Chapter 2 The Oracle

I didn't want to go to her at first,maybe I should go get Kai. But something in me wanted to go ahead and do this , it felt right to go.

I approach her and she leads me through the winding corridors of the moonlight Rest. I can't help but feel a sense of calm and hope as I follow her.

Mia stops in front is a large, ornate door. Adorned with symbols of the moon and stars ,she turns to me with a serious expression.

"The Oracle's chamber." She says. I look at her and wonder how she knew because I never told her anything.

Before going in I turn to her, "Mia, how did you know that I was looking for the Oracle?"

"She takes my hands I to hers , everyone is connected to their destiny it will always find you wherever you go. Go ahead you have a little time before fool moon in two days. Be warned Oracle's truths can be difficult to hear."I wanted to ask what she meant but she let go of my hands and left before I could say a word

I pushed the big door open, I step inside.

The room is dimly lit, with only a few candles illuminating the space. In the centre of the room , I see a figure shrouded in the shadows.

As I approach, the figure slowly rises, revealing an ancient woman with eyes that seem to see right through me.she regards me with a piercing gaze.

"Ah,young one," she says in a voice that sends shivers down my spine. "I have been expecting you, your powers are growing stronger by the day, and you must learn how to summon them and control them before the consume you like your uncle."

The Oracke pauses , studying me intently.

"Your 18th birthday is approaching and with it, a great transformation. You must be prepared."

She reaches on the shelf and holds out a smal delicate box.

"This contains a gift to help you on your journey, open it when the time is right."

I wanted to know more.

"But o don't have powers and what do you mean transformation?" I ask.

Your 18th birthday marks a turning point in your life," the Oracke replies"your powers will surge, and you will be forced to confront the true nature of your abilities and what your purpose is to this town. It is a time of great change and great danger. "

"What can I do to prepare?" I asked.

"The gift I gave you will help "the Oracle said. "But you must also learn to control your emotions and focus your mind. Your powers are tied to your emotions, and if you cannot control them you risk losing them or losing your mind.

"The Oracle's expression turns serious.

"There is another danger lurking in the shadows," she says. A dark force is connected to you and in order to come together with thga dark force it will fight you first and it will stop at nothing to achieve its goal."

I turn and walk away opened the door when I was about to step out I remembered that I had one more question I turn the whole room is dark and Empty.

I get scared and make my way back to my room. I walk in my brother Kai still fast asleep I look at the time it felt like hours but it took .e close to 30 minutes since I left.

I immediately get into bed I slept.

Morning came I woke up from the sound of my brother conig out if the shower, siting up and rubning my eyes as bright light sips through the window.

"Hey , I think if we need to find the Oracle soon we need to go now the day is short in two days you'll be 18 come on let's hurry up."Kai said.

"We don't have to I found the Oracle and he gave me all I needed for the juorny back home and how I can summon my powers. "He was surprised.

"Why didn't you wake me up, what if you got killed, what would I have said to mom and dad?" I scoffed.

"It felt right at the time to do this alone , I don't think you were needed I had to do this alone. Go get us horses so we can make our journey back home."

Kai left then returned got our stuff sorted out and left the room to the reception to funny enough the lady there was a different one we asked and they didn't know who Mia was. Went out to the carrage about to live when a mysterious man cane to us with a warning.

" My name is Frank"he said that while looking around like he was searching for something." I am here to warn you I was send by the Oracle she had to leave the city, the Dark force me mentioned is closer than you think, be careful, for it will not hesitate to strike.

"If I may take your time what do you know about the dark force can you atleast tell me more. "He hesitated. His expression turns grim, and he glances around as if ensuring we are alone.

"Not here ,get in the carrage will talk on the way, Tue dark force is an ancient evil , He says. He says his voice barely a whisper.

It's the power that has been growing in strength in centuries, feeding on the darkness within the hearts of men."

He pauses , collecting his thoughts . They say the dark force orriginates from a place known as the Shadow Realm."

"My mom came from there, he was sent at a young age and she was rescued by my father and they fell in love and they had us."

"I've once been there myself, "his eyes seem to cloud over as memories of the shadow Realm giant him.

I'd it wasn't for the Oracle I wouldn't have made it out alive." He then looks away into the woods as our carage makes its way into the woods.

" The connection to your powers" Frank s gaze lock into mine , his eyes burning with intensity. "It is said that you, with unique powers, are the key to unlocking the secrets and lifting the curse that was cast on The cursed Kingdom of Sambora."he then starts being restless.

"The dark force will stop at nothing to claim you and harness your powers for its own evil purpose like it did with your uncle. Stop the carage my road ends here I can't go through the dark forest it will swallow into the nothing."

The carage stops.

"Sage journey to the two of you, don't believe in anything you see and you'll make it out the dark forest with no hustle. Farewell malady may we meet again when the time is right.
