Hou thought to make use of Fatty Kuang and instead of using his compass he asked,
"So Fatty Kuang, where is the most popular or best teahouse around here?"
"Fatty! Well... I guess I am! Shall I show you the way Young Master?" Initially he was against the nickname until he looked down and patted his belly and laughed.
"Just bring me to the teahouse and you may leave, but I do have one question."
"Anything, I will answer"
"What is that 10000 alcohol pill? What's it for, just drinking?"
"haha, I will explain to young master as we walk. Let me activate this divine treasure, it will stop anyone listening in."
Hou looked at Fatty Kuang in a different light, although he was a drunkard he seemed to actually be fit of his rank when sober. Fatty Kuang looked into his robe and rummaged in it, eventually finding what he was looking for. He pulled out a box, and opened it up facing towards Hou,
"These are Blood Sound Transmission Needles, simply insert on of the needles into your body and we can communicate with thought"
'Similar to how me, Yue and Araxis can communicate in one body. Perhaps the name can explain the mechanism, blood for a connection, sound for the type of info transmitted. So perhaps it uses blood laws?' Hou thought to himself.
Hou nodded and took one needle out of the box and inspected it, he then stabbed it into his neck. Fatty uang did the same and he spoke through the Blood Sound Transmission Needle,
"Like so, just think of talking to me"
"I understand, so explain as we walk"
"yes Young Master!"
Hou and Fatty Kuang then started walking, Hou merely followed Fatty Kuang and did not pay attention to where he was, instead he focused on speaking and listening.
"The reason I needed to establish private communications is that this is a secret to my Dao of cultivation. My path, the one I chose is the Dao of Liquor. Most of my laws are focused on alcohol and its effects, the 10000 alcohol pill is a part of this. That pill can do two things, give me many varied alcohol laws and by experiencing it while absorbing I can increase my impression of the Alcohol Dao."
"I see, thank you for telling me despite it clearly being secret. I have one final question, how do you see in Cloud Prism?"
"You do not know? Its a simple sight and cognition law body cultivation technique, it allows me to make out vague shapes and colours in front of me. Its the best I could afford, similar to the sight of an elderly person. Most people use techniques to have high acuity with low range, still more range than me, I spend most of my money on alcohol. "
"Then how did you navigate?!"
"I've been in this city for a long time, I've memorised what I need to know."
"impressive, that is all."
"nothing, nothing. Anyway, Young master we are here...please can I have my Blood Sound Transmission Needle back?"
Hou did not answer but instead reached for his neck and pulled the needle out, wiping it on his robe before handing it back to Fatty Kuang. As he walked away, Hou looked up and saw he was in front of a massive scaling building.
It was purple-red in colour and made with some sort of wood. Just looking at it, Hou could see that it was very expensive, not only the size but jade and gold decorations. He even saw materials that could not be described with only words, a tapestry on the building. The nameplate was made so complicated his technique could not comprehend it.
Hou was only seeing due to the pure laws being translated into different 'looks' and 'materials' but the cognition laws. In reality the building may not be made of wood but it likely has wood laws.
He walked to the door and was greeted by a women with a green flowing dress. It was very modest and did not have special designs, it covered her form completely. She had short hair, cut above the shoulders and a pink flower hairpin.
"I see Sir is looking at my hairpin quite intensely, you must have a high ranked sight technique to see it, please come in"
She turned and opened the door, bowing and gesturing Hou to walk in. But before Hou entered he asked,
"What is your name, such a beauty shouldn't go unnamed?"
The woman smiled and gestured at the door,
"My name is Yun Cha, I am not that beautiful you jest. May you show me you ID Token first?"
Hou didn't know what an ID token was but he remembered Mo Huai had told him to show his direct disciple token in case of any problems. He looked in his robe pockets and found the token, a palm sixed rectangular form. It was made of purple crystal and in the centre had a cloudy marking and his name.
He passed it to Yun Cha casually, Yun Cha inspected it and her eyes widened. She used some kind of technique as Hou saw her body glow, this was due to the laws being activated and Hou's cognition formation perceiving that as light.
Once she was done inspecting it further, she bowed much deeper and held it back to Hou with slight trembling hands. Hou saw this and thought there was some sort of problem, he asked,
"Is there an issue?"
"No Sir, I apologise for not recognising such a magnanimous figure, there have been fake robes in the past. You are Hou Zhigong, first disciple of Elder Nine Clouds Purple Miasma. Please, this tea service shall be free of charge since you are on your initiation pilgrimage. Have you visited Cloud Prism's inheritance yet?"
"Not yet, thank you"
Hou nodded and walked into the establishment. He was ushered by Yun Cha to a private room meant for important visitors. It was decorate beautifully and had jade tea ware, and a beautiful tapestry hung on the wall. He sat down on one of the velvet cushions.
"Yun Cha, you may leave my tea and let me be private. Thank you for your hospitality."
"No it is my pleasure Young Master Hou. May you be successful in your endeavours"
