn't move.Then the wolf jump.Eren was scared and didn't move.

And then ....something happened.

A golden glow erupted from his right hand,and before he knew it, the wolf stopped in mid–air frozen in place then suddenly a lightning hit on its body, leaving a burned dead body behind.

Eren got too scared and got unconscious right on the spot.

Eren woke up at dawn, shaking.He looked down at his hand –the mark was still glowing.

"What...was that?"

"Was that a dream?"Eren questioned.

Then he looked in front of him.A black burned wolf's body lying dead in front of him.

Eren got scared and run towards the village.At Eren's house his father and mother were searching for a him all around the village. They try to ask help from some villages but no one wanted to help.

At dawn Eren's parents heard a familiar voice of crying and looked at the direction where the sound coming from and saw Eren.

Eren was crying in running towards them and hugged them.He was shaking and his temperature was gone high.

His parents quickly took him to the house,lied him on the bed and put a wet cloth on his forehead.

After some rest, Eren woke up at night and looked around."You are finally awake."When he looked up his saw his mother in tears.While his father had a worried face.

Eren didn't tell his parents nor anyone,what happened in the forest and his parents never tried to ask him about it either.

[5:A friend who believed in him]

By the time he turned seven,Eren had learned to keep his strangeness hidden.

But not everyone feared him.

A girl named Lisa a daughter of a baker, always talks to him.She was one year younger than Eren.

They were very good friends and always help eachother.Lisa's parents also likes Eren and never thought like the villagers.

Lisa has a deep affection towards Eren but she was too scared and shy to tell him.Her mother and father already knew about it and they were also happy.

One day Lisa's father died due to some disease and Eren was very sad by the news.After that day Eren always go to Lisa's house and tries to cheer up her.

The villagers didn't care about them either and starts to spread false rumours about it.Some villagers even said that it was Eren's cursed power that killed Lisa's father.

Kids start bullying him even more.But whenever that happens Lisa always tries to protect him."Eren is not cursed,he is just quiet"she always says to others when they are talking about him.

She was his only friend,the only one who smiled at him without fear.They often spent their time sitting near the river and watching fishes swim.

Lisa has yellow eyes and hair.She is also a kind hearted girl and wants to help others in need,but she doesn't help those who treat Eren like some demon.

One day she asked,"Eren,do you ever fell like you didn't belong here."

He hesitated before nodding.

She smiled,"me too.But it's okay.We can be weird together."

(Somewhere in the galaxy)

A man looking at Eren In a round crystal ball says "that boy,he has some mysterious power."

"I want his soul,I want his power.Prepare to die little little kid,I am coming to take your soul and become powerful."

"Ha Ha Ha Ha"

The man was one of the low ranking gods.He has the power to control elements.His name is Marco.
