The next day, Hou called for Hamar. Once you did this, Yue took over and controlled Hou's body.
"You are Hamar?"
".... Yes?" Hamar looked confused as Hou verified his name and his whole aura was different. He stood different and spoke with more authority and experience.
"Swing your sword, show me your skills" Yue, in Hou's body, ordered Hamar to demonstrate his swordsmanship in order to see if he is worthy.
While talking Yue used Hou's improved eyesight to look at Hamar's facial movements and determine his feelings.
Hamar felt unnerved but did as he was told and got into position. He soon forgot about the weirdness and fully focused on showing his swordsmanship. He stood and started breathing, his whole aura changing.
Suddenly he opened his eyes and swung his sword on different movements which when fighting would offend and defend. But without opened it became a beautiful dance of man and nature.
Yue observed carefully pouring miasma qi into the eye parasites to observe the dance carefully.
Yue stood still, waiting for the demonstration the finish before clapping lightly,
"Beautiful, what is this swordsmanship called?"
"There's no fancy name, I just made it up myself" Hamar felt flattered and rubbed the back of his head.
"Amazing, you truly are talented, and responsible. Would you permit me to name this swordsmanship?"
"Of course, uh sir Hou"
"It shall be... Predator and Prey swordsmanship. I can't tell it was created from fighting wolves, the most common animal in these lands, you truly embody both wolf and hunter when you swing your sword. You show a flexible both offense and defense, footwork showing the wild attack of wild packs and the agile retreat of humans"
"..." Hamar stood shocked at Hou's sudden poetic analysis of his swordsmanship.
"Oh you're flatterin' me, it ain't something so grand" Hamar their to defend.
The felt he was worthy and without warning he stepped forth, he placed his hand on Hamar's forehead. He creating a cut using his fingernail and using some advanced blood formation, created a memory packet for Hamar to absorb.
"Continue to advance your sword path, this formation will give you inspiration and you will create your own abilities. You are a very talented man indeed, that isn't some humble sword fighting..."
Yue feel back into hibernation, and in so Hou's body collapsed. Hamar was shook and carried for Armen, who then promptly tried healing him. He was still breathing so Armen left him to wake up himself.
A few hours later, Hou woke up properly, himself not Yue in his body.
"Yue are you awake?"
"Just barely, taking over your body took a lot out of me"
"So what was the conclusion?"
"I have his Predator and Prey swordsmanship praise, and I have him some memories that'll help him with inspiration. Just let him work in his swordsmanship and soon enough with his talent there'll be some new developments"
"I should give him more parasites, to enhance his strength"
"You should, but you are a sect now. You cannot give preferential treatment. Give him appropriate tasks with the parasite as a reward."
Hou nodded and Yue went back to sleep. Hou decided today would be focused on training and instantly left his body and controlled it from his inner world.
Hou looked throughout the camp, walking out of his tent and Armen came to see if he was alright. Although not perfect, he looked sleepy and less like a puppet now, his training had paid off.
Hou assured he was fine, and looked around to check if everyone was doing their jobs.
Hamar and Armen had come together to say how many contribution points would be given for the leather production from the wolves Hou and Armen had hunted before.
Now everything was busy, there were people visiting wolves and passing the constituent parts to others. Armen was given the meat to keep it from spoiling. Other were given to skin which was then stretched and fur scraped off.
No leather had been produced yet as they would be creating high quality leather which involves many more steps, they only made low quality leather for Da's harness due to time constraints.
The camp was bustling with life, overall there were 19 people including Hou himself. There was a center forming where trade and passing of materials would occur. Around the campfire was small stalls which a few of the artisans had crafted. Not everyone was needed for the leather production so they set up stalls in order to get contribution points themselves still.
'I need more tasks, perhaps I can set up a board and have lots of varieties of tasks which can be slowly dealt with, and it refreshes daily. I should get someone to become my assistant who should take tally if the contribution and tasks'
Hou looked around until he found a suitable target, the designer who had designed Da's saddle on short notice. They had literacy and should be able to create a task system and keep track of it.
Hou walked up and told them his plan,
"I can do that sure, perhaps I could get an ability like Hamar in exchange?"
"Maybe, not yet though. Show your worth and I'll give you benefits I see fit over time. For now, how about I give you a better meal than everyone else, more meat"
The designer nodded,
"That's fine with me, nice to work with you, I'm Penn"
Penn puts out his hand with a grin and Hou took it giving a firm handshake. The two locked in the deal and Penn got to designing the system in more detail.
Hou finished looking around the camp and disabled the physical blood formation, quickly replacing it with the one in his inner world.
Hou flew back into his tent and sat down, extending his inner world and training it, slowly nourishing it. He focused on his spirit will that he had and saw it, and decided to ask Yue,
"Master, so what exactly should I do to make the spirit stronger? Do I feed it qi or is there more I need to do?"
"There is more indeed, like you gained it, you need to create a dream realm which when conquered is power can strengthen the spirits existence"
