Hell Unleashed

Luca didn't stop running until his fists slammed into the concrete wall of an abandoned warehouse. Blood smeared his knuckles, but he didn't feel it. All he could feel was the rage boiling inside him.

Elena was gone.

And Valerio had her.

Dante leaned against a rusted table, arms crossed. "Alright, so what's the plan? Because I assume 'punch everything' isn't going to get her back."

Luca's breath was ragged as he forced himself to think. Every second that passed was another second Elena was with him. He couldn't afford to lose control. Not now.

"We hit him where it hurts," Luca growled. "Money. Power. His people."

Dante whistled. "So we're going for all-out war? I like it."

Luca turned, his eyes burning with lethal determination. "I don't care what it takes. I don't care who I have to kill." His voice was low, dangerous. "I'm getting her back."

Dante pushed off the table, stretching. "Well, then. Let's burn this city down."

The first explosion went off at midnight.

A warehouse—one of Valerio's key supply hubs—lit up in flames, shaking the streets. The second followed minutes later, taking out a shipment of illegal arms.

By the third explosion, the city was in chaos.

Valerio's empire was bleeding.

And Luca?

Luca was just getting started.

Inside the Cage

Elena watched from the balcony as fire consumed the skyline. She could feel Luca's rage from miles away. He was coming for her.

The door opened behind her.

"Elena."

She didn't turn. "You underestimated him."

Valerio sighed, stepping beside her. "No, I knew exactly what he would do."

She glanced at him. "And you're not worried?"

Valerio's smirk was cold. "No."

Because whatever game he was playing—

It was only just beginning.
