Velmoria

The chirping of the morning birds woke Ever from his dreams. He did not know what he dreamed about, nor did he care, for today, he would reach Velmoria, the Capital city ruled by House Atlas of Kamobma.

Although, he was shocked to receive a letter with the king's name in it. Still, he did not complain after all whatever the case may be he would be able to attend the royal academy without an exam to pass or any strings to pull whatever case he was not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Still, he did not know what to think of his current situation after all if Viscount Hedanes wanted to harm his family why send him to the royal academy surely there are many other ways to deal with him rather than sending him to a place he could actually grow stronger but then again the royal academy sends it knight apprentices to dungeon expeditiion may be they wanted to kill him there and if so why go to such length, none of this made any sense to him.

(Dungeons are a complex maze ruled by demons the stronger the demon the harder the dungeon. They are a complex underground labyrinth with strong magical powers. Though one could also be a dungeon master after conquering the dungeon but they would need to have demon blood are be descendants of one to be able to activate the dungeon core. In this regard, continent towers are much more efficient as whoever conquers them can become its ruler though they are much harder to conquer than even the hardest dungeon. {Demons are also divided into many ranks starting from demon kin-commander-elder-baron-earl-count-duke-king} Demons are naturally born stronger than humans a newly born demon commonly known as a demon kin is equal to a rank 2 human making them a powerful race.)

After breakfast Enver with the 2 maids,4 servants, and 6 soldiers that he brought with him make their way towards their destination. Three hours later they could see the city of Velmoria with its massive walls.

Velmoria of Kamobma is a city of grandeur and mystique, a place where the medieval architecture and the magical intertwine seamlessly. Nestled in the heart of the kingdom of Kamobma, Velmoria is a city of towering spires, fortified walls, and bustling streets, all imbued with an air of ancient power and regal authority. The city is a beacon of Kamobma's strength, blending the kingdom's martial prowess with its deep-rooted connection to the arcane.

The city is encircled by The Aegis of Kamobma, a colossal ring of stone and steel that stands as a testament to the kingdom's might. The walls are over 120 feet tall, reinforced with layers of enchanted iron, and inscribed with glowing runes that pulse with protective magic. Watchtowers rise at regular intervals, each manned by archers and battlemages who keep a vigilant eye on the horizon. The gates, named DawnspireDuskfallNorthwatch, and Southwarden, are marvels of engineering and magic, their massive doors forged from magically tempered bronze and adorned with intricate carvings of Kamobma's history.

We slowly moved towards the southward which is the quickest way to reach the estate. The checking in the ways was not too tight so the wait to enter the city was not long. Within 10 minutes we were in front of the estate. The only way you could differentiate it from the slums which are just a 5-minute walk from here was the walls surrounding the estate.

Entering the estate Enver was greeted by the butler sab and the servants of the estate, "Young Master Enver. Greeting. We welcome you to the estate"

Enver nodded and said, "Where is my father"

Sab, "Young master, Master is currently resting in the room"

Enver, "Resting did he not know that I was coming today"

Sab, "This young master it …umm.."

Enver said in anger," It's ok. I understand…. I will be joining the Royal Academy in 2 days and will be living there in the future. If my father wants to meet me let me know"

Sab a bit nervous, "Yes, young master"

Enver spent the next two days were spent exploring the city.

Velmoria's residential areas are divided into distinct tiers, reflecting the city's social hierarchy. The Gilded Quarter is home to the nobility and wealthy merchants, its streets lined with opulent mansions and townhouses adorned with intricate carvings and magical wards. The Crimson Lane district houses the city's artisans and skilled workers, its cobblestone streets bustling with activity. Here, blacksmiths, tailors, and enchanters ply their trades, their workshops filled with the clang of hammers and the hum of magical tools.

At the heart of Velmoria stands the Palace of Eternal Radiance, the seat of Kamobma's monarchy. The palace is a sprawling complex of gleaming white marble, golden domes, and crystalline spires that catch the sunlight and scatter it into rainbows. Its central tower, the Spire of Lumina, is said to house the Everburning Flame, a magical artifact that symbolizes the eternal strength of Kamobma. The palace grounds are a paradise of enchanted gardens, where fountains of liquid light and trees that bear golden fruit create an otherworldly atmosphere. The throne room, known as the Hall of Infinite Dawn, is a vast chamber where the walls seem to shift and shimmer, depicting scenes of Kamobma's glorious past.

The Bazaar of a Thousand Wonders is the lifeblood of Velmoria's commerce, a sprawling marketplace that stretches across the eastern quarter of the city. Here, merchants from across the realm and beyond gather to trade their wares. The air is thick with the scent of exotic spices, the sound of haggling, and the hum of magical energy. Stalls overflow with enchanted jewelry, rare alchemical ingredients, and artifacts from distant lands. At the center of the bazaar stands the Celestial Pavilion, a massive open-air structure where the most valuable and magical items are auctioned under the light of floating, enchanted lanterns.

In stark contrast to the city's grandeur lies the Ashen Hollow, Velmoria's slum district. Tucked away in the shadow of the city walls, the Hollow is a maze of crumbling buildings, narrow alleys, and makeshift shanties. The air is thick with the smell of smoke and decay, and the streets are patrolled by gangs and rogue mages who operate outside the law. Despite its grim appearance, the Hollow is a place of resilience and resourcefulness, where the city's poorest residents eke out a living through ingenuity and sheer will. Rumors abound of hidden passages and secret markets where forbidden magic and illicit goods are traded.

The military might of Velmoria is centered in the Iron Bastion, a fortress-like complex in the western quarter of the city. The Bastion is home to the Kamobman Legion, the kingdom's elite soldiers, and is a hub of military activity. Its training grounds are filled with the sounds of clashing swords and shouted commands, while its forges produce some of the finest enchanted weapons and armor in the realm. The Bastion also houses the War College of Kamobma, where officers are trained in strategy, tactics, and the use of battlefield magic. The fortress is a symbol of Velmoria's strength, its walls adorned with banners bearing the kingdom's crest—a lion wreathed in flames.

Velmoria of Kamobma is a city of contrasts, where the opulence of the royal palace stands in stark contrast to the grit of the Ashen Hollow, and where the disciplined order of the Iron Bastion coexists with the chaotic energy of the Grand Bazaar. It is a city where magic is woven into the very fabric of life, from the glowing runes on the walls to the enchanted lanterns that light the streets at night. Velmoria is not just the capital of Kamobma—it is the beating heart of the kingdom, a place where history, power, and magic converge.

While all this was impressive what truly concerned Enver was the royal academy. The Royal Academy of Velmoria is one of the most prestigious institutions of learning in the realm. Located in the city's northern quarter, the academy is a sprawling complex of towering spires, grand lecture halls, and enchanted libraries. Its most iconic feature is the Tower of Arcanum, a slender spire that seems to pierce the heavens, its apex glowing with a constant swirl of magical energy. The academy is renowned for its rigorous curriculum, which includes the study of magic, history, alchemy, and martial arts. Students from across Kamobma and beyond come to study here, their robes emblazoned with the academy's crest—a phoenix rising from a flame.

And tomorrow will be his first day in this renowned institution.
