Since Ji Aier hadn't exercised for a long time, she wanted to find something to do. She first started by getting familiar with the environment of her new home. After walking around, she found that she was really a bit exhausted.
Finally, she stood at the door of Ji En's bedroom. Her son had just told her that this was his daddy's room.
She turned the doorknob and walked in.
Ji En's room still had the same cool color scheme as always. Just like his personality, it gave people a sense of toughness. Everything was neatly arranged in its proper place. It seemed that Ji En's cleanliness obsession hadn't changed at all.
A huge group photo was inlaid on the wall above the large bed. She had no impression at all of when this photo was taken. She looked at herself in the photo, smiling rather silly, while Ji En was hugging her affectionately.
It took her a long time to remember that this was a photo taken with their mobile phones when they bought mobile phones before Ji En went abroad. She never expected that Ji En had enlarged it and inlaid it above the bedside!
She wondered what her Ji En had become now. She wondered if he had turned into an old and grumpy man.
Ji Aier thought with a smile that no matter what he had become, she loved him! Just as she had told him when she was eighteen: Whether he was a young master or a poor man, she loved him. So no matter if he was young or old, she loved him just the same.
She walked out of Ji En's room and went downstairs. Minze had just gone out to send Tang Lei home.
What an interesting little girl, Ji Aier thought.
"Madam, would you like something to drink? I'll go and get it for you!" Mama He came over and asked Ji Aier respectfully.
"Can I have a glass of orange juice?" Ji Aier asked, feeling a bit thirsty at this moment.
"Of course. I'll get it for you right away! Madam, would you like it iced or not?" Mama He asked again. Knowing that Madam had just come back from the hospital, she wasn't sure if Madam could drink iced drinks, so she asked.
"Not iced, please! Thank you!" Ji Aier said with a smile.
"Are you Mama He?" Ji Aier took the orange juice and still asked with a smile. "How long have you been here?"
"Almost three years, I think. I came not long after the master moved here!" Mama He recalled. Time really flew by! And this was the first time she had met Madam. She never expected Madam to be so young.
"Master? Do you mean Ji En? Has he been doing well these years?" Ji Aier asked uncertainly.
"The master is very busy and rarely talks when he comes back! We all feel that the master doesn't seem very happy," Mama He said truthfully.
"Oh!" Was it because he always had a poker face that the servants thought he wasn't living a happy life? "Does that little girl come here often?"
"Madam, do you mean Miss Tang Lei? She comes here often and likes to stick to the young master! She also has a twin sister named Tang Rui," Mama He said, wanting to laugh when she thought of the depressed expression on Ji Minze's face every time Tang Lei appeared.
"Whose child is she?" Ji Aier asked curiously. It was unexpected that Minze had such a young admirer.
"She is the daughter of Mr. Tang Jun, the master's good friend," Mama He said.
"Tang Jun!" Only then did she remember that Cheng Ling'er had indeed given birth to a pair of twin daughters. She never expected they had grown up so much now.
"Yes, Madam!" Mama He said to Ji Aier. "If there's anything you need me to do in the future, Madam, just let me know!"
"Thank you!" Ji Aier nodded with a smile.
