Prologue I: The War Begins

It began with a light in the sky—a red star that should not have been there.

For weeks, it loomed over Earth, its glow intensifying until the night was drowned in a bloody hue. Some called it an omen, a warning of things to come. Others dismissed it as a celestial anomaly. They were all wrong.

Then, on the day known as The Cataclysm, the star shattered.

Its fragments, burning like the embers of a dying sun, rained down upon the world in an apocalyptic storm. The largest of these Shards of the Red Star struck three key regions:

The First Impact: The Western Hemisphere, where the powerful nations of the world once ruled. It cracked continents, drowned cities, and unleashed horrors never seen before. The Second Impact: The Middle East and parts of Africa, reducing entire landscapes to glassy wastelands while igniting an inferno that never ceased burning. The Third Impact: The Eastern lands, where the unknown swallowed nations whole. No news, no survivors. Just silence.

And then came the ice.

In the weeks that followed, the world was consumed by a new Ice Age. A perpetual winter spread across the globe, freezing oceans, burying cities, and ending civilizations overnight. Governments collapsed. Borders meant nothing. Humanity was no longer at the top of the food chain.

Because something else came with the Shards.

The Awakening

The Shards did not just destroy.

They changed those who survived.

At first, the symptoms were subtle. A fever that burned hotter than fire, visions of things beyond mortal understanding, whispers from something ancient and unknown. Those afflicted either died in agony or emerged from the ordeal… different.

Stronger. Faster. Something more than human.

They were called the Awakened—men and women whose bodies had fused with the power of the Shards, granting them abilities that defied all logic. But not all Awakened were the same.

Elemental Awakened: Those who could control the very forces of nature—fire, ice, storms, shadows, and even time itself.Titanborn: Those whose bodies expanded beyond human limits, growing to colossal sizes, capable of leveling cities with a step.Aetherborn: Those who touched the fabric of reality itself, bending space, summoning weapons from thin air, and defying the laws of physics.Beastborn: Those who became something less than human, mutating into terrifying creatures that prowled the ruins of the old world.

And then there were the monsters.

Not all who touched the Shards remained human. Some lost themselves entirely, becoming inhuman horrors—creatures of twisted flesh, empty eyes, and unquenchable hunger. They were not just animals or mutants. They were something else.

Something alien.

The Fall of the West – Betrayal of Humanity

Faced with an extinction-level event, the great nations of the West had a choice: fight or submit.

They chose to kneel.

As the monstrous entities from the Shards emerged, Western leaders struck a deal with the abyss. In exchange for their survival, they offered loyalty to the invaders. Cities became strongholds for these creatures. Governments transformed into puppet regimes, ruled not by humans, but by beings from beyond.

They called it "The Covenant."

But in truth, it was the greatest betrayal in human history.

Only a few resisted. Pockets of survivors, rogue Awakened, and rebels who refused to sell their souls. But they were hunted. Eradicated. Turned into fuel for the invaders' dark experiments.

And so, the West fell without a fight.

The East Closes Its Doors

In contrast, the Eastern lands responded in a different way. They did not bow. They did not surrender.

They vanished.

The surviving Eastern nations—China, Japan, Korea, and parts of Russia—activated something ancient, something hidden beneath their lands for centuries. A barrier.

An impenetrable wall of energy, stretching across their borders, isolating them from the rest of the world. No one knew what happened inside. Some believed they were preparing for war. Others whispered that they had made a different kind of pact.

But one thing was clear: they had abandoned the rest of humanity.

And in the chaos, only one region stood against both the monsters and the traitors.

The Middle Lands – The Last Resistance

Africa and its neighboring regions refused to kneel.

They fought against the creatures. Against the traitors. Against the abyss itself. They were the only ones who stood their ground. And from this resistance, the greatest of the Awakened emerged.

They were warriors, giants, kings of fire and thunder. And they were ready to bring retribution.

The world thought humanity was lost.

They were wrong.

Scene I – The Colossus Awakens

Somewhere in the frozen Mediterranean, the sea trembled.

Beneath the ice, something moved.

A shadow, deeper than the ocean itself, rose from the depths. Water cascaded down its form as it breached the surface, standing against the crimson sky.

Alaa Moujado had awakened.

His body, infused with the might of the Shards, had become something beyond human comprehension. He was a Titanborn, a walking cataclysm, standing fifteen kilometers tall. His voice, deeper than thunder, rolled across the lands.

"TRAITORS OF HUMANITY… YOUR TIME HAS ENDED."

The ground quaked beneath his steps. The frozen waves shattered as his colossal hand reached forward, seizing the Eiffel Tower like a toy.

With a single swing, he erased an entire district from existence.

And he was not alone.

Scene II – The Inferno Joins the Battle

A second figure emerged from the horizon, engulfed in flames that burned hotter than the sun. His body was wreathed in an infernal glow, his every step melting the ice beneath him.

Ali Moujado – The Firestorm of Retribution.

His hands clenched into fists of pure fire, his hell-born flames roaring to life. He looked up at his colossal cousin, a grin forming across his ember-lit face.

"Alaa, don't take all the fun for yourself!"

Alaa smirked, his massive frame shaking the sky.

"Then hurry up, cousin! waits for no one!"

And behind them, from the ruins of the old world, more warriors rose.

The King of Insects, the Phantom of Blades, the Titan of Storms—all Awakened, all ready to bring judgment upon the traitors and monsters who had taken their world.

This was no longer a fight for survival.

This was war.

And Retribution had just begun.

Epilogue – The Dawn of Judgment

The West had sold its soul. The East had closed its doors.

But the Middle Lands…

They would burn everything down before they let humanity fall.

The Red Star had given them power.

Now, they would return it in fire and blood.
