The Shooting Game

Half an hour later, Ji En had only taken a few bites of his ice cream, and the ice cream around the edges was already melting...

"This tastes really bad," Ji En commented as he pushed the ice cream box aside. He didn't like sweet food.

"Come on, I think it tastes quite good," Ji Aier remarked fairly. But the price she paid for this comment was that Ji En said, "Then this box is yours too."

There was no way Ji Aier could finish all that ice cream. After eating one and a half boxes, she could only raise her hands in surrender. She reckoned that if she ate any more, she would throw up in the toilet.

"Aren't you going to eat anymore? Don't all you girls like this kind of thing?" Ji En said, scanning the table.

Ji Aier shook her head. She really couldn't eat any more. Her whole stomach felt icy cold.

"Then let's go!" Ji En said and walked straight towards the door. Ji Aier looked at the large pile of ice creams, each with just a hole dug by Ji En, and thought it was such a waste! Unfortunately, she couldn't take them away, so she could only silently follow Ji En out of the ice house.

In the taxi,

"Shooting club," Ji En told the taxi driver. Ji Aier looked at Ji En in surprise. Had she heard him correctly? He couldn't be going to play with real guns and live ammunition, could he?

As always, Ji En didn't give any explanation.

This shooting range covers an area of 1,800 square meters and has 15 sets of 25 - meter target shooting ranges. There are various entertainment targets such as random rising and falling targets, horizontal moving targets, circulating hanging targets, and fixed rising and falling targets. It is also equipped with professional retired special forces soldiers as coaches. There are also exhibition areas for national defense knowledge education and weapons knowledge.

Ji En took Ji Aier to complete the formalities and then they entered the VIP shooting room. Ji En started teaching her how to hold a gun and how to aim at the target. She felt her whole body go stiff. She wasn't used to Ji En being so close to her, and it gave her a great sense of oppression.

"You idiot!" Ji En couldn't help but curse. Because every time she couldn't even hit the target, except when he guided her shot by shot with his own hands. He walked to the adjacent shooting area and started shooting on his own. She saw that every shot he fired hit the bullseye. She wondered how long he had been practicing shooting to be able to shoot with such precision. Maybe there were still many things about Ji En that she didn't know. For example, she was now quite sure that he had been learning shooting for a long time, and she had only found out about it today. He didn't always take her with him when he went out. For instance, when he went out with his best friends, he wouldn't let her tag along.

Perhaps Ji Aier was naturally eager to learn. So even though Ji En called her stupid and refused to teach her anymore, she still fiddled with the gun on her own. After firing several shots, she made some progress. At least she could hit the target now, although it was only the outermost ring, but it was enough to make her excited.

Ji Aier fired another shot but didn't feel the bullet leave the chamber. She took off her earmuffs and wanted to check what was going on.

"Don't point it at yourself!" Ji Aier heard Ji En's shout. Before she could react, her hand was slapped hard, and then she heard a loud bang.

Ji Aier couldn't believe her eyes when she saw that Ji En's left arm had been hit by a bullet, and blood gushed out like a fountain. It was the first time she had encountered such a scene, and she was completely stunned.

"It's no big deal. Don't worry!" Ji En actually comforted Ji Aier while enduring the intense pain.

The staff rushed in quickly, gave emergency treatment to Ji En's arm, and then took him to the hospital. On the way, her tears couldn't stop flowing. She had almost cost Ji En his life.

"I'm not going to die. Stop crying as if you've lost your husband," Ji En roared at Ji Aier, unable to stand seeing her cry so desperately. The people in the ambulance suppressed their laughter.

What was all this about? She was crying because of her self - blame and guilt. She had caused him to get injured. She had no idea how to explain it when they got back. Not only had she failed to take good care of the young master, but she had also almost killed him.

However, she still tried her best to hold back her emotions, not wanting to affect Ji En's mood.
