Title: “A Seat Claimed”

Scene: Global Sovereigns Conference – Chris's POV

"Continue your meeting," I said, my voice cutting through the stunned silence like a wire through glass.

No one moved.

No one spoke.

I let the pause stretch… made it uncomfortable.

Then leaned forward just enough to remind them all — I wasn't here for protocol.

I was here to shift the table.

> "What?" I asked, tone calm but heavy. "You were discussing me, weren't you? Delvaron. Orvanu. Sanctions. Control. Containment. Isn't that what powerless leaders do when something bigger enters the room? They talk like they matter."

Still silence.

One delegate — President Kaye of the Borderline Confederacy — cleared his throat.

> "With all due respect, Your Majesty, this meeting is for allied nations under Charter Rule-7—"

> "Which was written by cowards during peace," I interrupted. "And signed by governments that can no longer defend their own capitals."

He went pale.

Others looked at him like he'd just been targeted.

> "Go ahead," I said, opening my hands mockingly. "Continue your meeting. Plan your sanctions. Write your speeches. Send your ambassadors to countries that no longer exist."

I stood now.

Tall.

Unblinking.

> "But understand this…"

I let my gaze drift around the room — made sure to meet every pair of eyes.

> "Any document you sign… that doesn't have my seal... is worthless.

Any law you pass… that contradicts my order... is void.

And any military you build… that doesn't kneel… will be crushed."

Dead quiet.

No cameras here. No reporters.

But this? This moment?

History just turned.

> "So yes—continue your meeting. You may even adjourn it.

But when you wake up tomorrow and your people chant a name,

it won't be yours."

I turned.

Walked away.

Didn't ask for permission. Didn't wait for applause.

Cut To: Delegate of the Western Isles – POV (Under the Table)

My hand shook as I typed beneath the desk, fingers trembling over the secure line to our underground network.

> He came. He just walked in. Sat in the top seat. No resistance.

We are all fed.*
