Reunion

Jack stopped by the drama room to meet his friends. "Morning, guys."

Zed, one of his friends, raised an eyebrow. "Hey, Jack, what took you so long?"

Jack shrugged. "The usual stuff."

Jason, another friend, chimed in. "Oh, how long will you toy with that girl, Jack?"

Jack's smile turned cold. "Until her life is useless."

Jade, Jack's childhood friend, spoke up, concern etched on his face. "(Sighs) Jack, you need to end this. You'll ruin your life, and for what? So you can ruin how many girls just for one girl who hurt you? It's not right. I don't like this new you, Jack. It's disgusting and unbelievable. How do you think your mom will react when she finds out about this new behavior?"

Jack's expression turned icy. "That's if she finds out. My mom's well-being is none of your business, Jade. There's something I've wanted to tell you, and I think this is the right time. I think it's high time we stopped being friends."

Jade's eyes widened in shock. "What? Why? We've been friends since forever. You can't just end our friendship."

Jack shrugged. "Yes, I can. I'm tired of your lectures. You're no longer a part of this group, so please leave."

The other boys stared at each other in shock as Jade finally spoke up. "Fine, if that's what you want, then I'll leave. But when you come back to your senses, you know where to find me."

With that, Jade walked out of the drama room, leaving Jack and the others behind.

As Jade made his way to the assembly, Mrs. Penny's voice boomed through the hall. "Welcome back, students. It's good to see you all once again. Joining us this session are three important students: Shawn Wayne, son of our very own business tycoon Hart Wayne; Mia Williams, daughter of Tom Williams, the president's brother; and finally, Jaden Williams, the president's nephew." The crowd erupted into applause as Mrs. Penny gestured for the three students to step forward.

"Quiet down now. They'll be joining us from today onwards, and please don't make them uncomfortable. You may now go to your classes."

As the assembly dispersed, the students buzzed with excitement, whispering among themselves about the new additions to their school.

Mia walked up to Jaden, a curious expression on her face. "Hey Jaden."

Jaden turned to her, a warm smile spreading across his face. "Hey Mia."

Jaden's eyes sparkled with interest. "How are you?"

Mia chuckled. "I'm good. I had no idea I had a cousin named Jaden."

Jaden's expression turned thoughtful. "Really? I've heard a lot about you, and the reason why you were kept a secret... I also knew you'd be attending this school, that's why I'm here to meet my little sister."

Jaden's smile widened, and he opened his arms, inviting Mia in for a hug. Mia's eyes welled up with tears as she wrapped her arms around Jaden, holding him tightly.

Jaden hugged her back, his expression warm and welcoming. As they pulled back, Mia's eyes shone with happiness, and Jaden smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

With a shared smile, they parted ways, heading to their respective classes, both of them looking forward to getting to know each other better.
